Small babies??

Anyone else out there have a tiny baby? I'm 38+1 and she is still measuring small...16-17th percentile. They did an ultrasound at 34 weeks and everything looked good, she was just on the smaller side. Just had appointment today and they want to do another ultra sound. I know it's just precautionary but still feeling anxious that something could be wrong.

@Knottie87920745 We've all been supporting one another through our pregnancies since September or so.  So to have you come in one week before May, creating an AW post & getting snarky when you don't get the answer you want... doesn't make us want to help you any more.
You could have started with the pinned posts up top, or posted in one of the threads already going.

Well first off we are not your doctor so we can't give you advise on your baby. Second, if anyone else was having small babies it's highly unlikely it would all be for the same reasons. So you should reserve these questions for your doctor....

If they said everything is good, I'd go with that. I'm not actually a Dr. so I cant say more. We do have some ladies here with some true concerns regarding babies size, but they're going off what their Dr. says in regards to it.

Hopefully your U/S will come back fine. If I had magical Dr. skills and xray vision I'd take a peek for you. Well, actually, I think I'd take a peek at my own baby because I was told it's measuring larger (but still totally okay!) and I want to know how large. Guess I'll see when it comes out...

Oh @Knottie87920745, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you have never really been on one of these forums, but you see, this is a community, where people have been getting to know each other pretty much for the last 8+ months since our BFPs. We know each other's stories and spend a good chunk of our time building relationships here.

Now imagine being at the park, or store, or OB's office, where there is a group of pregnant friends talking and you barge in and ask your question. Would you do that in real life? Probably not, right? Why? Because you would know it'd be somewhat inappropriate and it would earn you at least some funny looks, right? It's a little bit like that here. No one is trying to be rude to you, it's just simply strange to get some random person barging in and asking a random question when you have not even introduced yourself to us or taken any time (not even 10-15 minutes) to figure out how our community works.

That's not the way it works. Did you read my response? Also, the fact that you had 8 more replies than her in your history and that you also never introduced yourself or have ever provided any "support" to anyone else during your stay here doesn't put you in much of a better position.

@melonmug clearly you don't know how to lurk here either. I don't know how you two are so blind to the fact that if you scrolled down even just a little bit there's already a thread about growth restriction. If she had just done that then maybe she would get answers there. This is not the baby center for random posters.

Uh. I responded. So did several others. We have no effing clue though because we're not Dr's and each situation is probably unique.
