What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Mild nausea, hungry all the time, tired. All very mild and very similar to what I experienced with DS.
Rant/Rave/Questions? We switched DS to his toddler bed this week (on top of DST, what were we thinking?!?!). Night 1 went well. Last night it took almost 2 hours to get him to go to sleep. He then got up at 6am. Sooooo tired.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DS was 8lb, 14oz.
I actually loved my birth experience. If the newborn stage hadn't been so difficult for me I would have a lot more kids (DH would say no to this). My water broke, my contractions started, by the time I got to the hospital I was already dilated to a 5. I did pretty good on the birthing ball until I hit transition and then I got some fentanyl and stalled out at 8cm for 2 hours which was brutal. Then I pushed for 2.5 hours. Total time laboring was 15 hours. If everything goes similarly this time I think I can do without the drugs, the position I was in with the IV was the reason everything slowed down!

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? nausea is slowly easing, at least compared to last week. Now the exhaustion has hit.

GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience?
DD was 6lb 14 oz The last month of pregnancy was a whirlwind. I went into PTL at 35 weeks, lost my plug at the doctors office so she swopped me right over to L&D. I had steady but inconsistent contractions every 3-5 minutes so they gave me a shot to stop them which didn't work. After being monitored for several hours but no change in dilation they sent me home on bedrest expecting to see me back the next day. I labored like this until week 39 and decided to be induced at this point. I went in already at a 4. They started Pitocin but DD heart rate kept dropping so they stopped that. Once they broke my water things progressed naturally and I had her within 8 hours.
I really want to go into labor naturally this time and hopefully no PTL to deal with. Fingers crossed.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I feel like I'm already starting to get out of breath more easily while walking. What the hell.
Rant/Rave/Questions? So yes, looking for opinions. DD is 2.5 and I'm thinking about buckling down with potty training. We have a little potty she likes to sit on sometimes but has only used it a couple of times for it's intended purpose. We kind of stopped trying when we focused on transitioning her to her toddler bed. Anyway, since she is good sleeping in her bed I'm thinking about picking potty training back up. However, we have a trip to Disneyland planned in two months. I just realized having a newly potty trained (or partially potty trained) toddler there might be a nightmare (accudents, long lines for restrooms, scary public toilets). So I'm thinking about waiting til we are back. DH thinks I'm procrastinating...but I'm thinking changing a diaper at Disney might be easier than rushing around to all the potties when she thinks she needs to go....I've obviously never potty trained before so maybe it's not a big deal. Thoughts?
Also just wanted to mention I'm out of town right now and only on mobile so I haven't been around as much this week so if I miss any tags I'm sorry!
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? 9lbs2oz. Yeah, big baby. All the docs were concerned she might have diabetes, which I was slightly angry about because they kept poking her and testing blood, but she was fine. DH is 6ft4in and she takes after him lol as far as birth experience...eh, I mentioned in another thread the fever I ended up with which was terrible. I was freezing and couldn't stop shaking. They were pretty close to insisting on a csection. She was also "sunny side up" which resulted in terrible back labor. My epidural was amazing. As well as the other pain meds I was given while waiting for the epidural lol
purplestars if you see this, I'm 100% in your shoes with the potty training too. In my opinion, I would wait until returning from your trip. Public restrooms and PTing just intimidate me. I'm sure if your like me the goal is to be potty trained before the baby gets here. That still gives you plenty of time.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Nausea is kicking my butt, its worse than when I was pregnant with my son, but whatever, I'll live.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? My little peanut was 4lbs 12oz at birth. My water broke at 34 weeks, I went to the hospital where I was admitted and told I wasn't going home until I had my baby. He was born 28 hours later. I hadn't slept in almost 48 hours by the time he was born and they had to induce because I had a fever. And then I got to hold him for maybe a full minute and then they took him away to the NICU.
The hardest thing I had to do was go home when my little man was still in the hospital. I just don't want that to happen again. Our NICU experience was oddly wonderful, I always feel weird saying that but it was. My best friends baby was in the same NICU at the same time and the nurses moved babies around so ours could be in the same pod with the same nurses. And going into it, I already knew the nurses because I had been there with my friend. So first time I walked in, I was called by name and given a hug by a nurse I already knew. I don't want it to happen again, but if it does, we'll be okay
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? still waves of nausea. things are definitely starting to ease up compared to a few weeks ago. appetite is hit or miss. Last pregnancy was totally difference, i wasn't sick at all and i already gained like 10 lbs by now. I've lost a couple lbs this time around from feeling so sick. So looking forward to finishing up the 1st trimester
Rant/Rave/Questions? @jessafishy has me thinking about toddler beds now lol My daughter is almost 21 months... I gotta figure out the best time to transition her to a toddler bed (Cue my weeping that we're losing the one place i can put her that she can't escape from) and i need to figure out the dreaded potty training period. Thinking once the weather starts getting warmer, i'll need to tackle both.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? My DD was 7lbs 3oz. I had a pretty pleasant birth experience with her. Woke up with contractions at 39 weeks 6 days, showered, shaved everything that needed to be shaved, put on make up, had some cereal, went to the hospital by 11am, got my epidural around 1pm at 6cm, chilled all day, started pushing around 7 and she arrived a little before 9pm.
@purplestars & @mrs_fogue Same here with the potty training. He is showing zero interest. I'm just hoping he gets there before this baby comes at this point.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Fatigue, heartburn and round ligament pain. Seems that my face has decided to start breaking out over the last two days too. I did have more nausea in the beginning this go around and the RLP definitely started earlier this time.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Anyone have family coming in from out of state to watch older kids during birth?!
I realize, we have PLENTY of time to work this out lol. I have no idea when to tell my mom to come. She is coming to stay home with DD and probably help out for a week or so. We live 1200 miles away, so she will have to buy plane tickets in advance. I'm guessing she will buy a one way, then buy her return ticket while he is here. If she isn't here yet, we have friends that DD could stay with, but I'm really not comfortable with overnight stays with non-family yet (she's 3 1/2). Right now I'm thinking we will just make sure the plane tickets are changeable and that she should come a couple of days before my due date.
If I were to have baby during the day, and her not be here yet, I'd be 100% fine with DH picking DD up and staying with her at home vs. with me at the hospital. The whole situation gives me anxiety lol.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DD was 6lbs 9oz (she was born two days after her due date)
I was very happy with her birth experience. I started having regular contractions about 7:30 on Thursday night, went in to the hospital around 8:30 (after timing my contractions, calling my midwife, getting everything read). They weren't really painful yet, so I wasn't in a big hurry lol. I honestly could have waited a lot longer, but it was my first baby, so I wasn't risking it as my mom had SUPER fast labors lol.
I was determined not to have an epidural (mostly, because the thought of the needle terrified me haha). Contractions got painful around midnight. I labored until about 6:30 Friday morning, before they came to check me. I just knew if I was close to 10cm then I'd make it. Well, after all those hours of painful contractions, I was still only at 5cm. I opted for the epidural at that point (and it was much more pleasant than the contractions, ha).
They broke my water around 8, and I was able to rest and just hang out (starving, of course) the rest of the day lol. She didn't make her appearance until 4:06 that afternoon. Needless to say I didn't take after my mom (she was in labor for like 3 hours tops with all three of us).
This go around, I'm completely open to an epidural, but hoping this labor is much faster. I know they say your second is usually faster than the first. If it's progressing fast enough for me I'll probably try again without it, just because I know it can slow things down (and probably did with DD). I'm nervous, because we have since moved to another state an our hospital is across a busy bridge with lots of traffic. With DD we were a short 3 minute drive away. It still only takes about 15 minutes to get there, but still lol.
@keriflores yes, we have no family in state so we are in a similar situation. I told my mom she needs to be here for the whole month of October. I think she thought I was joking but I'm not.
I guess luckily for me she is only12 hour drive away if labor happens earlier than anticipated. We would probably drop DD off with friends until she got here but we still need to figure that part out. I think a changeable/refundable ticket makes the most sense in your case!
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Mild symptoms just like last time.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm so anxious/ready for my first appointment. Six more days.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DS was born at 39+1 weighing 7lbs 10 oz. My water broke in the middle the night and I woke up with unmistakable but manageable contractions. I showered, shaved, and we got to the hospital around 4am. By that time my contractions were SO painful, and I was only 3 cm! I got the epidural around 5am, relaxed for a few hours, and started pushing at 10am. I pushed for three hours which was exhausting, but my nurse and OB were awesome and really empowering. He was born at 1pm.
One thing I think contributed to the three hours of pushing is that I topped off my epidural when I could start feeling the contractions again, but it was right before they checked me and saw I was fully dilated. I think it would have gone faster had I let the epidural just wear off. So this time around I'll hold off on dosing up.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? The nausea is coming to an end, but I have my second cold this pregnancy. This first trimester has overall been the most difficult of all my pregnancies with nausea, exhaustion, and loss of concentration, but things are looking up.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? Twins were small but about right for their gestational age at birth. DS was 6 lbs 11oz. DS's birth went fairly well. Middle-of-the-night c-section because my water broke (burst like a balloon! I literally deflated!) two weeks before my scheduled repeat c. My uterus supposedly tore before they got there with the surgical knife, but my new OB is looking over those surgical records to see what really happened, just in case we could have some similar or worse late term issues this time. But you know what? I am very pleased with my birthing experiences, even the crazy twin one. I felt loved and supported and that my needs and those of my children were met. I do cry every year on the day before my DDs' birthday because something unknowable happened that day that led to what happened the next, and I cried when the u/s tech measured my cervix during DS's anatomy scan and told me that it was long and closed (which was what led to my DDs' troubles). Even so, it is just a general sadness.
*Siggy warning - loss mentioned* Preemie ID DDs; then DS; then natural M/C; now due 10/17 High risk for pre-term: weekly Makena injections
2. Feeling like poo. I didn't feel this way the last time. I never got sick or felt sick and now it's a daily thing that got worse at 6 weeks. Please tell me I'll feel normal again.
3. Super excited for our first appointment tomorrow! Hoping our due date doesn't change by a lot.
4. Our son weighed 6lb 10oz. After finally setting an induction date on a Friday, I started having contractions the next day and delivered our son early on a Sunday morning...11 days overdue! I had the birth I wanted without meds and couldn't have asked for a better delivery and hospital staff. Scares me this time around about something going wrong. Also more nervous about the labor and pain intensity since I now know what to expect. Especially the pain and recovery post delivery. Ignorance is sometimes bliss!
@curlyq423 It's so funny how two people can totally view something differently. I feel BETTER about L&D this time because I know somewhat what to expect. I literally got done with L&D and got into my recovery room and was holding DS and told DH "I could totally do that again."

@jessafishy Haha! I told my husband when we got home I was never having another child bc the pain down yonder was too much. (I think I had a second degree tear). I think part of it was I was so overwhelmed with sleep deprivation and hormones were flying everywhere. I do feel better knowing what to expect at the hospital and the process of it all.
@jessafishy@curlyq423 I was totally in the I can do this again camp even with a 3rd degree tear from my big headed baby. I had soreness but nothing I couldn't manage. I was prepared with all my frozen padsicles and meds which I took religiously. The bloody breasts were a different story though. That's what had me in tears.
@purplestars The whole month of October sounds like a plan haha. It's a good 20 hour drive (that she would definitely not do alone). She was only 7 hours away when DD was born. I think a flexible ticket is the best option too.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Mostly exhausted, but also have rlp when I move the wrong way (or sneeze). It is better this go around because I haven't had much ms, but I'm definitely more tired since I have to take care of my son in the evening after work. He is a ball full of energy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I've been thinking about switching my son to a toddler bed. He is over 2.5 (will be three in July). He never tries to get out of his crib, but I want to reuse the crib for this baby so we don't have to buy another one. I also know we should start working on potty training. He goes through spurts when he is interested, but mostly he just wants to flush the toilet. I have no clue what I'm going to do.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? My son weighed 7 lbs 7 oz. I enjoyed my birth experience. It took me a bit to realize I was having contractions. I just thought I was experiencing my normal "can't sleep or get comfortable" position. We went to the hospital around 4am and was admitted. Getting my epidural was the best thing in my life! They gave me the ability to push a button if I needed more. Well, I pushed around 12:30pm and the nurse came in and said I was going to start pushing in thirty minutes. Needless to say, I couldn't feel anything!! My son popped out around 2:01pm. I wanted to stop before the last two pushes. I was done! My doc was great though and so were the nurses. And my husband was great too.
This time around I'm taking a shower and eating before going to the hospital!!

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? It's a completely new ballgame with this one. The puke and nausea struggle is real this one. If I don't gain weight by next Tuesday, they're putting me on some meds to help me keep food down. I did my part today but eating a frozen pizza and salt 'n vinegar chips.
Rant/Rave/Questions? WTF is mother nature THINKING right now? Looking forward to 70's again next week. This is NOT why I moved back south.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DD was 8lb 4oz, surprising all of us with how big she was, especially since she was a week early. My last birth experience was relatively mild (I hesitate to ever call labor & delivery "easy"). I generally tell all of my friends to come talk to me when they're pregnant because it's like everyone wants to tell their "war" stories about how terrible it was, so I like to give them another point of view - FTM's are not always the worst labor & deliveries ever. I will, however, eat more than a peanut butter and jelly and 3 sweettarts (all grape, it was a sign) prior to going to the hospital this go around. That was a bad, bad idea.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? All day nausea, food aversions, starving most of the time, etc. Feeling a lot worse than with my first pregnancy, which was super easy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? @jessafishy you've got me thinking about the toddler bed now too. DD is finally pooping in the potty consistently (pee was easy, but not poop), so I think we'll give it a few more weeks before we make the transition. I've heard it can cause regressions with potty training. DD ends up in our bed by morning most nights, so the transition should be interesting to say the least. GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DD was 8 lbs. DH and I were both 6 lbs-ers, and DD has consistent been pretty little (25% for weight) since she was 1 month old, so not sure how she wound up that size at birth.
Overall, I had a really good birth experience. Downside was that I had prodromal labor for several days, the last few of which were hell. I was having extremely painful contractions, but they were super inconsistent timing-wise and I was stuck at 3 cm dilated. Went in the day before she was born, they had me walk around for two hours, then sent me home because I hadn't made any progress. I didn't sleep that night, went back to the hospital the following day because I couldn't handle the pain. They gave me morphine (I think), which allowed me to sleep for a few hours. With the sleep, active labor kicked in. I got my epidural, labored for 3-4 hours, pushed for an hour, and she was born. The prodromal labor was pretty horrible, but once things got going it was a great experience.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? RL pain, nausea, heartburn, tiredness, bloated, just all around blah feeling.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate being an adult, and having bills and insurance, and a 2 and a half year old on top of the general blah of being pregnant.
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? My DS was 8 lbs, 14 ozs at birth, dropped to 8.8 and then before we even left the hospital he was back up to 8.9. Overall he probably would have ended up an only child based off of his birth, but this oops baby evidently wanted to stick. With my son I started having contractions at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, went to the hospital at 2:00 am, only at 1 cm, they sent me home that morning at 9:30 am because I wasn't progressing, went back that night, still at 1, they kept me overnight, got to the next morning only went to 4 cm, they were going to send me home again, instead we begged them to do something, so they broke my water, that then worked my way up to 7 cm, around 4:00 they came in and were going to send me home again, because I still wasn't progressing, instead we begged them again to do something so they gave me pitocin, finally around 7:30 they administered that, got up to use the bathroom before walking the halls yet again, and felt like I had to poop, nurse says before you walk let me check you, had jumped from 7 to 9.75 and my body kept trying to push and they kept yelling at me that I couldn't, so she calls the doctor, 3 hours later the doctor comes in swoops around my son's head with her finger and says ok you can push now, 3 hours of my body trying to push, and being yelled at that I couldn't. Finally at 12:30 am on Saturday morning my son was born. Meanwhile I hadn't eaten since Wednesday night, and had barely slept since then either. I was about ready to kill the doctor. 54 hours of contractions, and no epidural, and a completely what felt like inept doctor to me, like I said my son would have been an only child.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? My nausea is out of control! I'm feel sick all the time. I bought sea bands today in the hopes that they help.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I went on a bit of a shopping spree today and bought a ton of maternity clothes. I honestly forgot how comfy they are!
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? 9lbs 10 oz. The only good thing about my birth experience was my son. The rest was terrible. 22 hours of active labour. I had the gas, Morphine, fentanyl and an epidural before it was all said and done. DS was sunny side up, got his shoulder stuck behind my pelvic bone and was a forceps birth. I ended up hemorrhaging and with a 4th degree tear that took 6 months plus a second medical procedure to heal.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Last time, i was sleeping but exhausted. This time, im not sleeping and im exhausted! I keep waking up for a myriad of reasons - i really just wana sleep more!
Rant/Rave/Questions? I have an us appt this friday. If all goes well, we will see the hb. Im so nervous!
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? dd was 6lbs 11oz when born. My ob admitted me to the hospital because my bp was borderline high throughout my pg. After 4 days of trying different things, i was given pitocin and an epidural - i couldnt handle the contractions. After a few hours, like @shan24, my body wanted me to push and the nurses wouldnt let me. About 30 mins later though, i was checked and the doc was called back. She was out in 20 mins - thankfully! I had 3rd degree tears and while painful, id do it again .. They gave me such good numbing agents and meds for the post birth that i was religious in taking that i healed up quick and easy.
symptoms have gone away for the most part. just hungry and tired all the time.
rant: i was at a gathering with my friends and they called me out asking if i was pregnant. i was so caught off guard my acting was not very good so everyone knows. i feel a lot of stress/pressure about that without having my first u/s yet. but i was excited to share the news...in the most awkward fashion ever haha.
GTKY: DD1 oh gosh i dont remember their weights haha 7lbs? DD2 was a pound more so i will go with 8lbs!
both were csections (DD1 labored but didn't push, dd2 planned csection) so i know what to expect this time. of course i feel some sadness of not experiencing a "natural birth" but if parenting has taught me anything nothing happens the way you planned, i am just grateful they were born safe and sound.
@carries2018 omg, my sister totally called me out this weekend. She said I had that glow. I tried to played it off but now my family is on to me. We are spending the weekend all together so IDK how I'll manage to keep it zipped.
@mrs_fogue@carries2018 is it just me, or is that anyone else's pet peeve?? I would NEVER ask a woman if she's pregnant. I figure when they are ready to tell, they will tell.
My SIL *knew* I was pregnant this time. Well, sure, guess that every month and eventually you might be right but it's the parents' news to share, when they want to share it. No awards are given out for "outing" someone before they're ready.

oh also i'll hop on the big bed talk. I decided to put my girls in a room together, take away the paci from the 2yo, and DLS all in a week. ::pass the coffee::
but seriously for those thinking of doing the switch. it was one of those transitions i feared the most...but once i did it, it was nbd. It took about a week to get it down, then she was fine. PTing was the rough one for us. I am in a pickle of when to start that with my 2yo because i dont want to do it too close to the baby and have her regress when i am recovering from a csection and adjusting to 3 kids. but also i learned my lesson with dd1 not to start too soon. So i guess ill just wing it. thinking in the summer i will give it a whirl.
@carries2018 Oh thank god. I hope our transition is just a week.

@natleilynn yes and no. i have called out my bffs before haha. but i mean they were begging to be asked by drinking water at a wedding but these friends i am not that close with it felt weird them asking. like i dunno gossipy. we were at a kid's party with no alcohol so it wasnt like i had that to blame. no one even knew we were trying so it was just so weird. i've known some of my friends were pregnant before they told, just how they acted. and unless they were a bff, i let them play their game of hiding it.
We transitioned to the toddler bed right before DS's second birthday because he was climbing out of his crib. He was a big wiggler in his sleep and he fell out of the bed the first few nights but managed to sleep through it. I don't have the video monitor set up anymore so he might still be sleeping on the floor, I'm just not aware.
PTing scares me. Waiting until summer to tackle that one.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I feel nauseous and am vomiting. I started taking Diclectin which I didn't take last pregnancy. It's taking the edge off but I am still sick. And it's making me super tired. With DS I had tons of heartburn. I had a tiny bit the other night for the first time. But it didn't last long.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I just feel bad for DS. I feel like a crappy mom. I either feel too nauseous they I don't want to play, or I am falling asleep on the couch because I'm so tired. I feel like I'm neglecting him oh. And my cat is annoying me. She will not leave me alone!!! Just give me some space!!!!!
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DS was 7lbs11oz. which was a good weight. My birth experience was horrible. Anything that could go wrong, DID go wrong. I ended up with every medical intervention except a c-section. I was in labour for 30 hours. And even once DS was out, it wasn't smooth sailing. The cord was wrapped around his neck (thank God he's okay), he had pooped coming out, and then the umbilical cord detached from the placenta!!! They had to go in and scoop out the placenta. And believe me, it was as pleasant as it sounds! Basically as long as something goes right this delivery, I'll be happy! I'm aiming for 20 hours or less! LOL!
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? pretty similar to last time, MS and exhaustion, but it comes and goes.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience? DH was born at 8lbs 6 oz. My birthing experience was ok...I have a blood disease with low platelets so I wasn't able to get an epidural I woke up on Saturday feeling heavy and though...hmmm? by noon I was in early labor and at midnight I was at the hospital. I was only 4 cm dilated when I got there so I stayed in triage for a few hours in the worse of pain. The last time the lovely nurse checked me, she kind of forced me open the last cm I needed to be admitted, thank goodness! I then labored for another 13 hours with the help of opiates to ease the pain and then pushed for about 45 minutes. I definitely would say it wasn't the easiest, especially not being able to get the epidural, but I'm doing it again!
Symptoms: Still so sick . Never throwing up just constant nausea. I actually felt ok for a couple hours this weekend. It was nice, but also cruel since I had almost forgot how crappy I actually feel.
Rant: Everything smells terrible!
GTKY: My son was 8lbs & my daughter was 8lbs 4ounces. With my daughter I started spotting at 39 weeks and went to the hospital thinking it was time. I was only like 2cm dialated, but they let me stay. I wish I would have stayed home longer. I was barely in labor for at least 10 hours and it was miserable being hooked up to those machines for nothing. I finally had her 24 hours after checking in.

Rant/Rave/Questions?
GTKY: What did your baby/babies weigh at birth? How did you feel about your previous birth experience?

How far along are you? 10 weeks 5 days

Preemie ID DDs; then DS; then natural M/C; now due 10/17
High risk for pre-term: weekly Makena injections

I'm considering a c-section for this one.

They gave me such good numbing agents and meds for the post birth that i was religious in taking that i healed up quick and easy.

but seriously for those thinking of doing the switch. it was one of those transitions i feared the most...but once i did it, it was nbd.

LOL!
