soooooooo tired.  Other than that, no other symptoms.  Emotionally, I feel good. I am starting to think of this as actually happening.

Not until the NT scan in 2 weeks

I have this constant fuzzy head hungover feeling. No matter how much I nap I can't shake it.

I love Charleston, SC. Outside of the country I love Ireland.

MS & exhaustion in full effect. I'm praying it fades along with first tri...some of my PAIF anxiety subsided after my last scan but I was disappointed that my OB didn't do an US Bc RE already did. Bummer!

I have an OB appt on the 22nd and then I will schedule the NT scan for a week or two after that

we loved the Outerbanks in NC; and the Jersey Shore is always a favorite of ours since it's so close

A bit better. I kept more food down this weekend and am kind of back to just extreme nausea but less puking. Am waking every morning at 4am with nausea though. Super anxious for my ultrasound on Thursday

I keep having twin dreams and I really like feel my uterus and I know it is too early but I have felt flutters and so then I feel like maybe it is twins or maybe I am crazy. @wabash15 did you know it was twins with yours? A friend told me she just knew. I don't know and up until this week my ultimate gut feeling was one but I don't know if it is being close to the ultrasound but now I am really feeling like it might actually be two. Pregnancy does feel more real and despite any anxiety my gut tells me things are progressing down there. 

5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation?
Vancouver Island in Canada. It is gorgeous and just amazing.

@baevn after we knew I was pregnant I had recurrent dream (like every night) that it was triplets but I didn't really "know" anything. when they did the US they saw one baby and did all the measurements and everything looked good. my RE then scanned over to look at an ovary and there was the second baby. I was in shock.  This time around we had 4 follies (the same number as when we got the twins) and after triggering I had this vivid dream that I was pregnant with quads but in that dream I was looking at the US of quads but holding one baby. GL with your US on thursday!

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? better after my US last week. Its nice to know things are progressing as they should... I'm looking forward to next week and seeing pistachio again.  nausea, fatigue, bloat and constipation are all so much fun but totally worth it!

4) Rants/Raves/Questions this weekend was beautiful and we had a great time outside with the twins, I got a nap in on saturday and sunday. it was wonderful

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Tired, tired, tired - just like @ameliabedelia-2 . I wish I had other symptoms! Emotionally, I'm still having ups and downs. As soon as we have an US I feel GREAT, but each day that passes between it and the next... I go downhill. Plus tired. So tired.

3) When is your next appointment?  Friday morning 5/12

5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation?  We have an upcoming trip to England in a couple weeks and that's all I can think about right now (wrt vacationing!)

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Exhausted and cranky. I'm not going to say that I'm usually happy go lucky, but I like to think I smile more than I don't, and lately, I can barely even fake it. I'm just such a CRANK. 

3) When is your next appointment? Thursday. Cannot wait to see the bean again. 

4) Rants/Raves/Questions Why am I so exhausted, but my stomach is like a steel vault. I've felt nauseous at times, but nothing has actually happened, and even that has been very rare. I don't "feel" pregnant, I just feel weak. It's also kind of annoying all the things people keep telling me I can't do. I like to think I know my limits, and I am absolutely on the "err on the side of caution" team, but come on people! Let me make those choices! 

5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation? The beach. I honestly don't care which beach, just a beach. I could spend all day just lounging and walking the sand.

Today I was dead tired and had no patience for anyone so I ended up leaving work early. Emotionally I'm pretty good, I had a spotting scare on Friday but my nurse talked me down. I did have an internal debate on whether or no to go in for an HCG test this morning, I ended up just going to work.
3) When is your next appointment? 
We have our first sono on Wednesday (which is why I didn't go in for HCG because I'll just get it then). I'm so so nervous!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions 
This is random but it was one of the things that set me off today... I HATE it when people brush their teeth in the bathroom at work! I understand, dental hygiene is important but come on! This last was brushing BEFORE lunch, maybe it's just me. 
5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation?
Disney World!!! My family and I are going in September, I'll be 6 months, I'm so excited!

@vhill74 so jealous! We are trying to plan a Disney trip for oct 2018 but DH is already trying to push it to 2019. Our DS will be 5 next year and I think it's the perfect time for him to go

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I am fine, although mega constipated and the only foods that don't disgust me are carbs and gummy bears... #healthypregnancy. Emotionally, I'm finding it hard to just trust that everything is fine. We've been TTC for 2 years and I'm so used to things not going well that I'm finding it difficult to just trust that my body is doing what it should. I wish I could have a scan everyday.

3) When is your next appointment? My next scan will be next week when I am 9 weeks.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions My husband and I just booked our flights home for the summer (we are expats living in Kuwait). Heading to England for three weeks to see his family, then Canada for three to see mine, then Italy for two for a little time together!

5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation? We absolutely LOVE the Maldives. I can't wait to go again!

After reading everyone's post, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is absolutely exhausted!

@wabash15 when did you start showing with your twins?  I know I had a little extra bloat from stims and doing a fresh transfer, but I am definitely starting to show now and I don't know if it's just more bloat/fat or because I'm having twins! 

1) How far along are you? 9+4

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Still have some nausea.  I don't always take my Diglecis at night, and the next day I don't feel great.  Sore breasts and extremely tired.  I slept most of the day on Saturday and when I went to bed at 8pm I was still exhausted and slept all through the night.  

3) When is your next appointment? I have my first OB appointment tomorrow (Wednesday).  I do not think I will get an ultrasound, but I am going to try to push for one!  It's with a new OB since my normal OBGYN no longer delivers.  I've heard great things about this group, so I'm excited to make the transition.  

4) Rants/Raves/Questions We are considering telling our siblings this weekend.  However, I have already said I won't tell them if we don't at least get to hear the heartbeats on Wednesday.  I am just terrified constantly and want reassurance.  

5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation?  I would have to say South Carolina--Kiawah Island and Charleston are my absolute favorite!

@makinganexpatbaby I totally am with you on that feeling - like for so long I was so used to hearing bad news or seeing negatives that it's so hard to believe in the positive of this experience.  I try to take it one day at a time but I know you know that's easier said than done! 

@beary67 I was so bummed when thE OB told me I don't get an 8 week scan like they normally do for people since I already had one at my RE. I have seen other OB's do it though so maybe you will be surprised and they will scan you! 

Does anyone know when they start to check for HB via the Doppler? I have an appt on 22nd and I'll be just over 10 weeks.  I really just want to hear his or heartbeat again to give me peace of mind.

@beary67 I had a definite bump by 12 weeks (small but not bloat), and I had really popped (looking obviously pregnant to people who did not know me) by 15-16wks. By viability I looked term for a singleton and closer to real term I was a house. It probably didn't help that I carried the twins both right out front. Also as a warning don't be surprised if you outgrow maternity cloths.  I did not love the over the belly pants initially (too warm) but in the end they were the only thing that remotely came close to staying up and I also only had one or two shirts that would not leave my belly uncovered on the bottom. One other piece of advice (if your in a cold climate) get a long jacket because that helps block the wind from coming up and chilling your belly. (also FYI I did not fit in any maternity coats, so I normally wear a S-M and bought a 2xl jacket, my vanity hurt for a long time but in the end I was so grateful for the extra space. OH and slip on shoes.... don't make yourself tie, buckle or zip anything at the end (unless your DH does it for you)

eta: @Marley629  I think some practices try at that stage but they may not be able to find it .... its still a little early to consistently hear it via doppler

Had my ultrasound appointment today! Everything went well, we saw our little Chili Pepper and a flicker of a heart beat (115). She says I'm measuring at 6 weeks vs 6 weeks and 4 days so she wants me to come back next week to make sure everything's good growth wise. I freaked out about that for a little while but now I'm ok. It was so weird to actually see something in there! With our last two pregnancies whenever we went in for our ultrasounds there was nothing, just an empty gestational sac and we were further along. I think I said "Holy Crap" about 5 times before I realized I was pretty loud and then I apologized.

@vhill74 glad you saw your chili pepper and heart beat. Sorry your little was measuring a bit behind. My RE says that ultrasound is +/-5days so they don't get too worried as long as your measuring within that range. I hope things look great next week.

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? For me this time is emotionally way easier then my IVF experience. I was dealing with a lot of depression but since switching from suppositories to injections that is gone. I am doing fine physically except that I am utterly exhausted nearly all the time.

3) When is your next appointment? My last RE appointment will be May 22nd and my first OB appointment will be May 23rd.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions I am ecstatic to be pregnant after eight and a half years of trying but I feel like at 39 (my husband is 49) I'll be the oldest new mom everywhere. 

5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite place to vacation? My favorite place so far was Iguazu, Argentina.

Oh I forgot to mention my boobs hurt. I actually feel sorry for my husband because they've gone up two cup sizes in the past five weeks but they are totally "look don't touch... or I will throw you out the window without feeling bad."

Good ultrasound. ONE baby, phew and a good strong heartbeat measuring right in the range just a couple days behind LMP

@baevn Such great news! 

We saw the dr and got another US today! Baby is measuring a few days ahead, and FHR is 161! Baby looks GREAT! Oh I'm so relieved. I've been having some spotting and it had me pretty worried, but it all seems good. 

And the convo with the doc went great. I have a pretty extensive medical history, most of which she is familiar with, so it was nice to be able to discuss what could happen, as well as ideas for delivery. She's on the same page as me, so that made me feel better.

I had my first OB appointment yesterday and everything went great. The doctor let me go today for an ultrasound (the tech was gone for the day yesterday) and we saw both babies. They are doing great and I'm relieved. The bleeding from the sch has stopped and hoping it stays that way!

We saw the nurse today for background and genetics stuff, she tried to find the HB with the doppler and failed (fine with me since we've found it at home every morning). Found out we only have two weeks to do the NT and sequential screens, so I have to call another office to schedule that tomorrow.

We have our final ultrasound with the RE tomorrow morning and first ultrasound with the OB on the 23rd, then it looks like nothing until 20 weeks (that's 8 weeks apart!!! Boo!).

Almost nine weeks, had my appt yesterday. All is well with the jelly beans. Heartbeats of 182 and 178. I'm looking forward to getting some energy back, I've got some serious organizing/cleaning/nesting to start on!

@PoeMasque we just ordered an at home Doppler! Which one did you get? And how many weeks did you do it at and hear the heartbeat at home? Ours should be arriving Tuesday, and my next appt to see Obgyn is next Friday the 19th. I'm 10w5d today and am so anxious to try the Doppler and see the dr. Because I haven't been in since 7w3d.  But am so scared of not being able to find the HB at home and then even more scared the obgyn won't be able to. Ughhhh. I just can't wait for next week  please any advice is greatly appreciated

I had my 8 week appt today! All is well, measuring right on target, and we even got to see a little wiggle!

@ShyTonia I really want to get a home doppler, too, because I'm still lacking on a lot of symptoms... but I think if I start stressing out, DH will start stressing, and things will get miserable... so... I'm torn. Let me know how it works for you!

@ShyTonia I forget the brand, but it was $35 on Amazon and had good reviews. I've been able to find the HB most of the time (not all the time!) since 9+5, my uterus is retroverted, so I knew it would be harder to find it early on. I'm also a nurse who does fetal Doppler readings at work, they take some time, practice, and understanding that until after 12 weeks your uterus is actually behind your pelvic bone. Most OBs don't recommend them because it can be anxiety producing if you don't find the HB, so just make sure it's something you will be ok with failing at

@afternoonduck so great to hear everything is going well! So very happy for you I was definitely interested in getting one but DH, being the tech geek that he is, took the initiative to order it as a surprise but showed me anyways.  Lol. We should be getting it Tuesday. 

@PoeMasque thanks a bunch for the pointers. That is definitely a fear of mine that I won't be able to find it. When we get it on Tuesday I'll be 11w2d. And then Friday we will be seeing the OBGYN. I know once it's in the house I will want to use it. I just won't be able to help myself. I totally feel the anxiety from both angles. I feel like if I can hear it every once and a while it'll be better for me and lil babe vs. me stressing out or worrying. But gosh help me if I can't find it, I will be so very worried. Def a catch 22. Eeeepp. Just a heads up I may be bothering you Tuesday bahaha.

@ShyTonia i totally understand, I definitely feel pretty bummed when I can't find it, but I also know it's completely normal, especially with all the bloat and other GI stuff going on down there! Just try to enjoy the times you hear it and picture your little bean tucked away behind a thick poo or something when you can't find it ;P
