@reneelanderson Totally normal! When DD was in utero, she was asleep for half of my ultrasounds and VERY angry during the NT scan when they tried to rouse her
This was our second scan, so excited to see it resembling a little human now!!! Does anyone else notice the blank space to the left of the baby? My curious mind wonders if that could be another one? Dr only did vaginal. Thoughts?
@TInman87 I haven't had a transvaginal ultrasound but during one of my abdominal ultrasounds, I had what looked like another sac and the US tech said it was just my full bladder haha
Another transvaginal ultrasound today. Everything looks great! Anyone else have an upside down babe? Last ultrasound was upside down too. By this ultrasound I'm thinking boy. Just doesn't look very girly to me!
@BSJMM that's a great due date! my daughter and I almost shared it but she came on the 6th instead. I can't wait for my scan next Friday. Last night I had the most vivid dreams of US appts showing triplets hopefully that is not the case LOL

I went to my new OB (my regular gynecologist doesn't deliver babies) and had my second prenatal visit, so we got to hear the heart beat this time! I'm at 8 weeks 4 days... they keep going back and forth with my due date being January 27/28, but I know the baby will come when it feels like it! It was nice to get some more images of baby to show my father-in-law. He has pancreatic cancer and has about 6 weeks left with us.
Had my first appointment this morning! I'm 9w6d due January 19. Having some fun trying to figure out old wives tales. According to the heart rate, if it's above 140 bpm it's a girl. And trying to make sense of Ramzi method and if I'm reading that right, that also says girl. Chinese gender predictor chart says boy though. I love old wives tales. So fun!
Had my first appointment yesterday 6/22 and instead of measuring my suspected 7w6d we are at 12w3d! The picture isn't the greatest since the baby was moving around like CRAZY but we are thrilled!
Had my second ultrasound on Wednesday for my rainbow baby. I measured a week late at my first ultrasound ultrasound and now only measured 4 days behind! Baby measured 9w 3d and had a heart rate of 179! Baby was moving their little legs all over!
12w3d NT scan. NT results were good (as expected since NIPT was good). Pretty cool that you can see the jaws opening and closing, with what I guess are tooth buds, huh?
And so amazing (except for the tech with a pretty crappy attitude but I understand they might need to be a bit detached).
I swear that the images in real time were very much like a real baby rather than the blobby image. Due date was moved up a day, but we're still going with Jan. 14. Whole family is now calling the baby, "The Blob". Haha!
@britmanering73 - wow, congrats on the twins! that is so exciting! unless i'm mistaken, they look to share a sac? that means identical, right? did you see a membrane between the two?
@britmanering73 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! We found out super early because we had an IUI so we knew at 6 wks... but my husband DEFINITELY turned ghost white when she first told us...!! I have been feeling surprisingly well, which is also why it was such a shock! little morning sickness around 7-9wks... that's about the worst of it. How are you?? I'm due a week before you and we're thinking mid December too Where are you from?
@Mudge85 Congrats to you too! mine did like this gasp, sob, cry, wail all at the same time HAHAHA. Oh it was great. I was good for a couple week and my fatigue and nausea has kicked back in. I have sinuses(???) apparently so every morning and night I cough and gag. Cough and gag. Good times. I'm my most tired at night. But really, no vomiting but once because the smell got to me. I actually have a breezy first trimester when I look back. We're from Ohio, you?
Had my ultrasound at week 10, heartbeat normal. And everything seems fine. Still haven't announced to family, just me and DH.....and of course you all sweet ladies...☺
NT Scan at 11w3d... everything looks perfect, heart rate of 170bpm and measuring 2 days ahead. I can't believe how much like a little baby he/she already looks!

Went in for our first (8 week) appointment to find out SURPRISE; we are actually 12 weeks pregnant.

Blowing kisses - little cutie - NT scan turned out perfect! Looks like we're team pink- according to the doctors guess. 12w3days
NT scan today. Not the clearest image. Everything looks good! HR was 165 bpm. DS was 164 bpm at this time. Hmmmm!
I had my NT scan yesterday at 12w3d. Everything looked ok, just waiting for the blood test results.
Vitals: 156–159 bpm, 65mm, 1.6mm translucency.
Heart rate - 172!
