Wow thanks for your responses guys! I wonder why my last OB only ever did one then. I asked if he wanted more because I started out with a UTI and he never even checked once after. Then at 38 weeks they switched me to a new OB because mine had to go out for shoulder surgery.
@jessieR358 I think you're correct that ACOG guidelines are to look at the urine every time....mine hasn't checked since the first appointment either. Every other pregnancy I had to pee in the cup every appointment....but I'm rolling with it. If I feel symptomatic, I'll just ask them to check.
Guys. I'm desperate. I can NOT handle DH's snoring. Pregnancy insomnia has hit already, and his snoring wakes me up from what little sleep I'm getting. I'm about to take up permanent residence on the couch for the rest of this pregnancy. I can't do this.

@HollyGolightly09 We've done strips in the past with no luck. I'm usually ok as long as I'm asleep before him. But that's not happening lately. I'll have to check on ear plugs, I've never tried that. I read that a certain essential oil on the big toe can help. I may or may not, most definitely did, just get up and put some on him while he slept...

@awildrose omg DH's snoring is so bad. I don't ever remember it being this bad before. I always fall asleep first too, but im waking up all night and putting pillows over my head. I used to sleep so soundly, that is ALL gone.
Why does Beef O'Brady's have NO irish food on their menu? They have a shamrock on their signage and it sounds pretty Irish to me...looked up menu...nothing irish about it. Guess we're gonna have to go to McGuire's Pub...which is just a nut house on St. Patty's day.
Yeah you're not going anywhere! @wyomama0427 august 31 was my due date with DS! Is it weird to know exactly what day your baby will be born? Or is a relief? Im over here like "please just don't be 8 days late this time!"
For those with insomnia already, my doctor ok'ed unisom for nights when I can't sleep, and the few times I've used it, it has worked really well. Of course, different doctors might have different comfort levels, but that's what mine said.
Also, I kinda think Taylor Swift has had a nose job. It's definitely more delicate now than it was in her Becky days.

My aunt had a scheduled C-section and my cousin was like, "NOPE! I'm coming 3 weeks early and ginormous." She and her OB were totally caught off guard lol

@lap018 it's very weird! It's comforting to know that I won't have to go past my due date though, it helps that I can feel a little more prepared, but for the exact reason @Becky012016 said I'm not holding my breath, DS decided to come before our scheduled induction date too!

SITB -- theres definitely still some uncertainly especially when these babies have minds of their own on when they show up lol! I was just curious if it was more of a relief to have that date to begin with, like a set date, a "if I haven't gone into labor by this date he/she will definitely be here" type of thing because at this point I'm looking at like a 3 week window of when baby may or may not show up (week 39,40, or 41 depending on not going into labor early)
@lap018 it's definitely a relief to have a set date! I know I won't have to be overdue and miserable in late summer lol! It's is kind of weird that I could potentially have planned my child's birthday at 15 weeks before I even know the sex or anything! It feels backwards lol
There's an EMT here that DH is following, learning from and riding with and this guy says that one of the last things on his checklist is to deliver a baby in his ambulance.... and he wants it to be this baby lol. Don't worry he's married with five or six kids and thinks of DH as a little brother. I hate to break it to ya but I'm not having an ambulance baby lol

I am terrified of having an ambulance or taxi baby! All my mom's labors were really fast- I was born in an hour and a half, my brother was two hours, 10 minutes. She walked around with both of us 3 cm dilated for several days, and then BOOM we just came. I'm so worried that it's going to be business as usual, and then somehow I'm going to get stuck in Manhattan traffic and have my baby in the back of a vehicle. Or be a novice FTM and wait too long to go to the hospital. I've already told DH, once my Monica's plug is gone, or I dialate at all, I may very well just camp out in the ER waiting room, because legally they can't make me leave, and I am not giving birth in the subway!

@amandarene112 I lost my mucus plug a week before I had DS for some its immediate and for the poor suckers like me it takes more time lol. we live an hour and a half away from our doctor so I'm irrationally scared I'll have a car baby too. Even though my last labor took me 12 hours just to dilate to a 5...
Also idk if this is TMI but I never had a bloody show, my mucus plug was completely clear, no streaks of blood at all. Maybe that could have been a sign that things were moving at glacial speed.
@wyomama0427 I'm being a little hyperbolic, but not much. Also, I just realized that my autocorrect changed mucus plug to Monica's plug. New code word!

I thought you did that on purpose. I was thinking, Oh that's a really nice way to put it. I might actually use that on DH because he gets so grossed out at certain words. Like I kept telling him that I didn't have a baby bump I was just bloated, but he says bloated makes him think of roadkill that's rotting. So I've had to use the word 'fluffy' around him.
On our way home from the doctor DH told me that he's not happy. Like with our marriage. And that he hasn't been "for a while". So I'm having a tough time processing today
@wyomama0427 That is really, really rough. Is there anyone you can talk to, a minister or counselor of some kind? I actually have some personal experience with this, so please, DM me if you ever want to talk! DH and I went through a few years of counseling to work on our marriage, so while I'm no expert, I'm more than happy to listen, and share what I've learned. (((Big hugs)))

We had a little accident today. Tanner decided to fight the concrete and lost. Poor kid I felt so bad for him.
