Not gonna lie. Since this is my last official week in my current position since I got promoted I have done noticeably less work for the department I am going to be leaving.
Now my coworkers are all looking at me like this:
I'd like to say that I feel bad. But I totally don't.
Mine is DD and I have literally done nothing the past two days except watch movies and cuddle.
I guess since she's been a little sick it's not that bad, but I kinda feel terrible for melting my child's mind.
Also, my sister in law is in an association where they are trying to set up a beauty pageant. I always said I would never do that to my kid, but now I am seriously thinking about it. She's still too young at 3, has to be 5, so I have a couple years to decide.
I mean.. I did them when I was that age and I turned out alright. I just found this picture today looking for another photo..
I took the day off work so to stay home with DS (no babysitter today). Then my parents called and said they came home from vacation early so they can watch him if I want. I accepted. I still decided to stay home (even though I have a crap ton of work to do). Right now I'm sitting on the couch watching Netflix and eating puppy chow.

"I'm having fruit salad for dinner. Well, it's mostly just grapes, actually. Ok all grapes. Fermented grapes. Fine, I'm having wine for dinner."
@mrsmarygs we didn't have any DD here until literally a couple weeks ago when one opened. I went there on Monday and got a strawberry donut and iced coffee. I liked it! I especially liked how inexpensive it was. Cheap coffee makes me happy when I'm a SAHM.
@mrsmarygs usually I'm on top of it every Friday but I was so enjoying the morning because DS finally slept all night in his own bed. From 9-7:30!!!! Plus I'm two hours behind you so it's only almost 9 here (: adorable picture of you two!
@labby18 I'm sad about that too.... I've been waiting for someone to come back after making that comment about my husband problems but no dice! Although that tdap thread did get pretty juicy lol
I took my shoes off at work and put my feet up. Probably unprofessional, but my office door is closed. I'll put my shoes back on whenever I need to get up.

I used to do this all the time when I was working. I hardly ever had to walk anywhere.
My FFFC: I don't think carawasa's post is super flame worthy. I can totally see where it could be a trigger for some, but I don't think it was meant to stir the pot, just a little ill advised.
Also, @carawasa you had that small clot in February, do things look good now?

Thanks lady! I think you're a plus size mama too, right? It makes me happy we are more open about or weight than others. Rock on mama!
Everything turned out to be ok, thanks for asking!
Oh Cara, with respect, relax. You got way sassy on the other thread, and that's how you burn bridges. This is an amazing group of supportive women. You just asked a sensitive question. Again, with support and respect, if you want to remain a welcome part of the board, I suggest you just apologize for inadvertently stepping on feelings.

then go to the plus size thread. i'm plus size, but guess what...i don't need to ask that question to compare myself to others because I track my weight gain, and my doctor told me at my 1st appointment and my 2nd appointment how much I should be gaining. I actually have lost weight, but my response about my weight may upset someone else. Sure you might be ok with talking about your weight, but some might not. It's about being a supportive and respectful community, so don't post threads that can be posted in an already existing thread that can make people uncomfortable. If you feel like plus size mamas are more open about it, then post there! you just solved your own issue! Oh and there have already been a couple people who have posted on a symptoms or random thread with what apps they use to track their weight gain. Use the search option.

My confession pertains to yesterday's UO conversation.
I'm a secret Dunkin lover.
Bonus picture: My adorable DH and I on our way to work this morning. Isn't he so handsome!

@Msashley2010 isn't that what you're suppose to do? Enjoy it. It's Friday!
