I skipped lunch yesterday just to see what would happen and it actually got worse. I'm so much better today! I'll be making up for that missed lunch *Chick-fil-a is calling*
Exhaustion, killer heartburn, lower backache, headache, and I'm still breastfeeding my almost 13 month old and we've had some painful moments. I have had some nauseous-ness and threw up once. I had HG with both of my boys so I'm bracing myself
I had major food aversions and I knew before I tested I'd be pregnant - food aversions, especially to meat, are always my first symptom! I'm also going to the bathroom a lot and very tired. This fourth pregnancy is hitting me early!
@vvitchhazel & @vauxthekate I totally peed on another today too. yesterday I sent DH a pic of the original one... and hes like "well it's pretty faint... you should do a few more"... DONT HAVE TO ASK ME TWICE! hahaha pee on all the things!
This was me all weekend..... really bad! lol My DH told me to stop peeing.... maybe I will stop after my second beta! lol
symptoms... I've actually pretty much thought I could be pregnant the whole time.... The main symptom for me though was insomnia. I can fall asleep ok, but cant seem to get through the night... not just because I have to pee either... just woke up both exhausted and wired.... almost every day since a day or so after transfer. That with mild vertigo, sore boobs (comes and goes) cramps (comes and goes except the early sharp ones after transfer) and lots of dark veins in my boobs and groin made it more and more clear.
I've got tender breasts, and a heinous mood. No real nausea or anything, which was making me nervous but looks like there are many without nausea yet so that's comforting.
@kbamomma33 I have also had some legit cramps. I went down the Google rabbit hole, but no spotting/not unilateral makes me feel a little better.

Oh man! Yeah, stay out of that Google rabbit hole! I know, the struggle is real. I'm glad you are feeling better and not stressing too much right now though!
@kbamomma33 I actually went to the ER for cramps because I was paranoid of another ectopic. The receptionist said that she sees a lot of newly pregnant women worried about cramps. That made me feel better and a but overreactive at the same time.

You poor thing. I mean, given your history, it's totally understandable that you were worried. It's good that you went and got seen and left with some good, concrete information. I'm all about consulting with medical professionals in lieu of google for pregnancy related concerns. It's better to be safe than sorry and call your OB line or go in and be seen somewhere if you think something is wrong, for sure. I'm pretty sure I called my OB weekly for one reason or another with DD. (I had some previous health issues that were feeding my concerns at the time.) Thankfully, they were always really gracious and helpful and didn't side eye my concerns.
Anyone having lightning crotch already?? Like, I know my baby is as big as an apple seed, but I totally felt it last night while I was trying to sleep! I had it with DD, but I'm pretty sure that she was much bigger. WTH cervix.......
Yesterday we did a walkathon at work, and we did some warm ups and stretching before and after. But on the walk back to my office I ended up feeling a little sharp pelvic pain, it stopped me in my tracks for a couple seconds. Thinking it was just some normal stretching and pulling going on. Everything seems fine.
Just been so tired! Went to bed last night with no dinner because I was so tired I wasn't even hungry.
For all the ladies mentioning chickfila-my problem is that there are too many chickfilas near by. I need to STOP going there but it's so good...!
Little background... last month we had a cp on March 3, low and behold we are pregnant again and I tested positive on March 31st, with an edd of 12/08 (according to March 3rd date). So I went in for a Dr. appointment today and should be 4weeks 5days today.
Well he did an ultrasound and didn't see anything but said our dating could be off because of the cp. so he sent me for a quantitive lab work today (testing again sat.) but also sent for a first check test and numerous others. I think they took like 8 blood things lol. But also gave me an order for an ultrasound to go with the first check blood work. So I guess I'm confused because he brought up that the reason they didn't see anything could be either too early, not a viable pregnancy, or eptopic/tubal. I also won't get my labs back until Monday....
Hello ladies!! I have a question about Epsom salt. Can you use it or not when you are just soaking in a tub?! So the box said to ask your doctor before using if you are pregnant. Now I'm thinking this warning might not be for soaking but for the laxative that you can make but I'm not 100% sure. So I'm asking if anyone else had asked there OB about this product because I don't see mine till the end of the month and I don't want to just call in for this but I do really want to take a bath with Epsom salt, lavender and chamomile! Anyways I will wait till my appointment if I have to but just wondering if anyone else knows ? To tell you the truth I'm almost positive i used it in my last pregnancy ( nothing bad happens to me or my child that I know of) but I can't remember.
I never did Epsom salt baths when I was pregnant with DD, but I believe that some of my friends used them while pregnant to help with swelling. I think that, generally, if you aren't high risk or anything that it's considered fine to do. I don't think it's unreasonable to put in a quick call to your OB line to double check and make sure that it's ok for your specific situation though.
@kbamomma33 Thanks...... I do hate calling but I guess this would be a quick phone call and possibly easy one for them. Better safe than sorry. After I call them and get an answer I'll post it !
Pink flamingo (can't figure out how to tag you??) My midwife actually recommended Epsom salt baths in my last pregnancy. Epsom salts are magnesium which most women are deficient in, especially in pregnancy. Personally, I will be having them regularly throughout this one!
@kvacmak it's because I have a space. I'm going to have to change it when I get a chance. Thanks for letting me know what your midwife recommended .... I'm looking forward to taking my Epsom salt baths !!!! Assuming my OB won't have a problem with it .
I just realized my pest control company is coming to my house tomorrow morning to spray outside and inside. Ants, roaches, mosquitoes and other bugs start getting really bad this time of year in SW FL. Should I be worried about being exposed to the chemicals? It is safe for my pets. Maybe I should at least leave the house while they spray?
So far the only symptom I had was last weekend, a week before my BFP, I got a metallic taste in my mouth on three different occasions. First when I tasted my coffee in the morning - it was so bad I had to spit it out. Then when I was eating granola, and the next day the cheese on my pizza both smelled and tasted really weird. It hasn't happened again in the past week so I'm not even sure if it was a symptom. I'm actually really looking forward to having some real symptoms to help confirm this is actually happening.
I'm 34, SO 39 TTC since July 2015 Unexplained infertility - delayed/weak ovulation but don't know why BFP Feb 2016 MC at 6.5 weeks Started Clomid November 2016 BFP March 2017 (third cycle on Clomid) HCG failed to rise, MC at 6 weeks. IUI July 2017 BFP which turned out to be CP IVF scheduled for Feb 2018
@vauxthekate I would also mention to them that you are pregnant when they get there and ask about what kinds of chemicals they are spraying and if they are safe for kids/pets/pregnancy. My pest control company sprays DD's playroom, around all her toys, when they do our house. I asked them about the chemicals the first time and they assured me that they only use organic or nontoxic synthetic pesticides that are safe for kids, pets, etc. I think most pest control companies have moved towards that now anyways.
TL;DR Ask your pest person about chemicals. They might be totally fine and NBD for you to be around.
@vvitchhazel@kbamomma33 Thank you. They actually just called me because the Tech is sick so they had to reschedule for next Thursday. I asked them about the chemicals and they assured me they were organic etc. I'll still probably take the dog for a walk while they are spraying inside just to make myself feel better!
Sigh. I'm spotting. Just barely, I don't need a liner and I can only tell when I wipe. But this is day 5 so I'm at my OB this morning to start running bloodwork. My luteal phase temp was pretty low this cycle so I'm thinking maybe a progesterone issue.
