36 week appointment on Wednesday. I'm actually pretty nervous for it since they'll be doing an ultrasound to check baby's position and I know he was breech at 28 weeks. Really hoping the spinning babies exercises I've been doing will have encouraged him to flip since then.
Man I wish I had a massage on the books for the week, sounds amazing! Regular and now weekly (what?!!) OB check on Wednesday 3/8 and I'll be 36 weeks. Time does seem to be dragging yet I'm blown away that I am almost 36 weeks already. Both don't seem possible!
37 week appointment on Tuesday. Will get results of the Strep b test (Ive been neg 4 times before so I don't expect to have it, but I also know that can certainly change) and an internal (if I'm so inclined). Had a ton of contractions and cramping after the last exam a few days ago so I'm leaning towards 'no thanks' like I have in the past. I do have a strong feeling baby will be early, but I'm crossing my fingers and toes that I make it at least until 38 weeks since my older son (kiddo #2) is turning 8 on the 12th and we are having a small birthday party for him at a trampoline park that day! My sister is also due on the 12th with her second. Anytime after that is fine, haha!
My 36 week appointment was moved from last Friday to tomorrow because my doctor had a surgery that was running later. Probably just the usual BP, urine test, weight, fundal height, and HR.

OB appt tomorrow (Monday) -the first of my weeklies! - for GBS test plus optional cervical check. I think I'll do this one because I would really like the assurance that everything looks good and she's head-down but will probably decline checks after that.
I wasn't supposed to have an appointment until next week with my midwife but after meeting with the OB I somehow landed myself a NST every two days starting this Friday ☹️
Ive only made the first three appointments and she said if everything looks good I probably won't need to schedule any more but they would like to monitor the baby due to my elevated blood pressure.
I was screened for pre-e last week and all signs point to no - which is good.
I'm going in for an u/s on Tuesday. I'm measuring several weeks ahead again so the midwife wants to get everything checked out. Pray for my lady bits when I birth this toddler.
Routine checkup on Tuesday at 35+2, which will be the start of my monthly appointments! I think it'll just be the standard stuff plus the GBS swab, but the midwife mentioned last time that they have you do it yourself, which removes a lot of the awkwardness, of course. They're making sure to schedule me with all the midwives in the practice since I just transferred to their care, so it'll be with someone new.
I was given a gift certificate for two prenatal massages as a Christmas gift, and I really need to schedule them! Hopefully for this week or next for my first one.
Busy week for me this week! We had our labor and delivery class this weekend, Tuesday I have prenatal yoga and an osteopath appt for my back, Wednesday I have the consent class at the hospital to sign all my paperwork, Thursday I have a breastfeeding class and DH and I are attending a baby basics class together, and finally Friday I have my routine 36 week appointment with a position ultrasound and I'm assuming a group b swab.
Just had my 36 week appointment at 36+1. I had a BP reading of 141/77 but that was over a thick sweater. When my doctor took another one just on my arm it was better, but she wants me to monitor and call her if I get one over 160 or have a few over 140. I'm getting another U/S next week.
DD #1: April 2017 DD #2: May 2020 Baby #3: EDD May 2023; MC October 2022
Family/maternity pictures this evening, 36 week appointment on Wednesday, then hospital tour that same evening. Chiropractor on Friday. I'm really getting emotional and excited at the same time. BH continue on a frequent basis, but no discharge/bleeding, so I'm not worried. I'm going to get onto DH to get the car seat installed this week, too.
Thank y'all for reminding me to schedule one more prenatal massage before LO arrives. It was heavenly.
Appointment was good this morning - I did notice that my BP had crept up a bit (122/76 compared to 124/70) but nobody seems concerned about it. GBS test plus cervical check (which was pressure but really not too bad. I think the "pinch" sensation from pap smears is worse. I know it's different for everyone though) and I'm at 1 cm and 60% effaced! Plus baby is head down! I had a celebratory donut this morning once I got to work.
Next appointment (plus possibly an ultrasound, insurance coverage pending) is next Wednesday.
Routine 34 week appointment tomorrow morning. Should just be a BP check, fundal height check, she will feel my belly to check baby's position, listen to heartbeat and I have a couple of little questions. I think I will bring my birth plan to ask the midwife if she thinks it will be helpful for the nurses. And then tomorrow I schedule the rest of my appointments up to my due date. Next week is my last week without an appointment! what?!?!?!

I had my 34 week appt today, and belly and heart measured fine. I'm like the rest of you ladies...one more, then I go weekly! Saturday we'll be taking DS to a sibling class...that'll definitely be interesting!
36 week appointment today and growth ultrasound. Because of my ridiculous numbers I will be starting insulin which makes me sad. I'm down a pound but she was measuring in at a good 5.10 so I'm not worried. But I don't really trust weight measurements at this point either because they can be so inaccurate. They will be calling tomorrow to schedule my c section tomorrow for 39 weeks. Eekk!
Appointment today went well - all seems good! I'll get the results of my GBS swab at my next appointment. Met another of the midwives, and I'm happy with her, too! I definitely like this new practice much more than my old one. I haven't had to wait longer than 15 minutes past my appointment time yet, and they clearly review my chart/history before seeing me, which I really appreciate.
As an aside, I cannot f-ing believe I'm at the weekly appointment stage!!! Where has the time gone?!??!??
Edited to add: Finally booked myself in for a massage on Thursday. Cannot wait.
My appointment yesterday was ok, but weird. My midwife had a student midwife with her who was the most awkward person I have ever met in my life. I normally don't mind students coming in. They usually mostly just stand there and take notes and occasionally ask or answer questions. This time the midwife was really trying to let the student take the lead and it was horrible. Honestly. She had this annoying checklist of things she had to ask me. I really just wanted to talk to my midwife about how I am not sleeping at night anymore and ask her about my now hour drive to the hospital. The student clearly had nothing to offer me as far as answering my questions went. She just gave me this special little piece.... "These are all normal pregnancy symptoms. Sometimes pregnancy is just uncomfortable." No shit, Sherlock. I get that. I sort of just wanted to tell her to shut up and let the grown ups talk for a minute. Also, maybe she should look into another career because she was just horrible. She went in to feel baby's position while I was laying on the table, like the midwives always do. She was feeling around so vigorously that I unintentionally shouted when she was feeling baby's head way down in my pelvis. She didn't give me a warning or anything just reached into my pelvis and grabbed baby's head. And after I yelled she looked at me like she was about to scold me and told me that she was just trying to feel baby's head, "because it is important that she is head down". Seriously, is it?!
Anyway, after I was finally able to talk to the actual midwife for a minute we decided that I should give Unisom a try and see if that helps before we try some other stuff. So, I took Unisom last night..... I SLEPT SOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I feel awake for the first time in weeks, although it did take me a little bit longer to wake up this morning.

Appointment this morning was good! I had only gained 1 pound from my last appointment two weeks ago so I was excited about that haha! Heart rate was good, my bp was great, confirmed baby is still head down yay! Had GBS test and should know the results of that tomorrow. 4 weeks left give or take!!
Total mess of an appointment yesterday. For starters, the OB came into my room by mistake and started the exam, then realized she had the wrong patient, and left me to go see the correct patient for 15 minutes while I was nekkid from the waist down on the table! And it ended with me having to be sent over to maternity at the hospital straight from the office for an NST and fluid check since the baby's heartrate spiked up to 200 during the exam so the OB wanted it looked at - so I was hooked up to the monitors for over a half hour where the heartbeat continue to jump up into the high 180s and the tech had me all sorts of freaked out. Fluid level was good though (13?) and I was sent home with no explanation. Finally talked to the OB hours and hours later after calling twice and she said everything was fine as long as the baseline comes down and that the accelerations (spikes) corresponded with nice fetal movement. Ummm ok. But now I'm back for another NST tomorrow and a growth scan next Tuesday in addition to my regular 38 weeks appointment on Monday. Good news is baby is still head-down and strep b was negative. Still 1 cm dilated w soft and 50% thinning cervix. After all that yesterday I'm taking no chances. Washing the last of the baby clothes today, ordered breast pump and diapers, and hospital bag is packed!
I had my 36 week appointment yesterday. GBS test results should come back tomorrow and I am eager to know if it's positive or negative (was positive in my first pregnancy, I've been taking probiotics/ probiotic-rich foods to try to get a negative result). I had a labor walk-through with the midwives at my birthing center also. It made me realize how soon this is happening! I found out that the midwife will do a home visit first then either stay with me in early labor if I want or keep calling DH to decide when to come in to the birth center. I love the reassurance that someone is willing to be with me the whole time! Weekly appointments from here on out and I am supposed to get a 36 week ultrasound in the next few days since I'm trying for a VBAC. Can't wait to see my little man again, not much longer until we will meet in person! ❤
Had my 33 week appointment today. Tested me for strep B and did some blood work (not sure what that was for). I didn't gain any weight from my last appointment which I was happy about. I met the midwife (usually just work with the OBs) she doesn't deliver but she very helpful. She suggested that when I hit 36 weeks I start to primrose oil capsules vaginally at night that will help to soften the cervix. Anyone else heard of this or done this?
Oh and to add to my fun pregnancy symptoms, I asked about a rash I just started getting and she told me I have PUPPS. Only real cure is delivering the baby.
Edit: I also go back in 3 more weeks for my next appointment, then I'll switch to 2 weeks.
@aboxofchocolates, I did EPO orally and vaginally before my second birth for a few wks. Regarding the vaginal ones, do it directly before laying down for bed or it leaks out and is messy. You poke a needle in the capsules and insert them. Panty liners are helpful too at night in case you get up to pee.
@MWoodside I'm sure I could just google this, but since you have experience. Are there reasons why you would choose one over the other, regarding orally or vaginally? Which do you prefer?

@aboxofchocolates, I too used EPO last time starting around 37/38 weeks I think. I need to go look up how much to take again as I am going to start taking it again this time probably next week. I firmly believe it helped soften and thin me. I also drank Red Raspberry Leaf tea last time and believe it helped with labor/contractions etc so I have been drinking that this go around as well. After I get through my crazy week that I don't "want" anything to happen, I am going to get both of them going with a vengeance!
Sooo- i had my weekly appt today and I nduction begins Monday night so fx I will have a baby on Tuesday. Her size has fallen to the 6th percentile, her tummy is still measuring in the 5th, and she's only gained about 300 grams in 2 weeks. Estimated weight today was just over 5 pounds. Her NST was fine
(I think?) but the OB decided it was time to pull the rip cord, so to speak. So no April baby for me!

@twistsandturnsto2, thinking of you! @mrsstuessy, I do both ways, but if I had to pick I'd say vaginal to help thin and soften cervix.
my appt today was ok. to preface, I have anxiety during pregnancy due to 2 prior losses. So that is constant until babe is healthy in my arms. Last night, when I was readying my girls for bed, I was talking about how babies sleep a lot at first. My oldest (6) innocently said 'what if the baby is born sleeping?' I explained that would mean the baby wasn't alive so I sure hope not. She felt awful and apologized and I reassured her I know she didn't know what that meant or mean it that way. But it was SUPER triggering for me and I've been in an internal anxiety spiral after that perseverating about this now. I cannot snap out of it and keep having panic attacks.
so of course my bp is high today at my appt- 130/100, very high for me. The dr began to talk about taking me off work and I'm like well I think I know why and it's not work related. After the nst it had decreased to 120/86 so that's better-ish but I'm still stuck in this anxiety spiral. Ugh.
@twistsandturnsto2, T+P for you and your little ones. Please keep us updated if you can so we can follow you on your journey. @MWoodside, that would have been a trigger for me too. I hope you were able to talk about it with your Dr. or someone you trust to help you manage your anxiety.
