@LoveinDC @vflux33 - I'm a mild Star Wars fanatic (I read Star Wars novels instead of chick lit and have a select few graphic novels), and I'm def not offended if people don't like it. If it's not your thing, it's not your thing. Which leads me to my UO of the day....

UO: I hate football. More specifically, I hate football culture. I went to an SEC college. Everyone I know is obsessed with SEC football. If you don't like football where I live, people look at you like you just spit on an American flag. Here's the context: I never quite fit in at my college. While everyone else was having fun with groups of friends tailgating, I was wandering around aimlessly in the sun by myself because I didn't really have a group of friends. I feel like half of the people I know are unreasonably obsessed with a game (omg it's just a game!) and the other half of the people I know PRETEND to be obsessed with a game just to be like everyone else (honestly, not EVERYONE can like football). On my first date with DH he told me he didn't like football and I thought, "Finally! Someone who doesn't care if people know he doesn't like football!" I've actually had people tell me that me saying I don't like football makes people uncomfortable. What???? I don't like iced tea either but why should that make anyone uncomfortable?

  • I'll echo @vflux33 that summers in PNW are weird. We don't have AC and it gets miserable if the weather is hot. But I love summer, which seems to be a UO...
  • I have a tattoo on my ankle that I want removed or covered. It was a spur of the moment $30 tattoo and a place I didn't know by an artist I didn't know. It came out horrible and I hate it.

@sunniegrly - so I don't hate football, but I definitely hate the SEC-culture. I went to a Big12 school that became an SEC school the year after I graduated. I went to a few games here and there after the switch and I cannot stand the the SEC hoopla. I do not understand the dressing up! Guys wearing khakis and douchey shirts and girls wearing full makeup with their hair done and cute, color-coordinated dresses? It's an outdoor event, I just want to wear jeans or athletic shorts and a t-shirt! Thankfully the SEC will never be able to completely overpower our midwestern sensibilities here, but I still cannot stand it.

Maybe it's an UO, but I'd take east coast brusqueness over southern charm any day.

@sunniegrly I haaaaate football. But I really hate all sports and the fan cultures surrounding them. When I first met DH I thought he didn't like sports, but it turns out he just liked me a lot and wanted to do what I wanted to do back then. Fast forward and he watches football, soccer, golf, basketball and hockey, and he signs up for the sports channels that show the international games so there is literally never a moment without sports. Terrible. I got so mad about it 5 years ago that I started keeping track of how many hours we spent watching sports and he had to agree to spend an equal amount of time watching Grey's Anatomy. We watch less sports now.

ALSO re: Star Wars, my husband is covered in Star Wars tattoos, and I strongly suspect the primary reason he wanted to date me originally is because my parents worked on the movies.

    @antoto yas girl

[ETA: personally I do not care about Star Wars one way or another.]

    @lulu1180 A dude who doesn't like bjs??

@vflux33 Couldn't get off without a condom?? Interesting. Did he ever say why that was?

@LoveInDC Fun! Please share your ex related UOs or stories. I want to hear the good ones!

    I hate Star Wars. Hate.

I totally love giving blowjobs. (I mean, just to DH, to be clear.)

UO: I secretly hate any other forms of foreplay (except giving a good beej- as I said) and only entertain them because DH likes it.
    Kissing? Meh.
    Receiving oral? Snore.
    I've just never liked it.

  • @kbamomma33 I like giving DH bjs as well just because he enjoys them so much.  Also, how can you not love receiving oral????  I wish DH would give it more often!!!

  • *snip*

Fun aside, one of my girl friends recently told me she can ONLY orgasm if a guy comes inside her (sans condom). Like, what? Like, can't get off from oral sex, solo sex, anything. Just p in v with some s.
This just made me spit out my wine!  :D
  • @kbamomma33 yes! I'm the same way!! DH hates that I hate it but it just doesn't do it for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@vflux33 @lulu1180 Ooo can we keep this ex-SO theme going for FFFC? I have some good ones.
YES. I have an unrelated FFFC for tomorrow but in my view if 99% of FFFCs were either poop or sex related, that means it was a good Friday.

@sunniegrly I LOATHE football and MH doesn't like any spectator sports and to me that is the best thing ever if for no other reason than because we have all this time that *would* be going toward watching sports when we can do other things instead. @doxiemoxie212 That's hilarious YH lied about liking sports. He must've been really into you! But I totally disagree about orgasms just being orgasms--when I have one from oral it feels totally different to me than one from penetration. I'm not alone in that, right?

@mschanandlerbong1214 My advice if you really want to go forward getting it removed is go to a plastic surgeon and do NOT go to any places that advertise for removals and don't have a doctor. I did that at first because it was cheaper and they all had outdated lasers (which hurt more by the way) and you'll need more treatments to get something not totally removed (which makes it not cheaper). I recommend the laser called "PicoSure".

@Maggie1202 If you're in North Bay and have a referral for a RE (saw in your Newbie thread post) it is probably the same RE I'm going to! Let's PM  :)

@kbamomma33 I think he was really freaked out about getting someone KU and about STDs and that it got so ingrained in him that he couldn't forget that during sex. It was super weird though.

@vflux33 @LoveInDC IDK bruh, like, orgasms just feel good. If it takes longer, sometimes it feels more intense, but not all the time. Feels the same to me. I can also make myself orgasm via exercise (actually the first way I learned how to orgasm, and man did I have some great abs that summer before 7th grade), and that feels the same too! But I can only orgasm via clitoral stimulation. Like, I can orgasm from penetrative sex, but only if DH's pubic bone is rubbing my clit. So. IDK?

ETA: DH would probably like me to point out that he did not lie to me, I just assumed he did not like sports because he did not actively watch sports. You know what they say about assuming.
  • I agree with you @LoveInDC!!!  All orgasms are not created equal, it feels sooooooo much different depending on how it's done and what is involved

  • Alright, alright - the cheese stands alone lol

Question: Do you guys have to fantasize super hard to orgasm, though? Like, whether I'm alone, with DH, hands, mouth, vagina, whatever, I have to run through a fantasy in great detail in my head to get off. Are you guys more in the moment? I get too distracted if I don't focus focus focus. So maybe it's like, a scenario thing?
It depends. If I'm doing something sexy with DH, I can just focus on the idea of that and the stimulation. If I'm on my own, I run through a few scenarios to see what hits me. On the rare occasion I'm with DH and just not getting there because he's not hitting the right spots or I didn't warm up enough, I pull in some fantasy and think of dialog to encourage me along. But I do have to focus. If I break concentration to say something or consciously move, I usually have to start over.

@LoveInDC You beat me to it (no pun intended).

@doxiemoxie212 No, I don't fantasize. I have to be very much in the moment. If you can only orgasm from clitoral stimulation that makes total sense why it feels the same. I have both kinds and they are very different both in sensation as well as my physical reaction.
  • Totally agree with @lulu1180 and @LoveInDC that orgasms feel much different depending on the situation.

@doxiemoxie212 I'm with @vflux33 I have to be in the moment. If I think too much it will actually ruin everything!

  • I know I'm super late on this, but @doxiemoxie212 you definitely win the most unpopular opinion by saying all orgasms feel the same! I'm right there with @LoveInDC, @vflux33, @Cricket648, and @lulu1180 - I definitely experience different types of orgasms depending on the activity/libido/how long it's been/how inebriated I am/etc....
