Upcoming appointments this week? nope, had two this past week and got to see the peanut and then hear the heartbeat.

Any new symptoms or changes? i'm hoping that the morning sickness is getting a little better.  but i may be faking myself out. and now i'm hungry, like HUNGRY, all the time.

Rants/Raves/Questions? rant that my DH's car died this week, we had been nursing it along for the last year or so and we needed a new car to hold 3 LO's as of July anyway, but i am just not really to shell out the money for a new one right now. 

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order?  i'm so embarrassed to say I HAVE NO IDEA.  i really don't have a favorite place to eat and that makes me totally lame.  i'll just say that i always choose restaurants that offer seafood, love to order seafood for dinner.

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm nauseous and have the worst headaches I have ever experienced. It's been rough.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I saw my OB today and she is referring me to a perinatologist because I'm high risk. I'm at risk for another placental abruption and because my blood pressure is also high that's a double whammy. I'm really hoping that it all ends up being totally fine and that the precautions end up being not necessary.

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? We have this local Mexican restaurant that is kind of a hole in the wall only locals really know how good it is, we eat there every single birthday or major event in our family. I love their posole and for my main food I get a smothered chimichanga with green chile, so good!

Upcoming appointments this week? I see my OB for a well check on Tuesday the 17th, just the normal stuff. 

Any new symptoms or changes?  My hormones are out of control.. either crying or being a total brat.  No in between. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? My blood pressure meds make me feel crummy, but my MFM doesn't want to change anything yet, just told me to "hang tight". Ugh. 

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? Huhot!!! I love the Asian salads and dressing plus the grill...yummm!

Goodie!  I've been MIA the past couple of weeks with the holidays and getting back into the swing of things at work.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing really...my boobs can be sore sometimes and it is almost time for me to have to go buy new bras.

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? I love Mexican food so much, and I live in Texas so there are a lot of good places to choose from.  My favorite place right now is called Mi Dia.  I usually gorge myself on the chips and salsa/table side guac because I have no impulse control, so then I'm not hungry for my entree.  I normally order their sea bass tacos - they are amazing!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I feel so unprepared for this pregnancy compared to last, but I guess having 2 toddlers to chase after will do that.

@cssme13 I'm sorry you have to go through that. I had a similar situation with my 2nd LO. Fx it all ends up being fine.  and you ladies have me craving mexican food now!

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, still two weeks out... Jan 25th can't come soon enough!!!

Any new symptoms or changes? Sex drive has been high the last week or so, heartburn and constipation also occurring regularly now.

Rants/Raves/Questions? It's pouring down rain in LA today! We're always happy for rain 

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? This is a tough one... today I'm in the mood for Pho, so I'll most likely order from a little hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese place downtown. It's cheap and so good! I just order simple chicken Pho and throw all the vegetables in and season with a little hoisan sauce. There's also a place in Pasadena that I'm obsessed with. It's a Thai/Vietnamese place and they make an amazing Tom Kha soup with seafood, Thia spices, and coconut milk broth. I love this kind of food!

Upcoming appointments this week? We saw our new midwives on Monday and were able to hear the heartbeat via doppler! Next appt. isn't until February 6.

Any new symptoms or changes? I don't know if my uterus is about to pop out of my pelvis or what, but holy crap my bladder is being squished. I feel like I've spent half this week peeing. Otherwise, not much other than sore boobs at night.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I told my boss about the baby yesterday, and most of my local colleagues today (we're a statewide network). Everyone is super excited to be "adding another baby to the team" since this will be the 5th in less than two years. It's so nice to have it out in the open!

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? Oooooh, we have a local Ecuadorian restaurant that I swear I could eat at daily. My go to is the hornados con mote - marinated pulled pork with white rice, hominy, and a tomato/pepper/lime salad. Oh, and a side of fried plantains. Because I have zero self control.

Any new symptoms or changes? I haven't posted this anywhere else because I don't want to get flamed but I have felt the baby move, 3 times in the last four days. I am a third time mom and given I haven't had an ultrasound yet this has given me so much peace of mind. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Found out today my beloved OBGYN is dropping my insurance company come may 3rd. Had to find a new one and finally found a good one today but I am still devastated 

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? Portillos, give me a beef with mozz and hot peppers even if I regret it when I am puking later. So good but so painful.

@Dcwtada Ahhhhhh, I'm so jealous of you getting to feel movement (but happy for your peace of mind). As a FTM, I know I'm pretty far out from feeling anything - it's what I'm most excited for so the wait is torture. And Portillos!!! My first "craving" was a charbroiled burger - it was our first stop heading home for the holidays. Though I don't know if it was a true craving or if it was a moved-away-from-Chicago-and-desperately-missed-it-anyway craving!

@RunRestRepeat I feel like my uterus is finally making it up to me, I was on the way other end of the spectrum with my last two - I remember spending every night and morning willing my baby to move so I could feel it. I remember almost crying at my 20 week ultrasound with my first and the tech said "can you feel that she is kicking up a storm" I laid there trying my hardest to feel ANYTHING and I couldn't. Not even imagined 

We buy the portillos catering kit so we can make the food at home - it's not quite as good but it's close and it does the trick. We are about an hour out from the nearest one but we go there for dates like most people would go to a fancy restaurant

Yum, Portillos is the shit! We have one in Anaheim, CA too... My favorite is the tuna steak sandwich and the chocolate cake shake!

@RunRestRepeat --Don't be!  We bought the house in August, and haven't had a kitchen since.  It's been torture.  We still need a floor, but at least I got to cook tonight!!!

Any new symptoms or changes? In a true January miracle, my sex drive is back!!! Nausea and fatigue are still here, but subsiding.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm just so happy to feel a tiny bit more normal - praying it continues!

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order? I don't know if it's my FAVORITE, but the place we get most often is a local chain called Pitfire Pizza. Very into their Sausage Party pizza (with sausage, bacon, and salami) and their linguine bolognese.

@Dcwtada - Thats awesome you can feel the baby!  Sucks about your OB though, I'm sure you felt comfortable with the practice if it was your third pregnancy with them.

Thank you @notachanski I am scared. I hemorrhaged pretty badly with my last two needing blood transfusions. And while I am sure this ob will be on top of it I just trusted my doctor. She was a spunky little older lady, very frank but motherly and absolutely no nonsense when it was anything serious or I had any problems. 

We we even picked this darn insurance plan because I knew they accepted it! Ugh but something similar happened last time, there are two hospitals in the area and one is much better rated than the other. I delivered my first at the higher rated hospital and for my second my insurance would only work with the lower rated hospital, I was upset. Then I had my son there (and this was only a year after my first so I know not much had changed at either place in hat time) and I absolutely LOVED the lower rated hospital - the nurses, the attitude, everything. It wasn't as pretty but I wasn't there for the scenery. Plus there was only one other baby there and no one gave birth while I was there so my son was absolutely spoiled rotten and if I needed anything they were on top of it. I am glad to be going back to that hospital for this one!

I am sorry ladies I don't get around to posting as much as I like, these days I tend to either be at work (overnight) or sleeping all day long!

How far along are you? 15 weeks

How big is baby? The Bump says a navel orange. But I am getting pretty confused on different sites saying different fruits

Upcoming appointments this week? Monday the 16th. No ultrasound which makes me sad, I feel like I need to see my baby to be reassured he/she is still there

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing new. Occasional morning sickness still but def getting better. The fatigue/ exhaustion is still ongoing and is feeling like its never going to end!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I had bloodwork done for my next appt and today the Doctor called me (while I was asleep getting ready for work tonight so the conversation didn't go well) My Hgb A1C was slightly elevated, it was also slightly elevated back in april but my fasting blood sugar comes back normal, so now I have to get my fasting blood glucose done again. This seems to be almost impossible to do. No eating or drinking for 12 hours????? UGH! They also let me know I was going to need the Rhogam shot, but I was already expecting that because I knew my blood type but I have no clue when that's supposed to happen due to me being asleep for the conversation!

GTKY: Where is your favorite place to eat and what do you order?  I love Mexican but have been avoiding all of it because I would really want a frozen margarita! Olive garden seafood alfredo would probably be my next favorite!
