Any new symptoms or changes? Severe heartburn. The worst.

GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met in the Army, we were in the same unit, different companies. We met in August 2005 and were married Sept. 2005. We had only known each other for about 3 weeks. We deployed to Iraq a week after getting married. We've been married for almost 12 years.
How big is baby? Sweet potato, artichoke, sugar glider!
Appointment updates? Just (not so) patiently waiting for my A/S on February 7th.
Any new symptoms or changes? Not really, looking forward to June because apparently that'll be when I finally stop feeling congested. Otherwise I've noticed that I have a bit of a belly that can no longer be sucked in and feels firm, it's such a funny feeling. Also feeling kind of sore when I wake up in the morning, I think I just haven't quite worked out how to get comfortable sleeping.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm petite, only 5 feet, and getting to the point that I will need maternity clothes soon so I started browsing and apparently no one seems to think that small people get pregnant. I was irrationally pissed off at the situation yesterday.
GTKY: How did you meet your significant other? (Stolen from Thursday) We met in college through mutual friends who were dating. Our college did a beach week at the end of the year and he asked my friend to put in a good word for him and I told her he "wasn't my type." Woops! Good thing he was persistent.
How big is baby? A banana

Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling pretty good (knock on wood). Have energy to workout and sleeping well. I think I've start to feel movements but they are few and far between.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I've had people tell me I got "so big so fast" for a FTM. Thanks...
GTKY: How did you meet your significant other? (Stolen from Thursday) My husband went to college with my best friend. We met about 13 years ago and started dating when we both moved and reconnected in Boston about 9 years ago.

Appointment updates? Monday the 23rd for my anatomy scan
Any new symptoms or changes? I feel the baby kick every day now
Rants/Raves/Questions? I toured the hospital yesterday. They recommend 2 different classes for FTMs. The only times that work with my work schedule are Saturday from 9 to 4.
GTKY: How did you meet your significant other? (Stolen from Thursday) We originally met in drivers training when I was 15. We went to different high schools and didn't have texting or Facebook so we lost touch for about 5 years and then got back together.

Appointment updates? I had a regular ob appointment and my a/s with the fetal imaging specialists yesterday. Everything went great!
Any new symptoms or changes? Not really. I am pretty tall with a very long torso, so I get away for a while extra without the heartburn and back pain and general organ swishing. There's a lot of room in there.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I think we are going to get the nursery painted this week. I'm excited to see how it comes out!
GTKY: How did you meet your significant other? We had mutual friends in grad school and met at a Christmas party. I guess he was interested in me, but I was dating someone else and didn't really notice him. We always checked our campus mailboxes at the same time though, so he approached me again a few months later. My bf had broken up with me in the meantime so I was like, "Sure, what the hell, you don't seem terrible. We can hang out. Rebounds are fun." Then he turned out to be awesome and we got married 5 years ago.

Appointment updates? We had our A/S this morning! It was super sweet to see our LO again and Drs. said everything looks good! Confirmed I have an anterior placenta, but on the higher side, so it hasn't been impeding feeling baby down lower. Still playing for team green!
Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling baby every day now, more like kicks than bubbles or pokes. Feeling a little bigger and noticing that's affecting how movement (yoga, etc) feels.
Rants/Raves/Questions? A bit of a rant: I'm definitely experiencing an increase in my dreams - frequency and remembering them. Unfortunately, I guess, they all seem to have a negative emotion. Not so much nightmares, but just trials and angst, sigh. A question: we learned in the A/S baby is breech right now. Dr. says they almost always flip between now and delivery since they're still so small and mobile. Hoping this is true, and not too focused on it now, but curious if anyone else has encountered this at some point?

Appointment updates? Anatomy scan was Wednesday and had to be done by someone outside the clinic I go to due to illness/scheduling issues. The person who did it was very cold and almost rude. Thankfully I talked to my MW today and things look good, but will need another scan soon-ish to look at some things that the original scan didn't get.
Any new symptoms or changes? I actually feel really good right now.

GTKY: How did you meet your significant other? (Stolen from Thursday) I was visiting my parents and they wanted to go out to a local brewpub to see a band that included some friends of the family. I met everyone, but didn't think much about it. Two months later I was at the same place seeing the same band and the keyboard player ended up flirting like crazy with me. I wasn't interested, but to shorten a long story, we slowly got to know each other as friends and I ended up falling for him. Thank goodness he was persistent and patient! My father (somewhat jokingly) takes credit for picking out his son-in-law, though he had no intention of DH and I getting together.

Appointment updates? Had an appointment on Wednesday, heartbeat was 140!
Any new symptoms or changes? Nope
Rants/Raves/Questions? My blood pressure was still higher than normal for me at my appointment (by about 20-30). Doctor doesn't seem worried, but he has me freaked about preeclampsia.
