Hey All,
   I started a new thread since our last one got closed  Guess we can't post our tests...whoops.  Here is my update:

 I got my third beta.  It's 2,059!  Progesterone 98.29 and Estradiol is 816!  Tomorrow I go in for an ultrasound to see how many implanted and the sac placement.  Ahhhh this is so surreal.  Can I ask a REALLY dumb question...is it still a vaginal ultrasound??  lol it's fine if you laugh, but I have no idea and don't wanna look like an idiot!  Thanks

Got the official word from blood test, no pregnancy.  Devastated but prepared myself for this yesterday :-(

@LoveDontCostAThing So excited for you!  Good luck with your US - I don't know from experience but from reading I think the first early one is vaginal one like monitoring appointments and you don't have the abdominal one until its time to see/hear the heartbeat.  Keep us updated!

Hello Ladies,

This is my first time posting on the boards and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Amaryllis and I'm 30 years old. I have been diagnosed with Empty Sella Syndrome. Empty Sella syndrome is a rare disorder that occurs when an empty space in the brain fills with cerebrospinal fluid which causes the pituitary gland to becomes compressed against the walls. Basically, my pituitary gland is squished in my brain and doesn’t send signals to my body to produce enough hormones. I knew that I would need to do hormone treatment to become pregnant.

My husband and I started our journey last December 2016. I started with one Menopur 75iu injection and the doctor increased it to 2 vials (150 iu) a day for 3 weeks. My estrogen level was not responding and he shortly canceled me. I was very devastated but kept my hopes up.

On March 17, I started the Menopur injections again but with 3 vials (225iu). The process has been slow but my estrogen level is finally responding! I go back on Wednesday for another ultrasound & blood work to see if any follicles have grown (currently 8mm follie RS & 6mm follie LS).

I’m happy to have found a place where I can learn and share my experience. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Thank you everyone!!!  It still feels surreal!  @thothscribe81 -I am so sorry for your news  I am happy you tested before to mentally prepare yourself.  After my first BFN after a FET I knew I needed to test prior to prepare also.  Either way, it's not easier, and I am thinking of you.  Will you do another cycle?

@AC93639 -welcome!  You might want to post on the March IVF board  We are happy to have you here either way though!

Hi ladies, jumping here too from the March FET thread. I had my first FET from my 2nd IVF and now in the TWW. They were cruel and scheduled my beta a full 2 weeks after the 5d transfer. So of course I did start testing and got the faintest line at 5dp5dt, but I can't get my hopes up yet because I had a hcg shot 10 days prior that may still linger. I'll test again tomorrow on a Frer. 

On a separate note, I need to go buy new jeans because since my IVF meds I gained almost 10 pounds and they stayed on. That's so odd because I've always been on the low side of a healthy BMI and now this. Ugh. 

Good luck to all of us here, let the BFPs continue to roll in.

@LoveDontCostAThing thanks for creating the new thread!!! And wahoooooooo. So very excited for you that is wonderful news! I got my second beta back today (17dpiui) at 766 now I'm scheduled back for my US on April 10th! No bloodwork in between. They said to just continue my progesterone and vitamins and no sexy time. Lol. I also asked today when they start counting the weeks ( wasnt sure if it was different with IUI) and the nurse said around the first day of my last period....does your dr do it the same way? Or is that the way it is done, or is everyone's case different?

@LoveDontCostAThing OMG! Those numbers are great! I hope I follow in your footsteps! My next beta is Wednesday....I am so nervous but very excited to see how my numbers are doing. Also, thanks for starting a new board. It is just so odd that we had the board for so long and they just suddenly took it away for a couple of pictures. I wonder if someone has to complain about it? I never saw anyone ask to not see the HPT's.

@thothscribe81 ugh, so sorry to hear about your negative. Even though you had an idea going in, it's still devastating to have it confirmed. 

@ShyTonia yay for a great second beta! Boo to the wait for US!! 

@liljoy i am also 5dp5dt and my trigger was 12 days ago. I tested it out (squinter at 10dp and suuuuper faint squinter at 11dp).

AFM, ***TW***Tested tonight before going to bed and instant, obvious second line, so I'm counting that as a BFP!! In 1.5 years of trying I've never seen a second line, so even if this doesn't stick, it still feels like a victory. My beta isn't until Friday and now I'm even more impatient!

@PoeMasque I believe the trigger shots get out of the system in 8-9 days maximum, based on the half lives. So yeah, your line (and I hope mine too) were probably positives. I've also never seen a 2nd line in my life before so yeah, it's exciting and scary!

Thank you everyone!!!  Today I have an ultrasound to see how many implanted and the sac placement and meet with the nurse afterward.  Still so unbelievable, and I am trying to be positive, but I know I'm not out of the woods yet!  It's too hard not to worry, and I know I will worry no matter what.

Also, I think it's weird they suddenly deleted the thread too...maybe they patrol through every so often?  Who knows, but I knew we needed a new one

@PoeMasque and @liljoy congrats on your first lines...that is awesome!!!!  Looking forward to hearing those beta results!!!

@ShyTonia -That is a great second beta!  I will find out today from my nurse how far I am, but I am fairly certain I am 5 weeks 1 day because I used this IVF calculator online.  I also heard that they calculate from your last period, which is awesome because you seem further along that initially thought!

@liljoy i definitely had residual trigger at 10dp trigger shot (3dp5dt), the line faded out over the next two days and then much darker line last night and this morning. It just depends on how quickly your body metabolizes it. Keep testing, I'm sure the line will get darker

As for me- I am on 7dpiui.  I took half of a ovadril shot this morning to boost my progesterone but that means no HPT's for me! Beta is scheduled for April 6th. Seems like an eternity.  I feel like it's AF or no AF that will tell me this month.  That B better stay away.

My nurse said they also go by adding 2 weeks to your IUI date. The first day of my last period was feb 28. But the 2 weeks prior to IUI makes that the 24th of February and that's what puts me at 4 1/2 weeks. Literally only time will tell. Just trying to stay in the moment and enjoy every second of it.

Thanks everyone...my appointment is in two hours, so I will keep everyone posted!  @irisheyes81 -that sounds like a long time to wait for a beta!!  What day will that be past IUI?  The waiting sucks!

@LoveDontCostAThing its FOREVER for my beta.  My RE has me do half of an HCG shot 7DPIUI to give me a progesterone boost so they do a beta 16DPIUI to be sure that it isn't the shot giving a false negative.  My guess is that AF will be the indicator more than any test.  Cant wait to hear about your appointment!

Argh - I tested last night (after holding for 3hrs) and got a very faint positive... tested again this am and got a negative. This is such a mind bender
I'm going for a blood test today to see - my clinics beta is technically tomorrow but I'd rather pay for a private blood test than deal with this waiting!

Hello, so they saw what they were looking for...the sac and the yolk sac.  Only one!  Then, I met with the nurse, and she said everything is where it should be. I told her I google and have anxiety...she said stop googling...I'll try.  I'm 5 weeks 1 day...my next OCD is that she said it measured 4 weeks 6 days, but she wasn't concerned.  Is this normal?  I go back in one week for blood and then in two weeks for ultrasound and heartbeat.  I basically have to try to chill till then...yea, right...I am so not chill lol.

@morgan&paul2010 are you giving yourself a trigger shot?  I did many clomid rounds with an hcg trigger & one IUI with one.

@LoveDontCostAThing congrats lady!! FX for that sweet babe to keep growing. But think measuring a day or two behind or ahead is okay.  If they were concerned I'm sure they'd tell you.

I just got my blood test result back... 53, so very low, but normal for a positive 12DPO. I can't stop crying!  

This morning my cervix went hard, low and painful - just like with my other chemical pregnancies. I'm torn between delight that IUI seemed to overcome our initial fertility barrier, but concerned the same thing is just happening again.

@LoveDontCostAThing yay! So glad your check up went well! And I feel like we need a discussion for the two week wait after the two week wait.  Lol. I'm patiently waiting for my ultrasound on April 10th. So I'm right there with being impatient. But I just keep reminding myself to stay present and to enjoy every minute in the "now"

@LoveDontCostAThing I am happy the US went well! Don't worry about the measurements...your numbers are fantastic! 

@MountainLady Don't give up hope yet! There are women who have very low betas during the beginning of their pregnancy that have strong, healthy babies! Have you seen betabase.info website? For 12 days past ovulation, the median HCG is 50! The lowest reported level was 3! I highly suggest checking it out!

@LoveDontCostAThing totally normal! I'm measuring a few days behind and my OB actually thinks I may have even implanted a few days later (I had spotting right before my beta). Totally normal!

@morgan&paul2010 are you giving yourself Ovidrel in the abdomen?  I didn't think it was bad at all.  The nurse would give it in my butt sometimes and that was way worse than my stomach.  I'm doing IVF and do a lot of shots and the Ovidrel is easy and painless.  I will trigger probably tomorrow night with two of them back to back and it's just psyching yourself up to do it.  You'll do great

@MountainLady Congrats, I think at only 12 DPO your beta is reasonable. That's why they usually do betas after 15DPO, when the levels are above 100

I hear what you're saying, but I'm rooting for you - that this one will stick and is completely different! FX! It's delightful - a step forward!
