I frigging hate the beach. I don't hate looking at or hearing the ocean, but I hate sand with a passion. My MIL has a few condos in Panama City Florida and every year we go there and take the kids. We are currently planning this year's trip for April or May. I'm a hobbyist photographer and while I LOVE making photographs of my children in the sand and by the water, I just hate getting sand on myself, even just my feet. If I could just sit up in the condo on the balcony and look at the water that would be perfect.
@kschref native Floridian here and sand is the worst. I never hated it until I had my DS and now it's like an evil that can't be contained. My biggest tip is bring baby powder, it'll help clean the super fine sand off your feet easily.
I'm eating boxed mashed potatoes with my lunch, and sometimes I want that way more than real mashed potatoes.
@kschref I'm neutral about the beach. Sand doesn't bother me too much, but I don't love it either. I am terrified of any water I can't see the bottom of. Stepping on something unexpectedly, even if it's totally innocuous, is a nightmare for me.
@ArtificialRed what?!? Boxed mashed potatoes over homemade? That's just craziness.
My UO: I'm ready for all the symptoms. I'm not even 5 weeks yet, but bring on the morning sickness and sore boobs and everything. I want it all. (I should probably be careful what I wish for.)
Edit: TB keeps eating my post

UO: I can't stand Adele, listening to her music on the radio at work drives me to change the station (it's my radio). I sometimes feel like people get really offended by that lol

@ArtificialRed omg my husband is the same way. I'll offer to make real potatoes and he says no and makes boxed mash!
Okay, if someone else offers to make me real mashed potatoes, I would for sure choose that over boxed. But if I have to make them, boxed is fine. Maybe that's why they taste so good, they taste like saved time and effort
@kschref my dad has a house in Panama City Beach and we go every year! We will be there in May for his wedding!!
@BayCamp I do not like coffee at all either! My parents used to own a restaurant/bakery and I made cappacinos, lattes you name it but can't stand the taste! I do however LOVE the smell!!
@ArtificialRed I grew up on boxed mashed potatoes and I bought a box a few months ago because I thought it might be easier to make for a quick dinner but my husband outlawed them in the house!! Haha
I have never been a fan of super natural and I watch too much tv for my own good! Not a fan of the walking dead either.
@bpietronicco - If we end up being out there at the same time we'll have to meet up for lunch or something if you don't have too many wedding obligations.
@kschref I agree with you about the beach. We were stationed at Panama City for about a year. In that year I think I went to the beach twice, both times I went begrudgingly and I swear I was finding sand for a week. I'm also super pale, so any outdoor activity that involves large portions of my body exposed to the sun are not my thing. I basically have to swim in SPF 100+ sunscreen and I'll still get burned.

UO: I have never watched and never plan to watch Supernatural. I feel like it's SUPER popular with people on TB.
