8 weeks, size of a raspberry
2. How are you feeling?
Really nauseated.
3. Any appointments this week?
No
4. Rants, raves, questions?
It's really hard to play and give attention to my kids when I feel so crappy. And we might be moving 20 hours away (Utah to Iowa) and I don't know how I will be able to do it.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday ticker change)
Usually Mexican. Right now I can't figure out what won't make me sick...
2. How are you feeling? Okay, tired and slightly nauseous.
3. Any appointments this week? May 16 is my next
4. Rants, raves, questions? It's was my husbands birthday yesterday. Is it acceptable to have ice cream cake for breakfast?
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change) .... well I'm currently going to go with ice cream cake.
BFP #1 April 12, 2017 EDD December 19, 2017
@MrsWifey89 Its ALWAYS acceptable to have ice cream cake for breakfast. Always.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
6 weeks! Baby is the size of a chocolate chip
2. How are you feeling?
Great one minute, really nauseous the next. Boobs are getting a little less sore. And I'm so so so so tired.
3. Any appointments this week?
None this week. My first Appt is next Monday! I can make it through this week NO PROBLEMO.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
My husband has been just an absolute rock star. Super supportive, really lovey, really calm. Feeding me and letting me get first pick on the tv. I keep giving him positive reinforcement so he knows how much that means to me.
I started to read some baby books, so that's getting interesting. Is it wierd that the thought of labor doesn't freak me out? I'm sure it'll be different in 6 months, but for now I'm very calm about everything.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change)
Mexican for sure. Give me tacos or give me death.
BFP #1 April 12, 2017 EDD December 19, 2017
2. How are you feeling?
Feeling pretty good this week.... Always hungry
3. Any appointments this week?
I have one on Monday
4. Rants, raves, questions?
My house is almost completely packed for our big move so hubby and I are sharing and air mattress with is killing my back and kinda causing my sciatic nerve to act up
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life?
Yogurt.... I could live off yogurt and be the happiest person
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
8 weeks- raspberry
2. How are you feeling?
Exhausted! I never thought I'd be so glad to hear my kids ask to watch tv...
3. Any appointments this week?
Not until the 30th
4. Rants, raves, questions?
My mom just retired last week and I'm happy for her, but in reality I'm more excited to have someone who can watch my kids when I have dr's appointments etc. I feel so selfish!
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change) That's hard! I think I'd choose pizza or maybe potato chips.
@MrsWifey89 what baby size did your app give you last week? Mine says blueberry this week (7 weeks), and that seems to be quite different in size from raspberry?
@breezybee I'm also a bit excited about labor at this point. Cool that you started on the baby books. I haven't dared to begin reading yet, but hopefully I will feel braver after my first appointment.
@SierraGood yuck, I hate it when I'm out of my own comfy bed. Fx that the move goes smoothly.
@jkresyman welcome to Sunday! I don't think you're being overly selfish about your mom's retirement. DH and I live so far away (like min 15 hours flight) from family, and it will be such a challenge, both for us to be without that support network, and also for the grandparents to only rarely be able see their grandkid.
@ktcramer8 I sympathize! Before I got pg, I thought 'what's the big deal with waiting until 2nd tri to tell people, I mean 1st tri has 2 bonus weeks, so it's less than 3 months!'. And now, I'm pretty much counting the hours to my next ticker change. The wait is so long!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 7 weeks, so some sort of blueberry
2. How are you feeling? Mostly good, but generally nauseous all day, in varying severity. No vomiting yet though, but constipation seems to have kicked in. Last week, I was telling DH that I was worried because I wasn't fatigued. This week, I've had to acknowledge that I sleep A LOT. Like 9 hours most nights, and if I lay down during the day, I often fall asleep. But I never feel fatigued! I guess I thought it would feel different than it does. And I'm also very fortunate to have an extremely flexible schedule.
3. Any appointments this week? Yes, finally. First appt is Friday afternoon. I'm both excited and dreading it (what if there's no heart beat).
4. Rants, raves, questions? I've heard that having a metallic taste in your mouth is a pg symptom, has anyone experienced this? I have this taste in my mouth all the time (when I'm not eating), not identifiable as metallic, but very distinct and not pleasant. It's kind of like that taste you get when you're fasting or juice fasting, if that's familiar to anyone. Trying to figure out what it is, and how to reduce it.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change). Bread, I guess. These days I do better not to think about food too much.
2. How are you feeling? ok, some heartburn and nausea occasionally. Mostly just tired (DD woke up at 3:30 am and then was ready to be up for the day at 6 am. UGH)
3. Any appointments this week? Yes! One on Friday--if the u/s shows the same dating as last time, I'll be jumping ticker change posts to a different day.
4. Rants, raves, questions? My DH was so awesome yesterday. I had to go to graduation in the morning (I'm a college professor), so he watched DD til I got back. Then I had a bit of a meltdown later b/c DD was not nursing well and screaming in my face and I felt like the house was a mess and I just felt like a failure. He got DD to drink a little formula and then when I left to go to a retirement party for a colleague, he put DD to bed and cleaned our living room, dining room, and kitchen. Is there anything sexier than that?
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change) Either chocolate or cheese. Or both, but not together
Married May 2014
DD born August 2016
Baby #2 due December 2017
8 weeks, raspberry (kidney bean, 2x2 LEGO brick)
2. How are you feeling?
Exhausted, grumpy, alternately bloated and starving
3. Any appointments this week?
Next week
4. Rants, raves, questions?
My husband is such a good guy! He's really stepped up with our daughter and the housework in the last couple weeks. He's on a business trip for a week next week and I don't know what I'll do without him.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life?
Fruit and cheese. Specifically apricots and Stilton
2. How are you feeling? Better this week..less dizzy and sick to my stomach
3. Any appointments this week? Not until the 24th. Can't wait to hear baby heartbeat. I've only seen it once on the US
4. Rants, raves, questions? My washer quit working this week. I had to take 8 loads of laundry to the laundromat myself. Worries me to be lifting that much but took my time and used my legs. It was quite the workout.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? Pizza!
Edited to correct myself. I just went back and checked & apparently I was a blueberry last week on this app. Which app are you using?
BFP #1 April 12, 2017 EDD December 19, 2017
2. How are you feeling? Nauseous and exhausted most of the time.
3. None
4. Raves. I'm sure I'm feeling early baby movements the last couple of days.
5. food that I could eat everyday? Nothing tbh. I'd get sick of it really quick.
6 weeks, size of a pommegranite seed.
2. How are you feeling?
Absolutely exhausted, the minute I sit down, im gone. Other than that, I'm feeling good.
3. Any appointments this week?
No
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Getting annoyed with certain people at work who I've informed im pregnant so that I am not over doing it, and still im doing all the moving and handling while they stand there and look gormless. Now every day I have work, ive got terrible back ache all eve
5. Food I could eat every day for the rest of my life?
CARROT CAKE...omg could eat some right now (dreaming of cream cheese frosting...mmmm)
2. How are you feeling? It's weird my symptoms have totally changed. The intense back cramping has been gone for a couple weeks. The nausea took its place, but this past week the nausea lessened.... and then came back again this weekend. It's like I always have a stomach ache and then I feel better once I eat but I can barely eat yet want tons of food other times. Confused lol.
3. Any appointments this week? Next is May 31 for the 12 week US.
4. Rants, raves, questions? My emotions in regards to actually being pregnant have changed already. It's weird! At first, I thought I was going to burst with the excitement of the secret. And I was checking all of my pregnancy apps MANY times a day to read anything and everything. Now, I feel like I'm not even pregnant sometimes and that I've been pregnant for soooo long. Next weekend we're finally telling people and for some reason I feel less pumped up for the reveal than the past weeks. I guess I wish I could fast forward to the next US so it could feel real again. I hate waiting.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? Just one, you say? Hilarious. Pizza, sushi, burrito bowls. Always have been my top 3, perhaps always will be lol. Can never get enough. I'd also eat Chinese every day if I could.
@sierragood i see that you are 10 weeks. is your dr having you do a prick test? i have to do one at 10 weeks but i dont know what the heck it is lol. she sent me home with instructions and something i have to send away.
@ktcramer8 i am loving your food list.
@camomile_june just saying... did u know there is a candle scent called "warm buttered bread"? i found it a couple years ago and hoard ordered a bunch of them lol.
also in general i'm seeing a lot of love for mexican food! favorite items??
2. How are you feeling?
Exhausted, nauseous
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant- When I look up "maternity" bras, they all double as nursing bras. I don't want to have clips on my bras quite yet, but need something more supportive and comfy than my normal bra.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life?
Right now- ice cream sandwiches. It will likely change tomorrow
Oh and I'm super craving sushi, its killing me that I can't have any. I'm tempted to figure out how to roll my own and make cooked rolls that I know are safe!
@AMCsquared I have an appointment tomorrow but no one has said anything about it yet.. If you get more info I'd love to know more about it.
2. How are you feeling? Mostly ok. Nauseous if I go more than a couple hours without eating. Fatigued. Sleeping a bit better though!
3. Any appointments this week? Yes! Wednesday is the first, fingers crossed!
4. Rants, raves, questions? SO many Q's about exercise.... Nervous about continuing to cycle/mountain bike even though I've toned it down quite a bit. I focus on breathing and being able to maintain 'a conversational pace'. Everyone seems to have a differing opinion on this. I love being outside and I know continuing exercise is recommended I'm just not sure how much is too much. I was really active before (racing, etc...) so I'm hoping just toning it down for the first trimester is ok. I plan to reevaluate 2nd trimester and stop completely 3rd. Only a stationary bike for me then. Also unsure about "boot camp" weekly workouts. There's another pregnant girl in there and she's had two babies while continuing under her Dr's care so I guess it's ok? I haven't been since I found out. I mean there's ab centric exercises, burpee's etc.. I guess I'll ask Wednesday, but every Dr is so different!
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change) Pho. Got my fix last night and it was wonderful
2. How are you feeling? My sinuses are killing me these last few days, and have been SUPER tired.
3. Any appointments this week? yes, 1st ultrasound Tuesday.
4. Rants, raves, questions? none
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? I love Mexican food. . . but everyday would get old!

@breezybee no ab work outs? i'm interested to hear what you heard. i heard you're supposed to continue them throughout in order to prep for when the abs separate from each other.
I welcome the restriction on ab workouts, though. I hate them
Married May 2014

Today feeling like crap
3. Any appointments this week?

4. Rants, raves, questions?
Today has been a rough day and last night was bad.... bathroom floor has been my friend. Told my husband today I need a comfy chair in the bathroom to sit on.
5. GTKY: what's the one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life? (Stolen from Friday and Saturday ticker change) = not sure.... nothing sounds to appetizing right now
