Suddenly today I want chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. DH is getting it now, while I wait in the car with a sleeping 3 year old. We just got out of the Dr...he has an ear infection. Poor little guy. It's his first one.
@ams512 he was duck hunting right? What do you do with his ducks? I've really only found one recipe that I've liked this far for DH's ducks and we have so many in our freezer.

Thanks guys. Now I want crab legs, and I am in the northwest corner of montana in a small town, so none of those just laying around. Today I asked for pretzels and mustard and DH went and got me pretzels. Craving satisfied . For now at least. But I just LOVE sour cream on a baked potato. Last time I had one, it came back up and the skin hurt my throat so I haven't had one since, but I think I am in the safe zone now, so I will make one for lunch.
Today is girl scout cookies. Lol but as for cravings is been jalapeño flavored things.
That was me when I was pregnant with my son- jalapeño flavored chips would be my go to breakfast food everyday for months. I'd even wake in the middle of the night to eat some!
ETA I also gained 60 lbs when I was pregnant so I don't suggest eating chips constantly for 9 months straight
@ams512 we get a king cake shipped up every year. My granddad started it and it reminds me of him every year! Also I now added every thing I need for gumbo to my grocery list.
I meal planned for the week and am just hoping all of it still sounds good tomorrow. Homemade pizza with sausage, peppers and onions, buffalo chicken wraps, Philly Cheese Steaks, Gumbo, Meatloaf with loaded mashed potatoes (more for DH and kids) and skillet chicken & rice. As of now I want it all.
All the juicy, tart and sweet combo fruits like oranges, pineapple and strawberries. And vanilla ice cream. If you put the fruit on the ice cream, I swear it's like I died and went to heaven.
I don't make it often because it's so unhealthy. Plus, he eats the whole loaf in one sitting. I'm definitely going to surprise him with the buffalo chicken variety though.
DH and I went to the store just now to buy some necessities for meal prepping his lunches this week...we walked down the cereal aisle and I saw cinnamon life cereal and I HAD to have it!
so now I'm eating a big bowl of cinnamon life happily

This is pretty much what I get every time I go to a frozen yogurt shop (like Pinkberry or Sweet Frog). The plain/original with fruit. DIVINE.

Is anyone else OBSESSED with carbonated drinks? I'm craving soda, but I try to avoid it as much as possible. I'm drinking flavored, carbonated water and can't get enough. The funny thing is that I've never really liked soda.
I feel like eating is my new job.....seriously. Every day for snack it's been a warm pretzel (auntie annes or super pretzel) and an apple with peanut butter, sometimes a smoothie, and then of course, lunch and dinner and breakfast too. I've been trying to stay ahead and keep my tummy moving with fiber so quinoa salad or spaghetti squash lunch. We make pizza with dough from the store 1 time a week sometimes twice, nummy! I keep wanting cookies (seriously I think first word when I was little)--but I see them and then I don't want them. I love being able to have a cup of coffee a day again but I am not as addicted as I was pre-pregnancy now with so many weeks without (morning sickness). It used to be popcorn, lime flavored tortilla chips, but for now...as much. Any fave snack y'all?
Still can't get enough buffalo chicken wraps. I bought a new kind of chicken because they were out of the stuff I usually buy and wow so good. I think the new and improved chicken has extended this craving indefinitely. My mom is here right now and made a batch of her homemade Caesar dressing so all week I've planned dinners around what goes well with Caesar salad.
Iv been eating alright but my hubby decided to make me smores today, I truly enjoyed that! I really really really want to make a chicken burger at home but I'm so so so lazy now! Today I was craving some pasta bolognese so I made that! Anything that I'm making myself just doesn't taste good to me anymore

I got a soda stream for myself for Christmas because I'm obsessed with sparkling water.
I've also been craving apples and I'm not a big apple person.
@virginiaunicorn11 I didn't like blueberries before I was pregnant with dd and then I was eating them everyday - sure enough, they're dd's favorite and I don't think a day has gone by without blueberries for her!
No cravings currently but my go to food is corn flakes with extra cold milk or those weight watchers smart ones mini meals. I eat more oranges and apples but I can't stand strong smelling stuff so no fish/seafood, bacon. I'm nauseated and puking all day and night so it's so hard to want to eat anything.
I was finally able to eat chicken yesterday. Huge victory! I'm eating better than earlier in the first tri. Still more carbs than normal, but I'm not sure when that need will subside, or if it will at all.
I'm all about whole milk Greek yogurt - Trader Joe's sells great little tubs in various flavors. They're not too sweet either. Still mostly craving salt, when normally I have a huge sweet tooth.
I have been craving crawfish and king cake. DH is in Louisiana for a hunting trip, I'm going to get him today. And he said he'd bring me some! I am drooling right now, it's all I can think about.
@oheliza44 do ya'll have king cakes down there? My sister can hardly find any in Shreveport, most bakeries haven't started making them yet. DH said only one walmart had them (not a real king cake but when its the best you can do, it's fine). I'm so sad I won't be in LA for Mardi Gras this year, I'm making red beans and rice and gumbo all month.
Order one from Paul's Pastry Shop. They are the best.
I'm craving all the foods! Jimmy Johns is my jam and the only place I'll drink soda b/c their Dr Pepper is magical, chips & salsa, berries, apples, pizza, anything Mexican. I'm sure I'm forgetting something!
Why does everyone keep saying fountain soda? Is that what you would call it irl or are you just using that phrase for this forum? So would you also say canned or bottled soda? Is there a big difference? I find when I go somewhere else I hate fountain soda and prefer from a bottle.
@CarsonsMommy he is from Columbia Falls (by Kalispell). It's a little more east than Libby. Still in the middle of nowhere though!
Oh cool, I am not loving the winter here. We just moved her from San Diego. But man is it beautiful in late spring, summer and fall. We just bought 31 acres with a view of the Kootenai river and it is pretty mountainous. There are huckleberry plants all over the place on it! But just trying to get through the winter while going outside as little as possible. I just want a horse again, I would love the winter if I could just ride.

Huckleberrys are one of my favorites. And I had never heard of them until I met my husband (I am from Connecticut). I would love to have that much land on a river or lake. Would be my dream. Just not sure if I can do it in Montana! My husband would move back tomorrow though if I said yes
Yeah, so Green Giant just came out with their veggie rice, mashes, and tots. The mashed cauliflower is pretty good...however...I just got a bag of the broccoli & cheese tots. I CANNOT STOP EATING THEM. THEY ARE SO GOOD.
