WAYDTGKU: all the usual, plus our testing got to a point where we've been referred to an RE (I'm not sure how it is in the US, here we had quite a long run of testing before the RE).
R/R: I'm kind of psyched to go to an RE. I understand that it might not be the most obvious thing to be happy about but still, it feels good that we are going forward. These past months have been a bit dark for me. At one point I actually told my husband that I'm fed up with the timed BD 'obligation' (which, I might add, he took like a true fairy tale prince of my life that he is -- meaning I saw he was hurt, obviously, but he did not flip out or anything and let me make up for this stupid thing I said). Now with the appointment approaching I am happier, calmer and.. hopeful again..

@cdnrunning@Anna_1021 DF is going to come with me. Lol, I wish that were enough, I get SO irrational. Like, screaming "Your killing me. Why are you doing this to me." I have no clue where my fear got so strong. The last time I had bloodwork done they had to threaten me with bringing the doctor up to do it - apparently they aren't nice about it. I know it doesn't really hurt - I have excellent veins to draw from. @Anna_1021 I am just getting routine work done and she threw on a couple of horomones. @Anna_1021 Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday is the end of carnival season. Carnival season begins Jan 6 and is a celebration/time of indulging before Lent/fasting begins. It is mainly celebrated in the South. It's basically a giant party.

@FLAshley I’m
not quite as bad as you but I don’t like needles either. When I got blood drawn recently, the
phlebotomist just chatted me up to distract me and it made it slightly easier….maybe

feel kind of tingly, it’s a bit of an odd feeling.

Nope, but not really looking forward to fasting for Ash Wednesday. A small part of the reason I was hoping last

for Lent. I know, I’m a horrible
Catholic.

@FLAshley maybe try distracting techniques like listening to music while getting it done. I did that with the dentist and it helped a little but they still knock me out for anything complicated. Good luck!
@Anna_1021 I'm glad that you are finally seeing an RE. The up side is you are going in with a lot of info for them already so you can hopefully make a plan at your first appointment. Good luck!
@Cricket648 that happens to me all the time but I am queen of procrastination. Hope you can get in the right mindset soon and just get it all done.
@TigerCakes Welcome and I am right there with you. Doesn't matter how long you have been trying, the disappointment is just as real. My husband was so sure it would happen these past 2 cycles that we had a bet riding on it and he tried so hard that I feel so sorry for him but I guess it just wasn't our time either. FX that this cycle is the lucky one. We just have to keep trying until it happens.
@FLAshley I passed out when I got my initial RE blood work done so I hear you girl. I pop music into my ears and tell the nurse beforehand NOT to tell me anything that she's doing. I also lay down for a while afterward and have something sweet, like juice, to help balance sugar levels.
Oops I meant HSG next week. It has to be after AF but before O so I scheduled for next Tuesday. Thank you @BertieMeetsGertie!
@lulu1180 I'm seriously laughing at you over here wanting to be KU so you don't have to fast for lent! There is still a chance for you to miss most of it though so FX for you!
@Avrilmai thanks for the info. Interesting that it is very similar to the Caribbean where there is traditionally a Carnival (big street party type not games and rides type) on the Monday and Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
gl @mispanda. We might be cycle twins this time around. @FLAshley - I can't watch the needle go into my arm. If I see any part of the process, I faint. I know its weird, but I always play games on my phone when they take my blood. Maybe something like that helps because it takes your focus away from what's actually happening. @anna_1021 - I hope your RE gets you answers! Jump on in, @TigerCakes! Welcome! @LoveInDC - Sorry guuurl. While I usually don't wish CD1 on people....but...I mean.....I really hope you get out of this never ending cycle soon. And glad the pup is doing better! @BertieMeetsGertie - I'm so glad you're getting your heat back! Silver lining: we're having a mild winter here. @flashley this is a slightly odd suggestion but have you tried meditation? @FLAshley I used to be horrible with blood work/needles. My mom and one brother are champs and donate blood, etc. My other brother and I are horrible (but my brother is worse and has passed out twice). Since I've had to get blood drawn four times since July on this TTC journey I'm totally okay with it now. Yesterday I had blood drawn and I barely felt it. I'll admit when I was 17 I had seven vials of blood drawn (because I had yet to start my period--anyone surprised I have PCOS?) and I was freaking out so the nurse made the doctor do it. I ended up starting my period within a week. I was pissed. @safire3 Sorry for CD1. @JJMNO1616 Yay for house hunting!!!

Also, I told myself I wouldn't go crazy SS this cycle and I wouldn't Google (this is only the second cycle that I've ovulated...if I even ovulated)...but of course I'm going crazy SS and DH Googled and told me. So that's out the window.

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, added fish oil, no caffeine (wanttt, but just being cautious), so much HIO. We are tired. I haven't had a drink in a loooooong time.
R/R: Feeling impatient today. But we have started planning our anniversary trip and I'm so excited! We're doing a Euro road trip this summer, going to a few different countries. So hoping I'm KTFU for it so it'll be a combo anniversary and babymoon trip. It'll be really fun either way, I can't wait! DH is so good with points it's also not costing us very much which is excellent.
CS/Q: Not a CS but what is the benefit of red raspberry leaf tea and pom juice when TTC? I see some of you are taking it

GTKY: Any plans for Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday? Nope, but not really looking forward to fasting for Ash Wednesday. A small part of the reason I was hoping last cycle was it is because if you’re KU, you don’t have to follow the fasting rules for Lent. I know, I’m a horrible Catholic.

@Avrilmai thanks for the info. Interesting that it is very similar to the Caribbean where there is traditionally a Carnival (big street party type not games and rides type) on the Monday and Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
@FLAshley - I can't watch the needle go into my arm. If I see any part of the process, I faint. I know its weird, but I always play games on my phone when they take my blood. Maybe something like that helps because it takes your focus away from what's actually happening.

@flashley this is a slightly odd suggestion but have you tried meditation? Its a bit a head of the game but hypnobabies is this birthing technique that uses relaxation and "self hypnosis" to get through labor. I did not get to give it a try with labor but I have found that the relaxation techniques have come in handy if i'm stressed or nervous (or at the dentist!)

Not really. We don’t drink or celebrate Mardi Gras. So it will be a typical Tuesday for us. On a separate note, I did spend a St. Patrick’s Day on Bourbon Street during college…that was quite the experience. The things people will do for beads is a little disturbing.

My LP the first cycle was 11days with 4 days of spotting leading up to AF and this cycle I had spotting on 10 DPO (yesterday) and AF started today. I'm feeling discouraged by how short my LP seems to be. I know it's only been 2 months post BC but I'm a worrier. Nope, I'm boring. Back in Michigan, where I am from origionally, everyone eats these oversized donuts called Paczki's today. I personally find them kind of gross though which is probably a good thing because they have like 1000 cal each.
@cdnrunning I'm making that this week too! It was @LuND who recommended it. I'm excited to try it!
@Anna_1021 Glad to hear things are moving forward.
@Dilynne GL at your appt!!

@TigerCakes Welcome! Everyone has moments like that. Becoming a part of this community will help
@lulu1180 yes! I have had that tingly nipple feeling before, at different intensities, too. On Saturday I got a massage and at the very end, while I was on my stomach, I'm not sure what nerve she hit, but my nips were on fire! I almost had to ask to stop early. It continued for about an hour and a half after that. Nipples are weird!
@haylsbayls My DH is out of town too and I was actually thinking of doing breakfast for dinner! I say do it!

CS/Q: Temp is still climbing. It's as slow as that little mountain climber guy in that one The Price is Right game, but it's climbing.
GTKY: Any plans for Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday? I had a fashnacht. That was good enough for me

@dragonfly87 - *TW* so sorry for your loss. Not to be super creepy, but I remember you from when I had my loss because it was about the same time.

@JJMNO1616 Yay for house hunting!!!
Month/Cycle: 12 / 8 (I think?)
CD: 20
WAYDTGKU: all the things, but FW should be over so just PNVs & BBT right now
R/R: Waiting on the results of my progesterone level test yesterday! FX so hard that I actually did ovulate. DH & I were talking about how it would be more crushing to find out I didn't ovulate at all than to find out I ovulated but didn't get KU. Also, I told myself I wouldn't go crazy SS this cycle and I wouldn't Google (this is only the second cycle that I've ovulated...if I even ovulated)...but of course I'm going crazy SS and DH Googled and told me. So that's out the window.
CS/Q: I hate my chart. This is my first cycle temping though. No CH, so I'll just move to TWW if my test results are positive.
GTKY: Any plans for Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday? Never done anything for it.

R/R: My sister wants to come and stay with me, But I`m not sure I want to deal with her drug issue while I`m TTC.
She thinks coming " home" will help get her back on track, But she`s been struggling on and off for 8 years and needs professional help.
CS/Q:Nope
GTKY: Any plans for Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday? Nope
CD: 18
I see some of you are taking it
GTKY: Any plans for Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday? No, but I love seeing all the king cakes people are making on my Insta feed
