Roman & Athena

DS is Roman and DH & I are swooning over Athena. Our only hesitation is the worry that it might come off a bit themey. In the end I don't think we care too much and we certainly don't give the opinions of people IRL much weight. I would like to know what you think of the 2 as a sibset though?

I don't see why they are matchy. One is a Greek God and the other is after an Italian city. 

Some other Greek girl names to consider: Eleni, Phaedra, Helena, Daphne.

I'm sort of torn? I don't like them together, but I don't know if it's because they are themey or because they aren't​ themey enough (Roman mythological Pantheon is not just the Greek Pantheon with different names. Things are similar but there a tons of differences)

Sooooo. I'd uh say it's okay to mix, but I'd avoid goddess names. Unless it's Eris.

My initial gut reaction is that they are definitely too themey.

Although after reading PPs comments, they're not as themey when you really break it down

I don't side eye themes. I actually think it's kind of cute, especially when each name is lovely as is Roman and Athena. Good choices.

Both make me think of 6th grade history class so even though they technically don't match they feel like they do.
