Thanks for the wishes of luck! There was just an empty sac yesterday so I'll have a D&C next week. This is our second round of IVF and second loss so I suspect there's underlying issues and that frightens me.

Hi everyone! Glad to see other IF ladies on here. I've been on other boards, but the experience is very different for people who have no trouble getting pregnant, I suspect.
It's so exciting that so many of your pregnancies are going well!
1) How far along are you?
I'm 6 weeks 0 days.
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Oh man, my boobs hurt. I've had a few days where I was totally physically exhausted, so work has been a little hard. But I'm excited to have these signs, of course! I've been a little nauseated in the morning this week, but not much.
3) When is your next appointment?
My 11dp6dt hcg was 256, and 13dp was 1001, so they are just doing my ultrasound in 1 week (7 wk, 0 days). I think my program does an ultrasound again at 11-12 weeks, too, before they send me back to the OB. Assuming everything is okay, but in this game, it's so hard to believe that I'm A) pregnant, and that it will actually be okay.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions
1) I had some light spotting last week after working in garden, the ER's office said "no biggie", and didn't even feel like they needed to see me. Has anyone else had spotting? Spotting and a successful pregnancy?
2) My husband is the only son/grandson to both sides of his family (his aunt and uncle never had kids), so there is an ENORMOUS amount of pressure to have children. So, you can imagine that my very low ovarian reserve, diagnosed when I was about 35, was a serious blow. They obsessively have watched whether I have a glass of wine at dinner for years now. 3) Any others using donor gametes? I'd love to have some friends who are thinking through donor questions, or have experience with donor gametes for previous pregnancies!
5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions?
My in-laws always do lunch or dinner at their place. They are religious, but I have to admit, my husband and I are not. I still like all of the candy and food, though!
@PennStateCait my heart is so broken for you, sweet friend. All my love.

@Marley629 I am staying on injectable progesterone until week 11-2, but I did IVF. I wonder if those that did fresh cycles of IVF, or that did IUI, do not need progesterone as long?
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Trying to stay calm. Last ultrasound showed a large SCH, which had caused a major bleed the week before. My doctor said he's not too concerned, but of course I'm worried. I'm still having dark brown spotting, and maybe actually increased today, but he said that's normal and possibly a sign of healing. I'm also very nauseous and tired. Off work for a few days though and happy for that.
3) When is your next appointment? May 9th. Will probably be our last RE appointment if all looks ok.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions Just happy to see some familiar faces and get to know some new ones!!
5) GTKY: Do you have a favorite spring flower? Love honeysuckles for the smell! Reminds me of being little.

@PennStateCait I am so sorry. We had underlying issues, when we did IVF, as well. Which is why we had to switch to donor sperm.
@khinca we are using donor sperm. Very strange path (for us) to donor sperm, our first reaction was NO, but we spent a lot of of time soul-searching and investigating every type of adoption known to man (really), and after speaking to a psychologist (about adopting embryos) and our pastor (about donor sperm), this is where we found ourselves! And it worked on the second IUI (so far).

I made an appointment with a real OB for the 12 week mark. I feel like I'm being so presumptuous, but the lady I wanted (my RE recommended and delivers at the hospital I like) seems to book out fast...
