I've had some car issues recently, and I'm hoping it is a quick fix. We just dropped some change on new tires for DH's car as well as his annual maintenance. FX my car doesn't take another chunk out of savings!

GTKY: What do you typically order at a coffee shop (either pre-pregnancy, now, or both)?
I don't go that often, but when I do, I either get an iced green tea, french vanilla latte, or lately, hot chocolate. This baby loves some hot chocolate.

How far along are you? 28 weeks - 3rd Tri!

How big is baby? Eggplant

Appointments this week? Had a normal check and glucose test on Monday, didn't pass that so I go for the 3 hour test on Friday morning. Boo.

Symptoms? Very tired and feel like I walk like an old lady. Getting up and down from anywhere is an ordeal - bed, chair, floor, wherever haha! DH says I make lots of noises

Rant/Rave/Questions? Obviously I would rather not have to take the 3 hour test and hopefully it comes back well but I'm not devastated and upset or anything - more just annoyed haha! Any mamas have great tips on these few days leading up to it etc? I need to go re-read the couple of threads out there today hopefully.

GTKY: What do you typically order at a coffee shop (either pre-pregnancy, now, or both)? Usually I order an Americano (hot in winter, iced in summer) with a bit of flavoring - sometimes caramel but usually a bit of vanilla flavoring and brown sugar with room for a tad bit of cream. Mmm. I also like to get a caramel Frappe once in awhile in the summer for something fun and different.

Appointments this week? Glucose test on 1/18, next appt on 1/20.  That's supposed to be my 28 week appt but I realized I got pushed back a bit with the holidays so I guess I'll be 29w2d.  After that we switch to every 2 weeks.

Symptoms? I am also making a lot of noises - when I sit down in a low chair or couch, when I get up from bed, etc. Round ligament pain has stepped up noticeably and I feel it whenever I stand up from a seated position.  Also some mild discomfort climbing stairs, doing a ton of squats while working out, and other assorted things.  I've been told I've got the "waddle" a few times now.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm a little worried about the glucose test - my brother is type I diabetic, and I still feel like I've gained more weight than I'm supposed to (although the rate has tapered off a bit lately compared to 20-24 weeks). Like @mylittleirvz I need to go back and reread the glucose testing thread before next week!

Also, I have a hospital tour Sunday and a "preparing for baby" class next Tuesday and Thursday night.  Shiz is getting real now!

GTKY: What do you typically order at a coffee shop (either pre-pregnancy, now, or both)?  I've never been a sweet coffee drinks person, so pre-pregnancy it was always an iced coffee unsweetened, or a regular coffee, or maybe an americano.  Right now all of that causes Nugget to do backflips with the caffeine (ha!), so it's either hot tea or hot chocolate.  Yum, hot chocolate sounds so good right now!!

How far along are you? 27 weeks.

How big is baby? A big bottle of sriracha. Yuuummm.

Appointments this week? Nope. Had my follow-up for my glucose test last week and got put on a prescription iron supplement to help with my anemia. My OB also scheduled my RCS is she doesn't come on her own for my VBAC...things are getting really real over here!!

Symptoms? The fatigue is getting better thanks to the iron, but I'm still waking up every night around 3 AM (which sucks because I have to get up at 4:30 for work). RLP has been a BEAST because I went from looking not pregnant at all to properly 6 months pregnant in the span of two weeks. I am so sore it's ridiculous.

Rant/Rave/Questions? DS has been adjusting to his big boy bed really well! I've finally figured out his routine (he's always been a pretty independent sleeper), and that makes it so much easier. Basically, he wants some bouncy snuggles after a book, then he'll tell me "night night," so I lay him down and sit beside him. He fidgets for a bit, then sits up, crawls over to me for a hug and a quick snuggle, lays back down for his kiss on the forehead, and then I can leave with NO SCREAMING (he used to yell for about 30 seconds whenever I left). It's so adorable!

GTKY: What do you typically order at a coffee shop (either pre-pregnancy, now, or both)? If it's Starbucks, an unsweetened iced green tea lemonade. Anywhere else, it's usually just a green tea. On the rare occasion that I get a coffee, I take it black.

@SnarkasaurusRex When would your RCS be if you aren't able to VBAC? And that's so great that DS has found his good night routine in his big boy bed! I'm sure as time passes, it will get easier and easier. Soon you may just be able to give him a kiss and leave!

@KirstinH88 RCS is scheduled for April 5th (so I'm still a Wednesday girl, haha)! It's really freaking me out. She's checking me the day before and if there are signs of impending labor, she'll push it another week, which would be my due date (my hospital won't let me go over 40 weeks with births closer than 24 months; bah). I'm really hoping for a successful VBAC (mostly because not being able to pick up my son for 6 weeks sounds like torture - thank goodness DH works from home and DS will still be going to daycare), but I'm at peace with whichever way this child decides to exit my body, haha.

Here's hoping he continues to sleep well! DH has been gone the entire time for work, so hopefully his return doesn't screw up this good thing DS and I have going, haha. I kind of love the random hug, though...I don't mind sitting there for a couple of minutes to get it!

How big is baby? Same as the others... eggplant!

Appointments this week? Nope. I had my glucose test last week and passed. My iron is low so I'm on supplements. 

Symptoms? I found this week that I'm more tired than before. I'm definetly starting to slow down. Overall I still feel pretty good which is a relief. I'm thankful for sleep and regular BMs.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I just made a list of things I still need to do and it's long. I've also realized that I'm running out of time. Things are coming up so fast. 

GTKY: What do you typically order at a coffee shop (either pre-pregnancy, now, or both)?
I get a half decaf half regular coffee with milk and a bit of sugar... Very boring I know!

How big is baby? the size of a cauliflower 

Appointments this week? Nope, just my therapy appointment which I think going forward will be weekly. 

Symptoms? Just slowing down. I got new bras this week and I've gone up 4 cup sizes.  So that can stop at anytime. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? I think I posted about this somewhere else but I'm just so excited. I received a print I ordered for the nursery in the mail and I am really excited about it. It's by Rebecca Rebouché, who is a New Orlean's painter. I've wanted a print of her work for a long time but nothing has quite worked. This, though, is perfect for our nursery. My husband and I love to travel and are super adventurous.  I can't wait to get it framed!!

GTKY: What do you typically order at a coffee shop (either pre-pregnancy, now, or both)? Hmm...I do love a latte! Sometimes I like it with a flavor but usually I just order it plain...whole milk. I am anti reduced fat in any form, especially my dairy (minus cottage cheese, that's better as a 1%).

@Omie_Wise What a beautiful print! It kinda reminds me of a book DD has called Maps (https://www.amazon.com/Maps-Aleksandra-Mizielinska/dp/0763668966/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1484176865&sr=8-2&keywords=Maps) It's a really cool book.
