copying and pasting from my ticker change day bc i am an AW and/or really ragey about.

i am really starting to hate talking about this pregnancy with people. everyone's so obsessed with the sex of this baby. and everyone loves to comment on how we have all girls. like it is a negative thing. even if the content of what they are saying is fine, the way they say it puts me on the defense. and i really don't know how to respond without flipping out on them. i have always said i wanted 3, why does it have to be assumed we are having 3 for a boy? all i know is this baby is going to be my favorite bc i am the 3rd child and they are the best

@carries2018 I'm totally with you. I HAAAAAAATE how so many people think that everyone wants a "nuclear family" (1 boy and 1 girl) and the ONLY reason to have more than 2 is if you don't have at least 1 of each. Definitely a pet peeve.

I'm really, really, really, really tired of having to essentially be an adult babysitter at my job. GET YOUR SHIT DONE. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO YOUR STUFF AND MINE.

Lord I need to find a way to WFH.

I hate that it's 10:40 and I'm waiting on my doctor appointment that was supposed to happen at 10am. I'm a ragey, hungry, impatient pregnant lady

@Mommaswizz Ugh, that is the worst. I usually try and get the first appointment of the day so they aren't already behind schedule before my appointment.

Oh, I got one today!!!  My mom asked to rub my belly, I told her no and said the baby's not even in my belly yet.  Later that evening (in front of my siblings who don't know yet) she ever so sneakily grazed my belly.  I hate people touching my belly, it just peeves me.  Oh and she's been so sappy and wanting hugs all the time, long lingering hugs, where she lets out the loudest "hmmmmm."  I don't do hugs and I hate sappy emotions, I'll let her have her first sappy moment, but continuing to do it over and over, I'm starting to get annoyed.

They are soooo behind. my ultrasound was supposed to be at 930, that happened closer to 950. Then they decided to squeeze in blood work before seeing the doc (they usually do thay last). I understand shit happens, I just wish I planned for it with a purse sandwich lol

My OB office is the worst, even if I get the first appointment of the day.  I normally plan for a 30 minute to 1 hour wait when I go.  If I didn't love my OB so much, I'd consider switching.

What? Why? I don't understand how they can be that late when you are literally the FIRST thing they have on their calendar. To me that just reeks of "my time is more important than yours". 

I'm glad you like your doc but that would piss me off.

We told our parents and siblings over the weekend the big news and told them not to tell anyone bc we don't plan on sharing to the rest of the world until after our next ultrasound in 3 weeks. My husband's step mom texts him the other night asking if they can tell his grandma and aunt and uncle's family. Then my mom texts me yesterday asking if she's supposed to tell my aunt and uncle. Uhm, no people! This isn't your uterus, so it's not your news to share! My husband said they're just asking to be sure. I told him they're asking bc they want to be the ones to spread the news, especially since it's twins. I'm sorry, but it's our news to share. I know it seems snarky, but this is our news to share. End rant.

@curlyq423 I agree, definitely your news.

I personally didn't care if my mom told her side of the family. MIL is driving me a little crazy though because she is chomping at the bit to put it all over Facebook.

@Mommaswizz That's so annoying. My appointments nearly always take 2-3 hours because of the wait, and it's ridiculous. You should treat yourself to a nice lunch afterward. 

But ugh my neighbors decided to build on to their house and there've been construction workers hammering, banging, sawing, and blaring tejano music since 6:30 this morning

@mrs_fogue That would annoy me beyond words. I'm not a hugger either and I the excited/emotional response to situations is just a trait that I lack and can't get on board with when it's directed towards me. And the casually grazing your stomach in front of your siblings. I don't know what by it makes me really angry. I haaaaate belly touchers and if you say no, and then someone does it anyway when it's obviously an attempt to possibly draw attention and out you before you're ready? No. You're a better person than me. I'd tell my mom she was gonna draw back a stump next time.

@jessafishy Only reason I want to share is bc I want to tell my cousin myself. Our grandma is a twin so it has always been a long running joke one of us is going to have twins someday. We jokingly argued within the past year the other one would have twins. I just want to see her reaction, we were close growing up. So I know if my mom told my aunt she wouldn't be able to keep the news a secret.

Plus I want to be sure everything is still good on our next ultrasound before we share with everyone. I'll be 12 weeks and more comfortable then telling others. I tend to worry a lot!

@curlyq423 I'm so annoyed for you. I got in a Huge fight with my dad about this this weekend. He told some his friends when I specifically asked him to wait till we had our 12 week appointment. It pisses me off when people cant respect privacy. Annoying!

I feel so bad for even saying this, but DH is on my last nerve today. He is physically incapable of being quiet. He gets up way early for work and the man doesn't know how to tip toe or do things without making noise to avoid waking me up. I'm sure you've all had those nights where you get up to pee and can't fall back asleep. Yup, was up for some time last night after going to the bathroom, finally fell asleep again, and hubby is stomping around our bedroom/bathroom like Darth freaking Vader. Ok, end rant. He's lucky I love him.

@bluejeanbabi05 I'm so jealous! I was still drinking coffee up until 2 or 3 weeks ago when I couldn't choke it down anymore! Maybe I should try iced coffee bc that doesn't make me gag like hot coffee does. Hmmm....I'm so glad we talked! You've been an Inspiration! *Runs to kitchen to make iced coffee*

I had a major aversion to it the other week.  I really want to try again, but I'm scared.  I've been substituting an afternoon coke for my caffeine intake.  But I liked coffee so much more.

I miss coffee. So much.
I'm too tired to be at work. 
My constant nausea is so frustrating.
I baked cookies yesterday and wanted to cry when I had to rinse the extra dough off the beater bars instead of licking it off. 

I'll just be over her crying myself a river.

I go for a walk outside at lunch every day on this sidewalk loop around our complex. As do many others. 

What I cannot understand is why two women who are walking side by side on the sidewalk find it so difficult to fall into single file when they are approaching someone from the opposite direction. 

I don't budge. Seriously, you're not pushing me over into the grass/road when I'm walking single file. You can take a 5 second break from your super duper important conversation over your weekend hookups to fall out of and then back into your side by side walk.

Also? The dirty looks you give me each time we pass and I don't get over? Only make me more determined to not budge.

We're workshopping one of the girls in my fiction writing class's short stories tonight, so I'm reading it over now. I like her a lot, and the story is interesting, but her grammar is so atrocious I honestly don't know how she graduated high school, much less made it into a masters in writing program. And I don't mean like small errors, I mean like make you want to cry horrific errors that my 10 year old cousin would laugh at. Why???

I love coffee even more during pregnancy, if that's even possible. Like literally every morning I'm in awe over how amazing it tastes.

I called the university I am attending at the moment to get a plan of action as I will be finishing my nursing pre-req's this semester and get a plan on going back and finishing after baby gets here (I'm finishing nursing school or I'll die trying) and they were totally rude and was like well with a small baby this program is extremely rigorous and you spend all of your time studying. And they told me that I would need to wait a while or find another option. Like who are you to tell me what I can and can't do? So I called the Junior College here they offers an RN program but it's an associates degree, and they were so nice and understanding and was like most of the people we have in our program are kind to young babies and we all make it work. I'm just so irritated because I want my BSN but if they are going to be like this I'll transfer to the JuCo and finish my RN and still be able to spend plenty of time with. Any and have a support system through the school as well as family. UGH!
