1. Anything new this week?  
nothing baby related, but i had jury duty and was picked to be on a trial. it was crazy! you really see people's true colors during deliberations...

i should hear about my blood test results any minute now. i will know the sex as soon as i pick up that phone call!

I'm here!

1. Anything new this week?  Not really. I had to tell my principal because I overheard a few of my students gossiping about me possibly bring pregnant, so I figured it was time. 

2.  Anyone find out if it's a boy or girl yet with early screenings/tests?  They don't offer those tests here, so I won't be able to find out until later. AND, my hospital won't tell you at your 20 week scan, so I'll have to pay out of pocket at a private clinic :-(

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit?  We don't travel much, but I've chaperoned two trips to Europe and my favorite place ever is Florence.

1. Anything new this week? I am going to share the news with some people at work. My boss and her boss are the only ones that know so far. It'll feel good to get it off my chest! At 14 weeks (today) I have a feeling I won't be able to "hide" it for too much longer.

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit? I don't travel much so don't have a favorite place but we went to Japan last year and def plan on going back in a couple years. 

@shan24 that stinks that the hospital won't tell you at the 20 week scan and that you have to pay out of pocket!

Anything new?  I finally stopped throwing up this week. I was 10 weeks on Friday. I'm hoping I start to get some energy back because looking after my one-year-old all day is killing me! 

 Have a found out if it's a boy or a girl? No not yet. I wasn't aware that there was early testing that you could do but I will probably just wait until my 20 week scan, I'm excited but not in a rush for any particular reason. 

 Favourite place to visit?  Treasure beach on the south coast of Jamaica. It's totally off the beaten path in a little fishing village in Jamaica. My husband and I went there six years in a row and then got married there the year before we had our son.  We hope to make the adventure with the kids once our second baby is about a-year-old. It's the most relaxing place on earth !

1. Anything new this week?  Had screening last week and they threw in a 3D scan of our little jelly bean. Next OB appt is tomorrow. I'll be 13 weeks this week. 

2.  Anyone find out if it's a boy or girl yet with early screenings/tests?  We don't want to find out what we're having. Just anxious to get the results of the screening. 

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit? I like to see new places. I'd like to travel more, but that might take a while.

2.  Anyone find out if it's a boy or girl yet with early screenings/tests? I don't get my screening blood work done till 4/13, so I won't know for a while.

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit?  Any great beach! I'd love to visit so many European countries, so far I've only hit up Italy, but I'd go back for sure!

1. Anything new this week?  Nausea seems to come and go still, definitely a change from previous pregnancies.  Wish it would just go so I can eat what I want to eat.  lol

2.  Anyone find out if it's a boy or girl yet with early screenings/tests? We found out were having a girl with our genetic testing.

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit?  I'd love to go some where, any where tropical!

@kdel921 I know!  I guess it has something to do with people getting upset if baby isn't in the right position to see the sex and insisting that the tech keep trying, thereby wasting time they could be using to see other patients. I live in a small town and there's usually only one tech on at a time. Plus, I shouldn't be complaining. A $150 charge for a non-medically necessary procedure when literally everything else during my pregnancy is free isn't so bad, I guess.

@shan24 Ah okay. I guess that's understandable and $150 isn't too bad esp if that's the only cost during your pregnancy.

1. Anything new this week?  I was released from my RE to my OB this past Friday. I have an ultrasound coming up this Thursday to check on the two subchorionic hematomas I have, then I go in Friday morning for the Panorama blood draw.

2.  Anyone find out if it's a boy or girl yet with early screenings/tests?  Blood being drawn on Friday. Does anyone know how long the Panorama results take to come in?

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit?  I live in Michigan and there's a city called Oscoda that sits on Lake Huron that we go to every summer--love that place I also love Anna Maria Island in Florida.

1. I am 10 weeks now and did an ultrasound on Tuesday and went to OB which was very reassuring so I've started telling people. had a borderline test result so have to inject fragmin (anti-clotting) for whole pregnancy so that sucks but best to be cautious....also I  have a bump now!

2. Haven't done screening test yet - waiting another 2 weeks. Doing the harmony test.

3. fave place to visit - so many! New Orleans and Thailand

@lola4411 - Jury duty can be interesting!  I got picked for a jury once but after a couple days they settled out of court.  Yours sounds like you got to see a whole lot more!!
 
@shan24 - Guess it was time to tell you principal of students were already thinking it!  Or, guess they made it time to tell, even if you weren't quite ready!


1. Anything new this week?  I told my principal a week and a half ago (contracts were being given out) and told our families.  They wondered why we waited so long, but some of them really, really like to talk!!
I'm also thinking of switching to a birth center with all midwives, so I stopped by for a tour this past week.  

2.  Anyone find out if it's a boy or girl yet with early screenings/tests? We'll find out at the end of May.  

3. GTKY - favorite place to visit?  The mountains, the spot I went to camp at along Lake Erie, and Africa (if money were no object!!).

lindsayfairlamb Not 100% sure. I think it's 7-10 working days. Good luck! We're getting the Panorama test next week.

@lindsayfairlamb, I'm pretty sure it's in the area of 10 business days.  Some labs may be faster, it all depends on where they ship it to.  It feels like the longest 10 days ever!
