Nothing brings a BMB together like discussing vaccines. Will you be vaccinating your baby?
Edit: TB posted before I was done.
option 3 is obviously no to vaccinations.
let's hear what you have to say.

Yes. Give us all the Vaccines!
Yes, but spreading them out.
Re: POTD: Vaccinations
AFM - Yes, please give my baby vaccines that prevent unnecessary pain, suffering and potential death.
We just had a mumps outbreak across the border in Washington. Parents here can opt out of vaccines for 'philosophical reasons' (in addition to religious and health exemptions) so we have a lot of under and unvaccinated children in our school district. Makes me crazy!

A woman at my work recently told me to not vaccinate my baby bc autism is scary. I responded with so is polio.
Wrong shots, same concept. Everybodyyyy!
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
I can't even...
People who will be close to baby have had whopping cough, meningitis, and other things you can get vaccinated for. I've seen the pain those people have gone through when they had their outbreak and will do what I can to prevent baby from having to go through that.
I have not seen enough proof to convince me the vaccines will do anything than cause temporary pain/shock from the shot and that little prick is worth avoiding the diseases to me.
JUNE... ATTTTTACCCCCKKKK. Seriously though... how do we not have one anti-vaxxer among us? Quick, someone ping momofboys and we'll start a "preferred sex of the baby" poll.

That said, I will wait until the very end of my hospital stay or maybe my first pediatric appointment to get the first dose of hep b administered. I don't like putting a brand new baby through more pokes than necessary, and that one isn't (for me) actually time sensitive like vitamin k or the newborn screen potentially are.

I disagree with the choice to not vaccinate your kids. I have friends and family members who have chosen not to, but I don't get in arguments with them about why they're wrong even though I think they are. But at the end of the day, it's their choice, and I'm glad we live in a free country where we don't have medical procedures forced on us.
