Holy carpal tunnel! Starting last Friday, I started getting the pins & needles feeling in both my hands. Doc said it's very normal and just that I should wear a brace at night if it gets really bad. It's just uncomfortable, can't really make a strong grip, slight achiness, just weird.
Otherwise, that's really it! I'm working from home today with a nasty cold but that's just because of gross people at work spreading their damn germs. Or all the people I keep making out with... whatever!

I for one am still not showing signs of mono because I haven't been making out with my husband. Ha! But it's the worst. A few hugs but no cuddling or anything else for three weeks now.
Otherwise my primary complaint is that I just feel really fatigued. When I'm moving around at work or otherwise fairly active I feel like I'm not getting enough air and that my blood isn't circulating well so I feel tingly in my extremities. I wonder if more stretching and mild exercise would help, though when I try it feels worse.
My boss kindly gave me a wedge to sleep on and my sleep has improved dramatically. Highly recommend to those with reflux. It's not easy to find a comfortable position on a wedge while prego but once I do I sleep much better.
Also baby girl spent four days being quiet and I kept reminding myself she's got less room to do big rolls and movements. Then last night she had a three hour long dance party and I felt better. Haha. Keep dancing Lucy!
For me the heart burn has begun. I sleep like crap probably EON and my ribs are rrally starting to ache. Going to thr chiropractor today so hoping it helps.
Last night and into this morning i was having pretty painful BH (i think). It freaked me out. I'm hoping it was just a combi of BH and having gas? Not sure i have an OB appt today so I'll def be talking to her about it.
Oh, it other news, my originally 34G boobs have gotten even bigger. I got resized and now i have 1 bra thats a 34 GG, 1 thats a 34H and one thats a 34 J. Wtf. They dont like much bigger tho, and I'm much more comfortable.
If feel like this week, all of a sudden the aches and pains have intensified. I think this baby is transverse, because my ribs feel like they are splitting apart. I got out the yoga ball last night to try and bounce this baby back into a much more comfortable position for mama.
Anyone else having severe gas in their chest? It almost takes my breath away. It is sharp, stabbing pains under my boobs, like around my heart and lungs. I can only assume it is gas pains, as it occurs soon after I eat, but will go away within an hour.
@rachelmiller03 I got that all the time when pregnant with DS, especially in the third trimester, and still got them afterwards too. I think yogurt helped me, but I know dairy can make it worse for some people. Hope it goes away soon!
It's like a flip switched when I hit 30w, I am EXHAUSTED but I have been sleeping better through the night so that's helped a bit. I'm having a really hard time walking, and usually towards the middle-end of the day I start having BH contractions. All my pain is around my hips/pelvic bone, I may have to start seeing a chiropractor soon. Also, LO has discovered that my ribs are his favorite spot to tuck his feet, so that's been exciting lol.
Oh yes, not so much a problem but a pregnancy symptom for sure: I started noticing all these flyaways in my hair that I couldn't tame, and realized they wouldn't lie down because they were all only 2-3 inches long! They must be the hairs that started growing as soon as I got pregnant, due to all that progesterone. It's weird but kind of cool. I just look like a moron with a halo when I don't have time to spray them down. Though I will say that my super strong fingernails that I had in my second trimester are breaking a lot now. But that could also be winter.
Some of these baby kicks are starting to get painful. It feels like he's trying to break out of my uterus! I am definitely not complaining though - even though they hurt, I still love them so much (they are literally the only part of pregnancy I enjoy).
@kitkat8387 I was just complaining about my baby octopus! Certainly great for reassurance, but Christ Almighty this child moves a lot. And he or she must be laying sideways bc it's also straight out on the right side like they are stretching their legs! Ouch! Otherwise Im hanging in there. Noticed this week that I seriously have to pee all the time. I can't run even a single errand without budgeting time to hit a bathroom and it takes me a little while to fall asleep so I usually end up peeing twice before catching some shuteye. Now that the chiropractor took care of my backpain I'm pretty much just starting to feel large and in charge in general, but can't complain too much. 7 weeks till showtime! And we accepted an offer on our old house today and they want to settle in March so we may actually be done with all of that before baby time. Amazing!
The lower back pain/hip pain almost had me in tears today. It's gotten so much worse over the last two days and DH just rolls his eyes. I legit wanted to punch him.
Also, I was told yesterday that I've started waddling. I had no idea but I have no doubt that it's because of this pain. I really did think I was going to be able to make it longer without waddling but I guess not.
The tailbone pain has gotten worse and I don't know if it's because I'm sitting more or what. I don't notice it at all unless I sit on a hard surface so at least that is good. Such an odd "symptom" but I've noticed my nose has gotten wider. I've read about it, but didn't think it would happen to me. I don't think anyone else can tell, but I sure can.
Two people in the last two days have told me that my baby looks like she's "dropped" recently. I am trying not to let this concern me, but I thought it was a little early for that? Haven't been experiencing BH or anything indicating early labor..... maybe she's just changing positions.
Morning sickness is back. Full force. Left work the last 2 days. I have an appointment Tuesday and I just hope I can make it through Mon and Tues at work.

@schef070911 In my experience, most pregnant women I've talked to roll their eyes and say they're tired of people telling them it looks like their baby has dropped. As in, it seems to be a common thing for people to remark on who have no idea what they're talking about. I wouldn't take it seriously and I'm sure it's just baby's position.

Oh, no! What a cruel joke Just hearing the words 'morning sickness' makes me feel ill. I hope it doesn't last long for you.
My hips have been hurting so badly for the last 3 weeks or so. Not muscle but bone pain. I haven't slept through the night since it started, because I'm constantly switching sides to alleviate some of the pain. Oh, the joys of the 3rd trimester.
I'm so sorry so many of you are in pain, but it selfishly makes me feel better because I know I'm not alone and it is all normal. As for me, this week has been crazy with discharge. I have to keep changing my underwear a couple times a day because it is just so damp. This does not go well for me and my leggings either.

Pantyliners! The only way I've been surviving through the day.
This week was rough. Baby moved into a malposition of some sort. Either breech or oblique, I can't tell, but it hurts. And I feel less movement which makes me nervous. I need to locate my maternity belt and do spinning babies moves.
Im so exhausted. DD2 has been waking me several times a night and I'm a zombie as a result. Running errands leaves me breathless.
@wagnerw I had a racing heart a lot in the first trimester and now occasionally in the third. I saw a cardiologist and had a few different tests done (had to wear a monitor for two weeks which was awful) to make sure nothing was wrong - all tests came back fine and the doctor said that major shifts in hormones can sometimes cause your heart to race. It can also be caused by anxiety issues. I'm sure there are other reasons but those were the main two that were explained to me.
@wagnerw I have had a racing heart as well as my heart skipping beats since the 1st trimester. I did with DD1 as well. My midwives and OB last time have always explained the reasoning as just my blood volume going up which can cause either one of those. That being said I have had a few panic attack type episodes in the last month and that takes a lot longer for my heart to slow down, but that is more of an emotional thing for me.

@wagnerw I had that in the first trimester a couple of times. Panicked a little too. But now when it happens it's usually after eating when my body is rushing to metabolize what I ate, or if I stand up too fast or something. I did ask my doc at the time and he said it's not unusual with the volume of the blood in the body trying to adjust. But if it happens a lot I'd say something.
Back pain like no other! I'm considering seeing a chiropractor, I didn't know this was an option....I had a complete meltdown with DH two days ago. The thought of 9 more weeks.....Also, I dread night time!
@wagnerw I've only had it once while recovering from a cold/sinus infection, and my OB said it could have also been my body coming down from the medications I was taking (either the z-pack or the sudafed). I stopped taking Sudafed just to be safe and I haven't needed antibiotics since thank goodness!
So much pain. I can barely walk today. My pelvic bone and tailbone are killing me. My back and hips ache.. and indigestion coming and going today.. I'm going to do nothingbut sulk until I go to work.. good news is it's my last day!
@beemaya83, definitely give a chiropractor a try! I have been going once a month this pregnancy and it's been helping so much! I may start going every other week til the end soon.
OK, this may be tmi but I have had diarrhea so far 3x this afternoon....I feel fine for the most part otherwise but is there anything to help or at what point if any that I worry?
@beemaya83 and @happyanjel I second @mylittleirvz suggestion ... I can't say enough about the chiropractor! About a month ago I came down with debilitating lower back pain out of left field. Overnight I could barely lift my 2 year old son out of the crib anymore and was crying in pain trying to walk and climb stairs. I tried a heating pad, sleep positioning, yoga, baths, ice, stretches, belly band, exercise, muscle relaxants, pain relievers, acupuncture and the chiropractor ended up saving me! Saw him 4 times in one week to get my pelvis back in alignment, but now I only have to go once a week and I am pain free. It feels like a miracle! Good luck!
There is a chiropractor with great reviews down the street from where we're moving. I'm happy to hear such glowing reviews about chiropractic care. I've never seen one, but am very willing to try anything to diminish some of this discomfort.
Anyone still feeling lot of movement in their cervix area? Does that mean little guy is breech? He's big enough that I'm feeling body parts, but I can't distinguish between his head, tush, etc. to determine his position.
For those considering going to see a chiro, I 100% recommend it! I've been going since 14 weeks and it has helped immensely! I've had back problems for a good chunk of my life where I would get adjusted once a month or so, but now I go 1-2 times a week. She also works on my round ligaments. I've had next to zero RLP and my back is no different than pre pregnancy, which is awesome. I really think those visits have been a huge help.
@KirstinH88 for me, I tend to go a few days without a bm and then after some yogurt and fig newtons I'll have a day where I have four. It's....fun.
@akslevin yes. Lots of crotch shots and still a lot of kicks to the butt. I seriously feel this child in my butt cheeks all the time. I have no idea what that means. But I think it's her head, because I feel her feet in my ribs. Or at least I assume so. I have no idea how to tell. But the crotch shots are heavier and the rib tickles feel small and dainty.
@HGRich I'm contributing it to eating like complete crap yesterday. For dinner I had a pizza with pepperoni and jalapenos (spicy!!!) and then for dessert I had....(FFFC) a Toll House cookie ice cream sandwich, swiss rolls, and an oatmeal creme pie. I think my body is like "WTF lady?!?!"
@mylittleirvz HAHA!!! This is so not typical. DH's friend came over last night and they were talking about all kinds of yummy snacks. So they couldn't control their impulses and bought a ton of stuff from the store. I should NOT have eaten that much garbage. But I had been craving an ice cream for a while, so that was nice.
I am so over being tired because of insomnia and only sleeping on my left side. I wake up to my ear feeling like it's been crushed(because it has) and I'm just so damn uncomfortable I can't sleep very deeply. And the nausea in the morning preventing me from having a cup of coffee is just the icing on the cake ::::rolls eyes:::::

@wagnerw I have also felt my heart racing recently. Between that and being out of breath from climbing stairs at work or just from teaching a full class I don't think that I will ever catch my breath!
I am really hoping that this isn't a sign that my blood pressure is going up. I did have elevated bp towards the end of my pregnancy with DS, but I don't think that it started this early. It never developed into PreE or anything, but it's a worry that I have.
@chelle087 if it helps, I've had the out of breath and blood rushing/heart racing stuff from the first trimester and my blood pressure has been excellent at every appointment. At one point it was bad enough that I went to a Walgreens clinic to check it, but it was really good, and the problems I was having were normal!
