has anyone felt their baby kick yet? I woke up this morning and shocked at the fact that my stomach was rock hard. Then I was sitting and felt something weird and shocked me but it was a split second thing. Not sure if it was my stomach growling or what but it freaked me out. First time mom here clearly. I'm 15 weeks. Anyone else felt their baby moving yet?
Hey there. I'm a stm and waiting to feel the babe, 17w1d along. I just felt something again in my abdominal muscle area. They're like twitches. Really odd so I'm gonna ask the OB tomorrow about it. They're like split second muscle spasms or something. Never felt it before.
But at 15 weeks they say it's very possible to feel something you'll know for sure as you get further along and it becomes totally obvious and unmistakable!

I had a day last week when it felt like someone had grazed a hand across my lower stomach (but on the inside)...very bizarre. I haven't felt that again....I think it was just the perfect combo of sitting in the right position and being perfectly still at the right moment. Later on that night I felt little tapping/bubbles popping but since then I haven't felt anything like those two movements.
I have been feeling random muscle twitches in the correct areas for the past 2 weeks but I'm still not sure if it's baby or just random muscle twitching! I'll feel a twitch that makes me feel confident that it was baby and then my calf muscle or my upper stomach will randomly start twitching (and we know baby isn't big enough to be kicking up there!) so who knows. Maybe I'm just having random muscle twitches!
I can't wait to be 100% sure that it's baby. Should be any day now....

3rd pregnancy here and 16 weeks, 5 days and I haven't felt anything. Getting a little anxious because I had felt DS(#2) by this point but just keep reminding myself that it's normal and it could happen at any day. I can feel my bump at this point, especially when I lay on my stomach but just no baby movement yet. And I can't wait. That my favorite part of being pregnant.
I have felt baby twice, I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow. I was so shocked when I felt it, but I asked my OB and she said that it was in fact baby I was feeling! It was like a popping, tapping feeling in quick succession, about 3 or 4 right in a row. Then the other morning after waking up from sleeping on my left side all night, I rolled onto my back & a minute later felt what was like a flop against my insides toward the left side of my bump - she said those are the two most common sensations this early, so it's definitely possible!
I'm almost 15 weeks with my second and have definitely felt movement..even with an anterior placenta. Didn't feel anything with my first until 20 weeks
STM . Felt some light taps/pops at 14+2 but nothing since then (after 1 week). First time my first kick was a solid clear kick at 16 weeks and nothing for 3-4 days.
STM at 17 weeks. I have felt this baby since week 15 on and off. I can't decide if this is actually earlier than with number 1, or if I know what to expect this time round. At this stage it feel like pressure vs. kicks. At least to me.
I have an instance last week where I laid down on my stomach and felt some strong movements from this little one that was more then the pressure feeling. She/he didn't like it one bit!
FTM i think i felt the baby once at 14 weeks, then nothing until this weekend at 17 weeks. It was unmistakable. Felt like she was punching a speed bag. Yesterday she must have flipped over or something b/c my entire stomach moved. So cool!
I'm a STM and 16+2. I felt very clear kicks a few weeks back, but nothing since. I'm pretty sure that I only felt it that time because of the way I was sitting. I was hunched over a table and basically folded in half. I know that it's normal but to have felt anything yet, but I felt DS kick by this time so it's making me a little nervous. I'll feel better when he/she is moving consistently.
I've been feeling some strange sensations.. almost like a deep muscle spasm in my lower abdomen. doesn't feel like kicks.. just a strange feeling overall... so faint that I can barely tell if I'm making it up or if it's really there. Then Saturday evening I was out at dinner and I felt 3 different times like something flopped over into the wall of my lower abdomen. I knew it was the baby and I bust out laughing because it was the weirdest sensation. Hasn't happened since but I can't wait to feel more!
@SwtAnana I have had the same experience. It felt like my uterus was twitching but I think it might have been a kick? Also, this morning i keep feeling a jabbing sensation on my left side... i'm not sure what that is. I can't wait to feel more kicks!
First pregnancy i didnt have anything definitive till around 22 weeks & DH couldnt feel till about 25 weeks. Anterior placenta last time and this time as well. I'm 17w4d and i've definitely had some flutters but nothing too crazy just yet. While it's my favorite part of pregnancy, it's also the most disruptive lol
I've been feeling my peanut move but very inconsistently. Some full body rolls and a few speed bag hits to my cervix. i feel her most often after I workout or after lots of movement. I am more in tune with the movements because this is the 2nd time around, but I doubt I would have missed the full body rolls so maybe this baby is more active? If so I'm in for an interesting ride.
STM 17w+1d. In the last 1-2 weeks I have felt some definite movement. It had been on and off. Most days i don't feel anything, but if i drink ice cold water, or maybe a morning coffee is when I felt it most. Or if I am laying srill in my bed. I felt movement with DD around 17-18 weeks even though my doc said it aas probably too early, but I knew what i was feeling was baby girl!
TTM here and I've been feeling little twitches and "bubbles" for a few weeks now, NOT followed by gas. That's how I know it's baby, LOL. These past few days, if I lay on my back/side and my uterus isn't contracted (hard) I'll sometimes feel a tiny little tap. I know for sure that's the little one!! And I can't wait til it starts happening more often!!

I'm definitely feeling "stuff" but can't be sure it's baby yet and not gas or other rumblings. STM, 16+5 and I they say should feel it sooner than with the first, which was 19w.
STM, 15w and nothing yet. I feel bubbles but fairly sure it's gas. Last time I started feeling movement at 18 weeks and once he started, he never slowed down.
STM and I haven't felt didly yet. And I can't remeber when I did with DD. (I'm not winning any mom of the year awards because I can't remeber anything) i do however have an anterior placenta and a little leftover beer belly so that's what I'm telling myself why I'm not feeling anything yet
STM 15 weeks and I'm fairly certain I have been feeling baby for the last few days. Last time I didn't feel movement until much later because I had the good ol' anterior placenta, but this time its so much earlier. It's not gas and its usually when I curl up on the couch or do something to make baby want more space.
I felt some fluttering while laying in bed right after I hit 16 weeks. Since then I haven't felt anything similar to that, but I've had moments what I can best describe as intermittent pressure in my lower abdomen (not gas). It comes and goes randomly-I haven't noticed a pattern. I have an OB appointment later this afternoon and I'll ask about it.
June 2017 Siggy Challenge: "You had one job to do!"
On ultrasounds, she's always busy in there, but I don't feel one freaking thing. *sigh*
Lol you will!! I was beyond shocked when I felt it and it's because I was still reading at work. It'll shock you and make you laugh and scare you and so many feelings all at once!
STM, felt baby pretty early around 13 weeks I think, flutters, nothing consistent though, until I turned 18 weeks which was Friday-, I have been feeling strong movements since Friday which is reassuring because I had started to worry after a long gap of nothing....Well called my Dr and was told I shouldn't really expect baby to move everyday until 20-24 weeks.
TTM and I've been feeling movement for a few weeks now. Nothing consistent though and it has been very light. I'm really only feeling her on the left side too. I feel like I've felt stronger movement and kicks/hiccups earlier with the boys so maybe she's just not as active. I remember the night before my AS around 20weeks my DS1 kicked hard enough to kick dads face when he was laying on my belly. So far I don't think anything on the outside is being felt at 17 weeks.
I think I've felt baby a couple times, but I'm not positive. But Monday I definitely had a sensation that I can only describe as my insides rolled over lol. And then there was a small bulge on the left side of my stomach, I'm 17weeks.
Has anyone had, or does anyone have, an anterior placenta? They say I should feel kicks later because of it, but would I feel hiccups or other flutters around the same time as non-AP?
I have an AP this time, didn't last time. With DD I felt kicks right before 18 weeks. With this one I've felt a few flutters but that's it. Asked the dr. about it today (as I assumed I'd feel kicks earlier being 2nd child) and she said that the AP would probably push feeling anything substantial until 20-24 weeks. Blah.
I had an AP with both my prior pregnancies, and I still felt movement with the first around 17 weeks, and second around 15-16 weeks. With my first, I felt like something was tapping on my insides. A nurse insisted that it wasn't possible for me to feel the baby that early, especially with an AP. But then at an ultrasound later that week I could see the baby kicking and I was feeling the same tapping sensation so I knew it was baby!
It's such a crazy big range for when people feel movement!
STM and 18+1. I've been feeling little movements here and there for a few weeks, but nothing consistent. Then yesterday, at DH's elementary track meet, I was assigned "cowbell ringer" to cheer on the kids as they reached the finish. Baby either loved or hated the loud ringing sound because it was doing somersaults over and over! I hadn't felt movement that strong yet so that was fun!
I'm 17w2d and can feel it rolling! I felt it for the first time at 15 weeks but it was very very faint and only when I was in curled up positions. It's gotten a lot stronger this week.
FTM 18w+4 i felt some movement around week 16 and had been feeling some movement like sensations in the last couple of days but wasnt sure, then when I went to yoga last night I actaulyl saw and felt my belly move with a kick during savasana! was a bit exciting
