My Walmart maternity jeans arrive today! I am so excited. Probably won't be going to get them for a day or two due to snow so that's depressing. Will post pics and reviews when I get them! Eeeep! Hooray for stretchy pants lmao
@lap018 it has stopped snowing, fingers crossed the roads are good enough to go into town tomorrow morning!!! I can't wait I'm so over regular jeans. I know in one of my UO posts I said that I didn't like wearing leggings as pants... but I mayyyyy end up getting a couple pairs of leggings and or yoga pants lol

I am very curious... I've only worn jeans from Buckle the past few years.. walmart never ever looked right on me. I cannot fathom wearing walmart jeans now. Please tell me how these compare!

@daniellelynette the perk to not being able to leave your house, pants are optional!
DH asked me what a man cold was. I told him it's what he's had for the last week and a half. He responds with, "I haven't been that bad!" Sure, sure DH, whatever you say lol

So, DH had Flu A. He had a 101.8 fever, chills, vomiting, and laid in bed freezing feeling like crap for 5 days. I scolded him about not getting the flu shot and told him he needed to get it to avoid the worse Flu B that hits in the spring! He said "psht the flu wasn't that bad..."
Really???? You missed a week of work!!! And asked me to cook you chicken soup with saltines!!

@Sugargirl1019 I have only ever bought one pair of jeans from Walmart and they were actually really awesome, I still wear them all the time! But it took a lot of searching through some serious turds. I'm hoping that maternity jeans will be a little different... maybe since they're from different brands? So far I've only been unimpressed with one Walmart maternity brand, but I have some really nice t-shirts and stuff from other brands. Plus these jeans were only $13 per pair so I won't be too upset if they aren't what I thought they'd be! I'm remaining hopeful until I get them!
@Becky012016 it's too cold for no pants lmao I've got DH's pj pants on and they are soooo comfy! I love wearing DHs pj and sweat pants.
I just can't imagine buying jeans online. My butt and hips are just too big and unwieldy to be able to buy pants or jeans without trying them on first. (Also, DH told me this weekend that he thinks my butt has already gotten a little bigger. I though so too, but didn't need the reminder. Of course, he loves it and thinks that's fantastic. I am...less enthused.)
@HollyGolightly09@mrsmgsee I'm so jealous of you two lol the highway is now closed because of the snow, so I really couldn't go anywhere if I wanted. Not surprising, Wyoming is a temperamental lady! The sun has come out and some of the lighter stuff seems to be melting off, thank goodness. My nieces birthday party is this weekend three hours south in my hometown and I don't want to miss that either! But man what I wouldn't kill to have 70 degree weather. DS and I would be outside playing! Oh and I would love a beach too!!!!!!
It's only a high of 60 here today- everyone in San Diego will be wearing coats tonight, haha! We're such babies, and it's shocking how quickly you adapt. I know I'll really miss the weather when I'm sweltering and then freezing in Manhattan this summer and fall/winter!
It's 28 degrees here right now lol! And the wind has been absolutely ridiculous. But I will most likely be wishing for this in August lol! I'm such a wimp about heat.

Lol, that's how our weather was this weekend..highs around 60. I froze all weekend, even though the low was about 50. I'm not meant for the cold!

I lived for about 10 years up north in Ohio and Michigan, and when I was a kid I thought 60s was a nice summer day. Now I plan to wear a sweater for 60 degree weather. It's funny how you can adapt so quickly.
I would be happy if summer never got warmer than 75 and just about cried when I saw 80 degrees in our 10 day forecast. Give me lots of snow please! (Not happening here in SoCal though /-: )
FFMC? DH and I have talked about our next move being back to WA state where we met, where my family is, and where his extended family is. I'd rather move back to CO, except I want to be close to my family. Pretty sure CO is in my blood now after living there for 4.5 years.
@carebella I want to move back to CO so bad!!! DH was living in Greeley when we started dating. But he moved up into Wyo shortly thereafter. He lived in Fort Lupton for a while with his mom. I've got family in Pueblo, I love visiting but hate leaving!!!
Ummm... is it possible for a woman to have a man cold? Because I'm officially a whiny pile of useless, laying in bed with my tissues, contemplating calling out sick tomorrow.

Haha I can definitely be worse than my H sometimes when we're sick. He's not much of a complainer though. But I'm such a baby when I'm sick!
@HollyGolightly09 and @ashley2824 I am a whiny complaining mess when I'm sick. Difference is I still end up cooking and taking care of the kids. When DH is sick he barricades himself in the bedroom and doesn't come out.

But you have an excuse! Pregnancy cold trumps man cold.
@lahearn18@daniellelynette I had an internal battle this morning about whether I should wear my regular pants or maternity pants. The maternity ones I have are full panel and feel loose. I didn't want to be pulling them up all day so here I am at my desk, already regretting my decision.

Ohhhhh nooooo!!! That's the worst when you decide to wear real pants and then you're uncomfortable all day I love my full panel jeans but I think my stomach is big enough to keep them up lol my muscles have already given up trying to hold anything in
I feel like if I am going to wear a dress I have to at least do my hair. I don't have the energy for that right now so I usually throw on leggings. Can't wait to start feeling better so I make myself somewhat presentable.
I'm looking into low-rise panel pants? Idk. Mostly because I wear an insulin pump and other type 1 mom's have said the low panel is better to put the pump in than the high full panel. Idk!
Still haven't gotten my NIPT back and I'm impatient. Rawr. I'm a lion

@lap018 Today is business day 7, 11 total days. Drawn Friday 2/24. Surely the weekend had to have some sort of work being done on the blood, right? I was just hoping!
I need to go get my car inspected.. but I'm laying on the couch.

@Sugargirl1019 yes I know they do because I had the verifi test done as well and it came back on day 7 business day 5! So I am just really surprised they haven't called you yet! Praying they call you today. I would be calling them but I wouldn't want to be THAT patient lol
@Sugargirl1019 I have a pair of the low panel handed down from a friend and I notice they can be kind of uncomfortable at this stage (I'm 12 weeks tomorrow). The ones I have are pretty tight, so that they stay up, which is nice. But when i sit it hits me right where I think baby is. It feels..... not great. Maybe later on they will be better.
I bought a belly band yesterday so that I can just wear my normal pants open a little bit and it is FANTASTIC. I feel like I'm being hugged, it keeps me warm, my button doesn't pop, and my jeans don't sag!
@lap018 Yea I'll only call if it gets to 15 total days... I'll annoy you all every day until I get it back, but not the office. Yet. was just hoping I'd get lucky on early results!

Guys. I got my Walmart maternity jeans. I LOVE THEM. Seriously they fit great, they're actually comfortable, they aren't weird in the crotch like some of my other maternity jeans, and the band is long enough and stays up really well!!! I'll put some pics in the spoiler box. I'm so happy that I got these definitely would reccomend to a friend!
This pair is a medium, comfortable but there's enough room and stretch to grow
Also a medium, but the legs seem a little longer than the others, will probably try to shrink these a little in the wash. These are a small and they fit snug, will probably wash on cold and avoid shrinkage. But still comfortable and the panel is just as high as the others!
