Changed diaper before feeding, blowout 10 seconds later. Thanks Molly.
Also im a bad mom - I have to feed every 3 hours but I let her sleep 4 before waking her up. Pretty sure I could have gotten another hour or so out of her. Cross our fingers she's up to birth weight tomorrow so we don't have to keep waking her up. This momma wants to sleep too.
Ugh! @mecoats I'm sorry! Don't feel guilty. One hour isn't gonna do much except have a happier more rested mama that can take even better care of her baby! Grow Molly, grow!
So, I feel like there was a discussion some time ago about tv shows to watch. I will admit I don't watch a lot of mainstream tv, but a lot of my favorites are starting this month. Fear Thy Neighbor, Better Call Saul, Fargo, House of Cards, Obsession. Truthfully, I've been lame lately and rewatching The Office for the millionth time.
Thanks @kjd291! It felt great to have the extra hour
also @Spartanrd4 DH and I totally watch the leftovers. And we are sooo into Better Call Saul.
@disneybaby84 I'm watching One Tree Hill for the millionth time. Once done with that I have several other Netflix suggestions that I will potentially dive into.
I put my 2 week old daughter down for tummy time today and she rolled over onto her back! I thought it was a fluke so I put her back on her tummy again and 15 seconds later she had flipped over onto her back again!! This is way too soon, cue the mommy waterworks!
Random fact about The Leftovers: I graduated from college with Carrie Coon who plays Nora. I took a theatre class my sophomore year and one of our assignments was we had to watch the school's production of A Midsummer's Nights Dream. Carrie was in it and I swear I remember thinking to myself that I could see her as a real actress and now she's famous!
How is my 20 month old already transitioning into 3t clothes?! Where's my baby?!?
Per usual: same here! Literally JUST complaining that 2T are basically the same size as the 24mo ones she's grown out of (stupid sizing) so I've got to do some 3T shopping
So I took both of my boys out to old navy this afternoon and got a flat tire in the parking lot we were out for 3 hours waiting for the tow truck then my SIL to pick us up to bring us home. Then the dealership where it had to be towed can't change the tire until Monday as they don't have it in stock. Then when we got home I realized I didn't have my house keys or garage remote. Then I realized I had left the dog out in the backyard (fenced) while we were gone. It has been an unvelievable day... it can only get better right?
Aw @korpisar what a rough day!!! I'm so sorry! What a nightmare. The day will get better. Silver lining: atleast you know you can handle so much wth 2 kiddos?
Feeling loved that you dreamt about us @kjd291! Love that there's wine in the dream!
I went to the park today, saw a woman in athletic clothes looking super fit with her kid and I said to myself, that must be what @triwellnessgirl looks like.
OH MY GOODNESS @disneybaby84 !!!! You just TOTALLY made my freakin year!!! HAHA... thank you!!! (Especially since earlier this week a Target cashier asked me if I was Evie's GRANDMOTHER!!!!!!!)
I'm just catching up here but @kjd291 your dream is so funny!!
@datalover13 I also hate talking on the phone, haha!
Only our 2nd day home today after 9 days in the hospital but this morning I made coffee and oatmeal ( well OK it was instant oatmeal) one handed while holding DS! Win! Feeling very mom-like.
Checked my Fitbit sleep data... Haven't had more than two hours consecutively for... Awhile. I don't like taking naps, so I haven't taken one since Atti was born, and unfortunately coffee does nothing to wake me up. I'm struggling today... Almost enough to consider a nap.

I'm not a napper either! Everyone told me once kid two arrived I'd become one/but nope! Not good at falling asleep-even if I'm exhausted. Feel like I'm wasting precious time. And-hate that where am I and what time is it feeling of waking up!
@triwellnessgirl I can't believe someone asked you that! 1- you do not look old enough to be a grandma and 2- it's just a weird thing to say in the first place!
@datalover13@kjd291 I am not a napper either but man I sure wish I was!!! DH can nap anytime anywhere....But then again he can also sleep through the baby crying and me waking with her 5x a night!
I'm a terrible napper... by the time I fall asleep it's time to get up.. or I just lay there the whole time. According to my mother I gave up naps at 18months old
First day home from the hospital. First diaper change here earlier tonight and DH & I started working on it together. About halfway through I felt like I had fluid starting to come out & I thought I was passing a blood clot. All of a sudden I felt liquid down my legs & realized I was peeing uncontrollably... like EVERYwhere! I made it from the baby's room through the hall & into the bathroom peeing like crazy the whole way. So I got to clean all the carpet after & I'm pretty sure I've never seen DH look as horrified as he did when we realized I apparently have no bladder control postpartum.
Oh my goodness @serenity13 !!! Our bodies are just really not the same pp I experienced a little bit of that while still in the hospital & it freaked me out. I've tried doing kegel exercises while being home and I've noticed I'm much weaker. Need to continue working on that.
The worst for me has been how challenging it is to poop I sit on the toilet FOREVERRRRRRRR & I think I'm pushing poop out but many times I am not. Feels like a rock sticking out of my butt that won't drop it's not painful or itchy or anything like that.... Justfeels like poop that won't drop no matter how much I push. Annoyiiiiiing

@serenity13 that happened to me in the hospital -- I had NO idea what was happening and that it was pee at first. I didn't come close to making it to the bathroom and just peed allll over the floor. And my husband was similarly horrified although he tried to act like it was nbd.
In retrospect, I feel like 90% of my pregnancy / delivery / postpartum experience for my husband was him just watching the craziest stuff he'd ever seen in his life and trying to pretend it was not absurd. Which I appreciate...

@longliveregina not mean at all haha I found it funny yesterday even as it happened, although I was shocked more than anything.
We survived our first night at home!!! It was rough & I didn't get any sleep till about 4 when DS finally let me catch a break for about 2 hours, but whew! One down & everyone's still alive, I count that as a success! Our dog seems to be jealous/confused/scared - hoping he'll adjust better as the days go on, I feel bad for him that he doesn't understand what's going on. When the baby cries the dog gets extra concerned & comes over wanting to get close & tries to lick him.
