So our big u/s is in two weeks. We do not want to know the sex of the baby and will tell the technician that. But my question is for those of you that have found out the sex...when you're getting the ultrasound and looking at the baby is it just obvious? If the baby spreads his/her legs and you get a view, can you see what's clearly there? Or did the technician have to point things out for you and then it made sense? Like if there's penis there, will I be able to figure that out on my own or did you need the technician to point things out for you??
For those of you that are 2nd time moms and are having the opposite sex now, when you had this u/s did you see a clear difference?
?
Re: Deciphering the sex
DS was a surprise. When they did the u/s they made it a point to stay away from that area. I could never see anything that looked like a penis. If you want it to be a surprise, they will be able to do a good job at making sure you don't find out.
