@purplg8r I'm so sorry it turned out this way, hugs to you girl It is good though that your doc is so prompt with the tests. As for the SA, DH was so nervous about it, but he went alone. I thought about escorting him too but i guess it would have made it even more uncomfortable for him.

*Lurker* @purplg8r so sorry for your loss. My insurance covered my HSG, because of how my ob coded it. My insurance didn't cover anything else for fertility treatments or for the SA, but did cover the HSG. I guess there are non fertility related reasons to get one, but I have no idea. It might be worth checking.
@purplg8r I am so sorry for your loss. Huge hugs. Most of the other ladies have covered your SA question. My insurance though it does not cover IF stuff will cover an HSG because its a diagnostic vs treatment. As for the AMH they are testing anti-mularian hormone which can be found in the blood and is an indicator of your ovarian reserve. AMH varries with age but is an indicator of how many eggs you have left. If your AMH is low than the chances of getting KTFU is less. If you have any other questions about testing feel free to pop over to the testing thread. Oh and as a reminder CD21 testing (for progesterone) is not necessarily CD21, it should be 7dpo. Again I am so sorry your going through this. we're here for you if you need to scream, cry, a glass of wine or anything else

@purplg8r I'm really sorry. I am going to echo @wabash15 and encourage you to join us on the testing/ treatment thread where collectively we have had all the tests. @wabash15 also did a good job of explaining the AMH test but you will likely also get an FSH test which tests the quality of your egg reserve. So AMH = quantity; FSH = quality. Please take good care of yourself and know we are here for you.

I'm so sorry @purplg8r. I can imagine how absolutely torturous it's been for you waiting to get answers and now getting bad news. So glad you're able to move forward with testing and I wish you all the luck in the world
ETA I initially contradicted @laurad75's post but I didn't read close enough and she did say "quality of egg reserve" not "egg quality." Sorry, lady!

@eggplantface There is officially no gif of Data from Goonies yelling 'that's what I said booty trap'. So disappointing.
Well that is just unacceptable. For shame, internet.
