  • @laceyc1020 congrats on your scan!

    @sableeg congrats!

    @icecubeinthedesert and @rainafire77 glad to hear from both of you. Sorry you are going through this again

    my pgal brain is going crazy today. I have an ultrasound tomorrow. I am terrified they will say something is wrong. I agree with pp that I feel like I will never enjoy this pregnancy.

  • @Hopefulmommy1980 FX at your appointment tomorrow!

    We have our first appt with the OBGYN tomorrow after being released from RE. We found twins at our first ultrasound two weeks ago at 6w3d, so I'm just praying they are both in there thriving still! It's so scary but so exciting too! Try to enjoy it.

  • @rainafire77 - You have every right to be angry. And I think you're on to something regarding what you said about some doctors becoming complacent and dismissive. Yes, some miscarriages happen for a reason (chromosomal abnormalities, developmental issues), but there are some that could easily have been prevented, had the proper steps been taken! For this reason, I agree with @sableeg that running an extra lab or two on blood samples could save lives. I have no idea why this isn't standard practice. I'm so crushed for you and I'm so sorry that you've had to live through this. On the bright side, now you know of the underlying issue and hopefully you can move forward and have tons of babies without any further complications! And I'm so happy you won't be seeing that doctor anymore. I agree with other pps that some strong words are in order.

    @icecubeinthedesert - This is just as much for you as it is for @rainafire. I would be absolutely livid if I were in your shoes. I can't believe they didn't tell you and how dismissive your doctor was!! Just infuriating!
