I only had to work a half day today so I am off to get my nails done. I plan to do a whole lot of relaxing this weekend and I can't wait! What is everyone else up to?

It was my DH's birthday this week and we decided to wait until this weekend to celebrate. So, it should be a fun low-key weekend.

I have two hours left of work before spring break. I'm going to a conference the week after so I won't step foot in my office for almost two weeks!

@ChloandCoco - enjoy your low key weekend. DH and the boys are camping this weekend so me and the pups are just relaxing (and eventually cleaning a little.)

I'm excited to report that we're painting the laundry room this weekend.  And having friends over for a BBQ on Sunday.  We're in a temporary lull for kids' sporting events--downright luxurious to not have too many plans.

Vent: My ILs were supposed to come up today and spend the day with DS, but decided not to risk it because of snow. They totally would have been fine. So instead of a day sans baby, DH and I dragged him along to the wine tasting we had planned. I will say it wasn't DSs first tasting, haha. And this place is very casual, it was just difficult because he wanted to get down and run around, but I can't trust him yet to not break every wine bottle in sight I think tomorrow's plan is just cleaning, ugh. 

However, next weekend I get to meet the Property Brothers!!! They'll be here in Kansas City for the Homes show!!!! DH got us VIP tickets for my bday

@CecilB93 Ya a wine tasting with a LO doesn't sound too enjoyable. Way too much glass to break.

Well we ended up taking our LO (13 months) to a dog show today and she looooved it. I seriously think this was the best day of her life lol. All the dogs were so friendly and she got to pet/hug so many! So so cute. LO has been having a nap strike so we didnt have to plan around her naps today, we just went for it.

@fishee333 it really wouldn't have been so bad if he would let anyone else but me hold him!!! I have no idea why, but he's going through a second phase of only wanting me if I'm around. If I'm not in sight, or just not there, he's fine with other people. He won't even let DH hold him if I'm there. It's really wearing me down some! I never did get a good baby carrier, so maybe I need to, I just don't know if he'd sit in one at this point

@CecilB93 mine is (almost) 4 and I'm still does the same thing! How was the Property Brothers? Was it a seminar?

@notthefather we'll see them this coming Saturday! It's the Kansas City Home show, so they'll do a presentation of some sort I believe, then we get to meet them for a book signing. I've never actually been to the Home show, so not entirely sure what to expect! I'm just excited to meet them! Lol

A baby carrier only works for us if we're walking/on the move. My LO has been super clingy and wants to be held all the time. My back feels like it's breaking, but thankfully she's OK with DH or grandma holding her too. No one else though. She's also super small (17 pounds) so that's nice.
