@cssme13 WAY TO GO!!! That is so awesome, lady! I don't count as an internet stranger, but this fills me with pride and happiness. What a badass move and example for your kids! That takes tenacity. You've inspired me on a crappy day. Congratulations!!
Hooray @cssme13 !! Congrats mama, you deserve a celebration after all that hard work!! Your mom would be so proud of you

Edit to add that I found the biggest orange Fanta I could, took my final paper, and sat at my moms grave and read it to her. I cried tears of joy and sadness. She always pushed her kids to go to school and get degrees that we can fall back on. So far we are 2/3 with my baby sister still in high school who by the way is straight killing it with a 4.2 GPA her first semester. Just wish my mom was here to celebrate it all with us.

Eta: just read your update and cried my eyes out. Never forget that feeling. Emotion is what keeps us alive!
@cssme13 Wow! Congrats on that sweet accomplishment, and to your sister.

@cssme13 that's awesome! I'm honestly impressed with moms being able to concentrate and do school work. I had a hard enough time when it was just myself.
@cssme13 Your update is so touching! I'm sure your mom is so proud of you and she'll be with you in all your accomplishments!
My my dad died when I was 20, and not a day goes by that I don't wish he was here to celebrate my joys with me, but we keep the memory alive and we keep making them proud and that is what counts. Good for you girl.
Here is a weekend random. Sometimes I look at HDBD pics and freak out that something's wrong because I'm almost 16 weeks and don't look pregnant at all compared to others! Last untrasound was 14 weeks and baby measured right to the day as perfect! I just want a good bump already. It's just hard not to compare and worry!!!! I still have all my signs of pregnancy, so that's comforting.
ETA: dang....I put this in the wrong post!!! Grrr.
@cssme13 Congrats, lady! What an accomplishment, especially with everything you've gone through. I lost my mom my senior year of college, and pushing through was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I'm sure your mamma is proud!!
@LoveLee85 I know it's really hard not to compare bumps but remember there are so many factors that influence how much someone is showing. Ftm, stm, short torso, long torso, fitness level, style of clothing, etc.
Just want to AW myself because my hubs and I went to the casino in MD and I went up to a $25 slot machine that was just calling my name. I pulled the lever 3 times and nothing.. there goes $75, I told my husband "just one more pull" and as he rolls his eyes I pulled and won $9,000!!!!!!! Still on cloud nine over here!!!
@nktrodden826 omG I'm going to go next week now!lucky ducky. It was totally calling your name!!! I don't like gambling but I like 9000 right now very much so.
@OperaSingerMommy@BusyZee yes!!! Maryland Live! At Arundel Mills Mall!! What a fun idea for a bachelorette party! Did you win when you had that prewedding luck??
We usually go to Charlestown but my father in law won about $13,000 a week ago so we decided to try this casino! It's in the high limit slot room (they have $5-$500 slots) and he swears up and down it's the IGT (IGM...IGsomething) machines that have the highest and most frequent payout vs Bally (the other brand of machines) and sure enough!!

I think I won $80 and promptly spent it on drinks for my bridesmaids, haha. I'll have to check out that high roller room next time I'm in town. Enjoy your winnings!

Hahah thanks for the details! I'm seriously going to consider this, even though my inner morality is saying no but whatever, it's called good luck right?
