Hey everyone, I'm going to be taking a break from TB. DH thinks I'm getting too in my head and stressing myself out too much and asked if I'd be willing to stop bumping for a while. He says while it's great that I've learned a lot, it's still early for us and this should be fun and exciting, not as stressful as I'm making it, only 2 cycles in. He's not insisting I have to or anything, but I decided I will for him...and I have to admit, he's kind of right. Thank you for everything you've all taught me in my short time here, and all the support you've given me. I am sincerely rooting for each and every one of you to get your BFPs ASAP. Though I'll try not to lurk, it'll be hard to avoid the November BMB and the TTGP grad thread!
@DuchessOfCambridge FX for you!!! I get where you're coming from. I think I may end up taking a break (at least from posting...maybe not from lurking) until we actually see an RE.
why do i keep getting random Sanderson farms chicken ads playing on the bump? it is so weird and annoying. they have sound. How am i supposed to be all stealth on the bump at work with chicken ads playing all the time

Oh, and PS, back to our "do you see what I see" friend and the tests thread... What is wrong with people that they have no shame about nasty backgrounds on their images. If you aren't going to clean your bathroom, it's still easy to at least put the test on a paper towel. Or, while we're at it, to wipe the pee off the outside of the test. Or to crop the steamy, splattered clear cap out.

@hartmich I'm sorry for your insensitive SIL. Unrelated, but I also thought the GG reboot was a little weird. It got much better by the second half, but it definitely felt like they had to get back in the swing of things.
@dragonfly87 so I'm not sure what you're looking to spend, but I have two pairs of riding boots. I'm pretty picky about boots, but I love both pairs. One pair are Frye's, which are expensive (thank you to my fabulous MIL who has serious connections and got them for me at a great deal). I'll second @heatherdubrow (and everyone else who chimed in), I love them!!!
The other pair are Corso Como. They are super comfortable and I got them on sale online (I think from Gilt) for like $100. They're holding up really well and look better with age.
@dragonfly87 jumoing on the Frye boot bandwagon. Love them. I have a few pairs and they all last forever. I would suggest checking out eBay - they've got a good selection of Fryes for waaaay cheap. Also therealreal.com always has high end designer consignment stuff and I've gotten some great boots there.
I finally got AF- within an hour of drinking red raspberry leaf tea (which it probably totally coincidental. But still). It was either that or the Beer and Bratwurst potato chips I horked down after work. Either way, I'm very glad it showed up at home and not at work. Now to update my chart!
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
TMI Alert! I have learned very quickly how much being on BC has surpassed my libido. I've only been off it for two weeks after being on it for 8 years and I want to jump my DH's bones all. the. time! My DH really doesn't know what to do because normally he has to really coax me into some sexy time or even some cuddling. A part of me thinks that the excitement of TTC our first child has a little bit to do with it but my skin is all tingly and even the slightest thought of sex makes me aroused. The worst is my DH is at work all day and won't be available at lunch time.

@justkeepswimming8 I was hoping that when I went off BC that would happen to me. Nope. I'm sure I will feel different when DH and I are done TTA though.
If the ovulation predictions on my calendar are accurate, I won't be able to get KTFU until September at the earliest, even if DH does visit- all his possible visits would be before/after my FW.
Excuse me while I go eat an entire chocolate bar/my feelings.

Why did you ladies have to mention Frye boots....I am so in love with these pairs of boots....
But I just don't know if I could justify spending over $350 for a pair of boots....even though they give a $25 coupon and I could get 3% cash back via Ebates....
Sigh.
ETA: I found the same pairs on Zappos for 24% off!!! Does 1) anyone know if Zappos sells the legit same brand? 2) do Frye boots hold up really well?
I spent about $50-$60 on a pair and get maybe 2 years out of it. So if I could manage 5-6 years (of mostly winter/fall reasonable wear), I could probably justify spending about $280 on a pair.
@dragonfly87 Yes, they hold up really, really well. I actually have the 2nd pair you posted. I love them, they are extremely comfortable, and they have worn beautifully. I will note, the calves are pretty narrow. I suspect that they would stretch nicely, but I'd just keep that in mind if you would normally purchase wide calf boots.
@JJMNO1616 I am OBSESSED with that effing giraffe - WHEN IS SHE GOING TO HAVE THE BABY!?!
@jsnakehole I feel you. DH will start working out of town next week, and if this current cycle doesn't work out, it will be AT LEAST 3 cycles before our timelines will line up... and I say at least because I stopped counting after 3 because I was getting depressed about it.
