Swollen Fallopian Tube

Hi Ladies.  I had my first ultrasound last week and everything with baby looked good.  I was 6 weeks, 6 days and the heartbeat was 135!  However, the ultra sound tech also found a swollen fallopian tube.  The tube has fluid around it and apparently a blood supply.  During the consultation with the doc, he said there was a 1 in 40,000 chance that it could be a twin pregnancy that implanted in the tube (thus the blood supply)----or it could be nothing and resolve on it's own.  I have to go back i 1.5 weeks for another ultrasound to check it again.  Has anyone ever heard of or dealt with anything like this?  My doc didn't seem terribly concerned...but a little stumped!

With my first pregnancy they initially thought it could be a heterotopic pregnancy (one in the uterus and one in the tube) but after some follow ups they figured out it was nothing and it resolved. I don't remember them saying anything about it having a blood supply or anything though. Hopefully it just resolved itself!

Well, I went to a follow up appointment, and it looks like the fallopian tube issue has resolved itself!  They mentioned that it may have been a cyst, but whatever it was, it's gone.  Thank goodness!!
