As far as vaccine threads go, I agree that it's pointless because no one is going to change another person's mind. I will though gladly lurk on those waiting for the drama.
Re: vaccine threads - I agree that nobody's mind will be changed via an internet thread, but I do find that I learn a lot about both sides and collect more ammo for the rare in-person debate or for my local Facebook group whose decisions DO have the potential to impact my family directly.
I'm PGAL and have been quite cautious with foods as a result. So eating as much pig product as I did in the space of a couple of days felt like a huge leap...I also had a steak that wasn't quite as cooked as I ordered it. Oops. But it seems like I am in good company with you and @Swazzle@awildrose@sarahufl !
I've been way more relaxed about what I eat this pregnancy. I pretty much followed every list of foods to avoid during pregnancy with my first. Wayyyyyy more chill this time around.
So over the past week, I took it as an amusing personal challenge to piss one of my "friends" off so much on social media that she blocks me. Haha success. Way too much bull and insane amounts of drama = a fun goal for me
@beccam1230 ditto on the more relaxed this time around, especially with caffeine. So today I heated up my lunchmeat for my sandwich til it steamed, and then to counter that, I had Mello Yello, bugles and a star crunch for dessert.
Wait we are not suppose to be eating tuna?! I'm having a little now in pasta salad. Granted it's my first time in years. Oooopppppps
I cannot go commando for the life of me but I wear thongs like 110% of the time.
another FFFC: I usually don't care what people do with their lives but I almost lost it on a Mom while leaving Walmart. She has a child (less than 18m) in a stroller and she was 7/8 months pregnant and she was chain smoking while waiting for a cab while kneeling down to talk to child in stroller blowing smoke in her face. I don't care how addicted you are to smoking, I wanted to have those kids taken away. I was so ANGRY.!
My FFFC.... I side eye anyone who sees a girl, pregnant or not, chasing her little dog down the neighborhood obviously calling and in distress over her pet having a freedom jaunt, and they just stand there and look. The little dog wanders over and sits down in front of you! And she yells, Grab his collar please! And you just continue to stand there, and the dog, not getting pet, gets up and continues to go on an adventure.
Help a girl out, people!!!!
I know people are scared of dogs. But for the love of God. If the (small) dog sits in front of you looking to be pet, is there nothing you can do? I side eye the shit out of you cruel people. And I will talk about you to my Internet friends. Sorry not sorry.

@mrs_tacos I eat chunk tuna canned every few weeks and I was under the impression it was ok. I also read something recently from the fda that said pregnant women are taking fish recommendations too far. We should be eating a few servings of fish a week and it's estimated that pregnant women are having one serving a week at best.

This. My doc told me two cans per week was ok
Thank you, my doctor told me the same thing. I love tuna salad, those little bumble bee snack cans are so good
I can't stand tuna. Not even the smell. *hides in shame*

I've done that too. I'll type it, then think "well now you just sound like a bitch..."

Yes!!! So glad I'm not alone. I can eat a tuna steak or sushi tuna, but have never been able to stomach the canned stuff. My parents loved it when I was growing up and it always just grossed me out.
I've done that too. I'll type it, then think "well now you just sound like a bitch..."
Yep!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this.

At my appointment today my Dr told me steak only needed to be cooked to medium or more. Well done, according to him, is not mandatory. I thanked him for the good news!

@sugargirl1019 did this happen AGAIN? or is this residual resentment from earlier this year? (no judgement if you're still a little bitter about it.....I would be)

@sugargirl1019 omg! and you're actually visibly pregnant this time! (unless you were wearing baggy clothing...in which case maybe they didn't purposely not help a pregnant lady) but still, help a girl out!
cute little rascal puppy! it's a good thing you love him so much

I am once again late, but add me to the commando group with eggings and yoga pants. I also go commando in skirts and dresses. I should probably say I usually wear maxi skirts or longer dresses. No chances of flashing.

Late to the party, but I did something flame worthy today.
DS (he's 2) came in to our room at the asscrack of dawn today, and in my half asleep-half awake trance I noticed that he was eating jelly beans off the carpet. From Easter... and I probably didn't stop him as urgently as I should have. Flame away.
Also, on the topic of dogs, I absolutely hate the smell of my hands after I pet a dog. And the fact that like their weird skin dust or fur crumbs or something like leaves a residue. So pretty much every time I pet a dog, I have to like immediately wash my hands.
Re: FFFC 4/21
I also love the drama...
I forget who it was yesterday who said they can never come up with a UO until after reading everyone else's, but that's how I feel about FFFC.
