30 + 4 FTM People keep making comments at how tiny I am, and the doctor says the baby is perfectly sized, but it makes me sad that I feel like I'm missing out on this illusive (at least to me) baby bump. I know I have like 10 weeks left, but it makes me sad I'm not bigger. Maybe that's weird. UO? Sorry for the AW rant.
@Jens_Hoes: In my first pregnancy, the last like 6ish weeks were dramatic for bump growth. (Just when you think you're as big as a house, along comes a McMansion.) You're totally in the right for feeling however you are, and we're here for you, just know that your bump very well likely will change over the next 2 months!
Monday 31+1 FTM...my mom wanted to take a photo again lol so here's my crazy face! Hopefully it's not too dark...I'll try to remember to take one later today
Heres another crazy face caught off guard lol

@Jens_Hoes with my first, I really didn't start feeling big until 34ish weeks and then it was a really fast transition from feeling big to feeling like a beached whale.
@Jens_Hoes, if it makes you feel any better, big = uncomfortable. Hopefully, your "smaller" bump means less back pain and more ease in getting comfortable at night.
@clebl24 Unfortunately, no. I'm super uncomfortable at all times lol so smaller is not better at least not in my case.
Thank you everyone for the support. I know it is a silly thing to complain about, especially when we have so many moms who have legitimate concerns regarding the LO's.
@Jens_Hoes , it may not FEEL like you have a bump, but I definitely see one!! As others have said, it will rapidly grow...I have been relatively small through this pregnancy and from about 30 weeks on I've been getting regular comments like "whoa, where did THAT come from??" I expect that to continue of from here as I feel like I'm doubling in size weekly, lol...
30+1 (yesterday) with #1. Feeling like my bump hasn't changed much in the last couple weeks but EVERYTHING else has decided to grow! Not my highest self esteem week.
33w5d with Baby #1. Somehow that belly still has to stretch 6ish more weeks :O. I'm down to only a few work outfits and until it cools off a little, flip flops.
31 weeks with #2 and hearing all of the comments about "where did that come from?!?" and "you're so big!"
@Jens_Hoes you look great! As long as baby is measuring well, try not worry about how big you are. I know, especially with your first pregnancy, you want that cute belly, but you do have a bump and it will get bigger.
Everyone looks so great! I'm super curious about what the next 10 weeks will bring for me. Every time they play a birth video at Lamaze, I'm thinking am I really going to get that big? Taken at 30w
@Jens_Hoes I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to satisfy people on the size of any bump. I am totally with you on the small bump train. Based off the comments other receive though, I'm not sure there is a win win situation! I have actually had family be all excited to see my bump, then say nothing. When bump or baby are later brought up in conversation, they casually say "yeah but it's small so..." like sorry I failed you? I struggle with activities with a small bump, I don't know how I'll survive if this thing gets huge.
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot Same here! I have two cats and they will tussle for my lap. I end up pleading with them to please not step or jump directly on the belly because they are not skinny and that hurts! (The pleading doesn't work. It's like they can't understand English )
So true on bump size. People all seem to have their own "normal" in mind and it's pretty much never what you are. I feel like I'm 8 months pregnant, it's acceptable for me to look huge. However, people seem shocked by how "big" I am. Then again, if I were small (like you Jen, or like my Mom) people would be shocked by how "small" I am. There's no winning. Rock what you got. Your baby is just smart and likes to make best use of space. My baby likes to pretend they live in a penthouse where they can constantly expand.
@Jens_Hoes - First off, I love your shirt in that picture. I'm pretty sure I own it! But secondly, I was similarly sized with my first. Somewhere around 33-34 weeks, my belly just exploded though. Don't let it bring you down!! If it helps, I've got the opposite happening where people keep telling me how big I am, and I'm about to punch them.

@Jens_Hoes I think I really popped by 32 weeks with my first so it can still happen to you. I'll have to find my old weekly photos!
