Upcoming appointments this week? A growth scan on Wednesday morning. I go back and forth on how I feel about it. 95% of the time I feel optimistic and that everything is just fine, but every once in a while I think about it and how there's a chance something could be wrong and I cry a little. I know chances are high that everything is fine, but I HATE the unknown. It's really made me appreciate these boards even more for the support and having people who have been through the same thing. 

Any new symptoms or changes? Lots of Braxton Hicks lately. Especially when I go for a walk. My dr said it's normal during exercise. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I still can't believe that within 9ish weeks, baby will be here. I know I'm 31 weeks, but it's like I keep forgetting there's an end date. Like at some point I'll be all "today I'm 72 weeks!" I'm so ready to meet this baby but there's still so much to do and prepare for. 

GTKY: What is 1 random / unique fact about yourself? I mentioned it in another thread - my left foot is half a size bigger than my right. It's normal that nothing is exactly symmetrical, but half a size (or more) is annoying. Tennis shoes aren't so bad, but dress shoes are awful bc I either have to have one be too tight or one flop a little. I put those heel inserts in the smaller foot, but it's still not the same.

Upcoming appointments this week? Yes. I have a routine check up appointment tomorrow.

Any new symptoms or changes? I woke up from a dead sleep the other day with really bad pain in my rib area. It hurt to lay down, I felt nauseous and could barely move. Thankfully it hasn't happened since.

GTKY: What is 1 random / unique fact about yourself? @ginger1228 took the 1 I wanted to use. 1 of my feet is bigger than the other too. Lol.

Upcoming appointments this week? No, on the 18th, then June I switch to one a week.

Any new symptoms or changes? I think I've had a few contractions at night.  I've been trying to drink more water but then I have to get up to pee eleven times a night.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  Man this little guy has a heavy head, that rests firmly upon my bladder.

GTKY: What is 1 random / unique fact about yourself?  I don't have a palmaris longus tendon in my left wrist.  I have one in my right.  Also my right outer ear lobe folds over slightly while my left does not.

Any new symptoms or changes? Had my first bout of pregnancy insomnia last night.  Not fun.  I was up wide awake at 2:30a and laid there til 2:50a when I finally got up and sat in the other room.  DH woke up with me and we actually talked a lot which was nice and then had some spaghetti leftovers and went back to bed.  If I wasn't so tired today, I would have actually thoroughly enjoyed that time with him.

Another thing is these kicks/jabs/movements are starting to get painful.  I think this little girl is running out of room since I'm so short and I swear she kicked me last night and it almost broke through my skin.  I actually yelled in the car because the pain was no fun.  I'm starting to not like most of her movements these days and I still have 11 weeks for her to grow.  I'm scared.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  Our house hunt might be nearing an end!  We are putting in a formal offer on a house today and hoping we can start getting stuff squared away with that.  I'm excited!

GTKY: What is 1 random / unique fact about yourself?  I'm having trouble thinking of something!  I guess something random is that I'm really good at hand embroidering things?  I find it relaxing and don't do it all that often, but when I want to make a really nice wedding gift for someone that they will (hopefully) treasure, I embroider tea towels for them.  It takes time and patience, but the end product is so gorgeous.

@ginger1228 Wow! I bet that's not fun to have your feet size vary when it comes to shoes that only go full sizes too!  I have wide feet, so I can feel your pain about finding shoes to an extent.  They've definitely narrowed more since I lost weight, but all my wide shoes are too big and fall off when it's cooler out and when I am super hydrated, but normal width is still a little snug sometimes for me.  Ugh.

@SaphireSweetie88 Yikes! That pain sounds awful!  I hope it doesn't come back ever!

@Itsnotyourturn I think 11 times the entire day is too much to pee, let alone at night!  I so feel for you lady!

@maybeitsmadeline - I'm not happy to hear that your baby's movement hurts, but in a way I am bc this baby HURTS sometimes. I'm glad to hear it's normal. There's been so much movement the last few weeks and it's amazing, but sometimes I want to tell baby to go a little easier on me!

Upcoming appointments this week? My growth scan got moved up to tomorrow since at my last appointment my stomach hadn't changed in two weeks. Also an appointment with the midwife on Friday. We are officially on weekly appointments now to keep a close eye. 

Any new symptoms or changes? Heartburn ugh and sleepless nights. I'm glad I'm not the only one with painful kicks and jabs. She's really starting to hurt me. Especially when it's one quick roll or movement feels like I'm on a roller coaster only painful.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Got all the baby clothes washed and put away and almost finished organizing things in the nursery. I've been trying to get my butt in gear seeing as now she's talking of induction at as early as 35 weeks if baby is too small at our ultrasound tomorrow. So that would only give me 3 weeks to get everything done. Also starting a high protein diet to try to get lo to put on some weight. Still need to pack our hospital bags and make arrangements for DD1 so hopefully we will know more after the scan tomorrow and my appointment Friday. We are really getting down to the wire and I can't believe we are so close to holding our little girl. 

GTKY: What is 1 random / unique fact about yourself? I can't think of anything really unique at the moment but a random fact. I generally hate shaving. I always put it off so long and DH could really care less but it wasn't until I got pregnant this time around and had surgery at 10 weeks that he actually asked me if I wanted him to take care of shaving my legs and other areas. At first I was skeptical but finally agreed as I was at gorilla status by that point and he did an AMAZING job! Like I'm talking he did a better job than I've ever done. So now we have a weekly ritual and I stand in the shower and he shaves me down. He actually enjoys doing it for me. And i no longer have to worry about looking like chewbacca!

@ginger1228 - Mine are about 1/4 inch different but it's enough that I have to go up to the 1/2 size in shoes Lol

@maybeitsmadeline - Me too. DH was gone at work and he was about an hour away so I was about to call my neighbor and have her take me to the hospital if it didn't stop.

@ginger1228 Good luck at your scan tomorrow!  I'm glad you are feeling mostly optimistic - that is a great attitude to have and it's so hard to be optimistic sometimes.  I'm with you on the unknown being the scariest.  Even if I don't have any control over any of this pregnancy, knowing every possible scenario gives me at least some sense of calm.  Let us know how it goes!

@SaphireSweetie88 Ugh that pain sounds so scary!  I'm glad it hasn't happened again - hopefully it was a fluke.  Good luck at your appointment!

@Itsnotyourturn Ahhh 32 weeks!  I can't believe we are getting so close to having outside babies.  I hope peeing 11 times a night is an exaggeration because that sounds miserable!

Upcoming appointments this week? BPP on Thursday, big day on Friday.  We have a follow up fetal echo, meeting with the pediatric cardiologist, cardio-thoracic surgeon, and tour of the NICU and PICU.  My parents and ILs are coming with us - it will be their first chance to see the baby and ask questions.

Any new symptoms or changes? Not too much.  Been feeling some increased pressure when I have a full bladder or after eating meals.  Baby has been doing some weird things in there, like it's trying to stick its head out of my stomach or something.  You aren't escaping yet, baby!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: I kind of wish I had a bigger appetite.  I feel like I'm eating about the same amount or less at each meal than before getting pregnant due to reflux.  Like, the one time in my life I don't have to feel guilty about gaining weight, and I can't eat?? Come on!

GTKY: What is 1 random / unique fact about yourself?  I used to do product review videos for my job and I have over 1.5 million YouTube views.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for our scan tomorrow. I was driving home from work (I worked in an office today - had to actually get dressed!) and suddenly got really anxious about it. I still feel like everything is fine, but I really need to hear it from the dr! @SpongeWorthy - I'm with you on wanting to know every scenario. If there are any issues, I'm going to be scared and upset, but knowing what to expect and making a plan will help so much. 

People at work were telling me today that I look good and don't look 7 months pregnant and now I feel a little sensitive about it. I just want to be like "well I'm measuring behind and there could be issues with my baby, so thanks for reminding me." I know people don't know better but just stoppp!

We had dinner with a good friend last night and he was talking about having faith and giving it to God and I started crying in the middle of the restaurant. I've been okay talking about it in small doses, but it really hit me last night that things might not go as planned. He prayed with us and it was so nice to have someone just really care and not just brush it off with a "oh I'm sure things are fine." I really appreciate you guys. I know my real life friends mean well, but I need people to validate my feelings and try to understand where I'm coming from.

Hi everyone just wanted to update on our growth scan yesterday. She has officially moved from breech to head down and is measuring in at about 4 lbs 1 oz everything I've read says that's right around average but she did say I would have to wait til I head from the doctor for exact details. We have a checkup on Friday so I'll know more then. Also I'm not sure how accurate u/s are at determining exact weight so there's that but I'm happy with the 4 lb estimate. Thank you all for the well wishes!!!
