I miss you ladies over here so much. The BMB just isn't the same. No one follows the rules ! It's a messy free for all.
I go to my first appt on the 15th. I will be 8 + 2.
@NYTino24@m6agua - In the past, the general happenstance was that Grads were tagged until they gave birth, and once the LO came, they could share pictures, etc. and usually after that first postpartum check-in they weren't tagged anymore. As in - we followed the grads through until the end of the pregnancy, and once LO is born, that's kind of the last check-in. At that point if we're curious we can lurk their BMB or message them directly, but usually by that point it's a new TTGP crowd coming in who doesn't recognize them anyway (which is why we didn't usually follow grads for the rest of their LO's lives ).
And if you wanted to remove anyone who's been tagged but hasn't checked in in a few months regardless (which makes it seem like they don't want to, for me at least, and that's their choice), that'd remove these guys:
To make it easier to keep track of in the future, you could categorize them by BMB. ie:
Paging: Feb 17: @ , @ , @ .... (for one last PP check-in) March 17: @ , @ , @ , ..... April 17: @ , @ , @ , .... .... Nov 17: @ , @ , @ , ....
and just have all the relevant months up so it's easy to take out everyone from the same BMB at the same time ??
Just a thought because I`m a dork and enjoy organizing things like lists lol. I'm also on holiday this week, so if you want me to spend the time to sort out the list, I can do my best! @NYTino24@izza2

@m6agua I think we normally try to remove tags after we hear that LO was born because the post is copied the next month and been names are added. I started on this board in May 2016, so there are a few names at the top of the list that I don't recognize and haven't seen respond to check ins, so I haven't deleted them. That's why the question about when people were active was added. Since your LO is 3 months old, your BFP was over a year ago and I'm not sure there are too many people who would recognize you. It's up to you, but most questions are about active pregnancies. Thanks for checking in! We love our grads.
That is what I thought. I did the first PP check-in but haven't since. I do come back to check on everyone because I do recognize a handful of these names still from a different board I was on that is now done for . I love the idea @bigbadwolf12 had. Glad my question sparked conversation on organization. I love organization .
Im super excited for all you ladies and I can't wait to come back to TTGP. There was so much love and support. Currently I am TTA by tracking BBT with FF and my charts are so F*d up! This board gave me the courage to say no to birth control after delivery, hormones are no good for me . I'm hoping to come back to this board in 2018 sometime, but still lurk for now.
GL to all you ladies! H&H however many months you have left!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have a list of three names picked out. We have one we are leaning more towards, but we will wait until we see her sweet face to make a final decision. Each name has a lot of meaning for one or both of us.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm waiting for a final ultrasound in about two weeks to decide my fate. I have a low-lying placenta. My OB said that if the clearance is 1cm or less, I will be having a c-section. If the clearance is over 2cm, I'll be set for the vaginal delivery I want. At my last appointment, my placenta was at 1.5cm. As of right now, my OB is leaving it up to me. I'm thinking if it stays at 1.5cm, I will go ahead with a c-section. My OB is confident I could handle vaginal delivery with my current measurements, but I don't know if I want to go through with it with all of the risks involved. FX for my 36w appointment in hopes that Little Miss has shifted her position enough to move the placenta and allow for a vaginal delivery. I just want to try it and see if I can do it. No matter what happens, though, I'm just thankful that she is healthy and growing.

Hi! Thanks so much for the tag. I still stalk this board, and the graduate thread regularly. This week's made me cry happy tears for some of you ladies, which might be creepy considering you may not actually remember me. But the support here helped me get through a tough time.

He also wants to name a boy Asa, like the character from Outsiders and I'm just like no. I'm not giving my kid a mountain man name. Haven't really talked about girl names because he's convinced we're having a boy. Because he only makes boys. Because that's totally how it works. But I like Paige, Harper, Lily, Adeline and Eloise so far for a girl or Gabriel or Tobias for a boy.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? In case anyone missed our exciting journey, Ambrose was born at home with meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS) and was immediately taken to the hospital by paramedics. From there he was airlifted to Salt Lake City, avoided ECMO, and spent the next three weeks recovering in the NICU. Things looked really, really bad for a time, but he's truly a miracle baby and pulled through with little to no long term damage. (Time will tell, of course, but for now he's totally normal. This, after the neurologist predicted severe brain damage from the lack of oxygen.)
Anyway, I don't want to bring things down on here or anything, but if you're interested in reading about our journey, please feel free to visit my website, emilyIRL.com. I did daily updates from the NICU there. It's worth visiting, just to see the amount of hair on my little dude

We. are. so. bad. about. this. Seriously. DH and I have agreed to at least narrow it down to a top 3 for each sex as our next priority after we successfully sell the house, which should (hopefully) be completed by the end of this month.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I am now receiving daily kicks from the baby and DH has been able to feel them as well, which is very exciting! The tummy is growing more round, which I can tell DH is thrilled about. Boys. I'm so happy to see a lot of names I recognize posting here! I wish you all the very best on your pregnancies (or now LO's) and can't wait to see how everyone is doing in the April check in.
I'm all for correcting tags with typos and for organizing them by BMB (thanks @BigBadWolf12)
Personally I vote to continue tagging until LO is here. You never know why people didn't check in, even a few times in a row. Maybe they're on mobile and missed the tag. Maybe they were busy and when they remembered, it seemed AW-y to kinda zombie the thread. Maybe they're struggling with PGAL brain. It doesn't hurt anything to keep them tagged. If anyone doesn't know the person and doesn't care, they can skip that check in. There are a number of us who do remember them and would be glad to see their check ins.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I am so happy about this week's grad thread. I'm rooting for all of you so much.
As for the check-ins, I think aside from removing people who have done a PP check-in, I don't care if people are tagged every month even if they don't check-in. Some names I don't recognize because they got BFPs when I was on a break or avoided TTGP because of personal reasons, but a lot of the names I still recognize and love their check-ins. Just pointing out how many people are tagged who don't check-in -- BUT, that brings me to this discovery...
I think part of the problem is that if you copy and paste, I don't think the tags actually work to send notifications anymore? I'm tagged every week on a copy/paste thread elsewhere and I don't get notifications anymore for it. I think TB makes it so the tag doesn't actually send a notification when you copy/paste from thread to thread, for whatever reason. Whomever is starting the check-in thread may have to actually type the tags out every month, or try to copy/paste them from a Google/Office document instead of from the previous thread. Sorry, I had word vomit there in that explanation, but I'm hoping that makes sense? I know there were problems with people not getting tag notifications last month.
@izza2 I didn't get notified in February, but I did get a notification of the tag on this one, so maybe TB is fixed in that regard?
If copying and pasting does prove to be a problem after all, the person setting it up could probably copy from the last thread into a NBR place (email body, word processor, notes on phone, etc.) and then re-copy and paste it back into TB on the new thread. Then anyone can make the check-in without having access to a NBR document with the list or typing out all the tags, because that would be a bummer.

@BigBadWolf12 - I hope it's fixed! I know the weekly thread I'm tagged on is started on Mondays and I haven't gotten notifications for it since the first/initial tags were put in. Maybe it's just a group-thing, and copy/pasting works outside of groups? *shrug* I hope that's the case!
I also love your idea for organizing by BMB for easier removal of tags. I was thinking about that when I was looking at who should be PP by now, and thought about how much easier that would be to figure out.
@izza2@BigBadWolf12 I think the issue with last month was that the tags were added in an edit, which TB doesn't send notification for. I've never seen an issue with them not working when being copied/pasted as I did that one month when I started the grad check-in and I no one PM'd me saying they didn't get the tag.

IDGAF about tags, or if people want to lurk the board and post that way. I was offering help, because I know there were issues with people not getting tag notifications last month, and @NYTino24 mentioned not recognizing some of the people who were being tagged. I thought I made it pretty clear I didn't care what happened, and that I was just worried some people weren't getting those tag notifications because even while they lurk, as another PP said, they may not want to bring the thread back up if it's been quiet for a week and they're just seeing a notification because they're usually mobile.
But, I guess that means I'm micromanaging. Because I apparently told everyone what to do. ETA: Oh, I guess by micromanaging you meant that I shouldn't have pointed out that half of the list are people who are postpartum (some by 4-5 months) and that's why some people may not recognize their names? Gotcha.

It's funny because I was thinking the same thing about organizing by BMB on my way to work today. I copied January's check in and added a few names after spending a few hours checking out names I recognized on BMB TTGP check-ins. Ones that were added later didn't get a notification. This time I copied and pasted them into a Note on my phone and added, then copied and pasted back onto TB. I have taken out anyone who checked in to say LO arrived, anyone who had a known loss, and I add those who weren't tagged, but others added below. Hopefully no one gets upset if they are accidentally left out. (I know I was forgotten during my short pregnancy!) That will make it easier the next month. I hope people realize it's a lot of work. If we want to forego the tags next month, that's fine by me. I have been active here for 10 months, so I do recognize most names. Anyone who is / was truly active will know to stop by at the beginning of the month anyway.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

And I love that you "have things to do" like you are so much better than anyone else who partipates on this board. You're not dear. You're the same as everyone else so go a head and put your phone down and pretend you're not itching to read the replies you get in some faux scheme of misguided grandeur.

As in - we followed the grads through until the end of the pregnancy, and once LO is born, that's kind of the last check-in. At that point if we're curious we can lurk their BMB or message them directly, but usually by that point it's a new TTGP crowd coming in who doesn't recognize them anyway (which is why we didn't usually follow grads for the rest of their LO's lives
But I agree on needing to go through and remove some of the tags, and update them.

@Mrscorker is an October '16-er
@ShallowSeas @NordyMN89 @comealongponds @AdmiralKitty @atcwag are November '16-ers
@DiFazette @RatsPJ @cjt121413 are December '16-ers
@sldp123 is now a few weeks PP and did a post-birth check-in last month
@canavara @ChaoticWolf (previously @PaukMeKiande) @Lecool @kellybean1988 @canavara @cabu14 @loveinak @mylitta are a January '17-ers
And some tags are on there twice.
Taking out anyone who's PP and hasn't checked-in in a few months or has done a PP check-in, this would be the list:
And if you wanted to remove anyone who's been tagged but hasn't checked in in a few months regardless (which makes it seem like they don't want to, for me at least, and that's their choice), that'd remove these guys:

and just have all the relevant months up so it's easy to take out everyone from the same BMB at the same time ??
Just a thought because I`m a dork and enjoy organizing things like lists lol. I'm also on holiday this week, so if you want me to spend the time to sort out the list, I can do my best! @NYTino24 @izza2

EDD is 10/13 right now but I have my first appointment on Tuesday.
We will find out.
Oh names. My husband like the name Breslyn and Dominic for a boy. He also like Xander. I see a Vin Diesel trend here.
Nothing yet! Except we got a new vehicle to fit our growing family on Tuesday. Nissan Patherfinder. We love it.

First name will be Sawyer. Middle name was going to be James but my father passed away last month so it may be Barry now, after him. Thought about doing both but am picky and don't like that the initials would be BJ and don't like the order of James Barry.
Happy to see this thread continuing to grow and all the "new" grads. Wishing you all the best!

TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
Personally I vote to continue tagging until LO is here. You never know why people didn't check in, even a few times in a row. Maybe they're on mobile and missed the tag. Maybe they were busy and when they remembered, it seemed AW-y to kinda zombie the thread. Maybe they're struggling with PGAL brain. It doesn't hurt anything to keep them tagged. If anyone doesn't know the person and doesn't care, they can skip that check in. There are a number of us who do remember them and would be glad to see their check ins.

PG #2, EDD 10/12/2023
If copying and pasting does prove to be a problem after all, the person setting it up could probably copy from the last thread into a NBR place (email body, word processor, notes on phone, etc.) and then re-copy and paste it back into TB on the new thread. Then anyone can make the check-in without having access to a NBR document with the list or typing out all the tags, because that would be a bummer.

I also love your idea for organizing by BMB for easier removal of tags. I was thinking about that when I was looking at who should be PP by now, and thought about how much easier that would be to figure out.

And I love that you "have things to do" like you are so much better than anyone else who partipates on this board. You're not dear. You're the same as everyone else so go a head and put your phone down and pretend you're not itching to read the replies you get in some faux scheme of misguided grandeur.
I'm sure the air smells great up there in LaLaLand but you've got no one fooled. And no one has ever accused me of being a WK before but hey, if the shoe fits on this occasion I'll wear it. I just hope it's a wide because I've got big feet. Izza can hold her own, but she's my friend and I won't just stand back when someone erroneously blasts her.
