Re: Symptoms for week with the 23rd in it

  • @jess0211 I've been using my neti pot for mine since most decongestants aren't pregnancy safe. @slaven's suggestion of a face steamer may already work. I hope you feel better soon!

  • @slaven that's a great idea!!!!

  • @irishfrisky @randicap-2  I'm right there with you straddling the line between absolutely starving and nauseous/wanting to throw everything back up. I'm just glad that I sort of want food again because around 6 weeks I could barely eat. I've found that small meals throughout the day has helped rather than eating bigger meals. I pack a lunch full of "snacky" type foods and pretty much just pick at them every hour or two, all day.

@LunaMo Don't feel like a horrible person for calling in sick! It's not like you're making it up or lying. I hope your work has been understanding. I've definitely come in a solid half hour late a handful of times now when I don't feel good.
  • Nausea back with a vengeance today. I just want to take the day off and sleep. I'm so so exhausted and feelmiserable today. Definitely happy to have symptoms finally but it's so hard to work full time and long hours.
  • 10 weeks today and I have been feeling remarkably better. At least on the nausea front, the fatigue is still real. I'm still getting nauseous but it's not an all day every day thing anymore. Hang in there y'all!
  • Ok, somewhat TMI, but I guess this counts as a symptom and a complete surprise to me...

Last night, DH and I were HIO and after I O'd...I had the worst cramping pain and pressure since becoming pregnant. It lasted for about 10-15 minutes and was really intense. I googled and found it is pretty common after O'ing, but geesh...I did not see that coming. I am actually scared to HIO for the next 8 months given the experience. I know everything is fine, but wow that was painful.

Has anyone else had this happen?
  • @dragonfly87 yes that totally happens to me too! I also Google it and found that it's totally normal. It hasn't happened the last few times but happened a lot before week 7. Now at week 9 HIO is back to being enjoyable.
  • @bravoandprosecco I was so sick my first pregnancy and then the second time I had virtually no symptoms.  I constantly forgot I was even pregnant until I started feeling movement and showing.   Totally normal!
