We announced today after a good report at the NT scan. We went simple with just an ultrasound photo, but it's so nice to not have to keep this huge secret anymore!
We won't be announcing to everyone for a while still, but last weekend we announced to immediate families. We put DD in this shirt and took her to our parents' houses.
It took DH's mom about 30 min to notice (his dad would've never noticed). My dad on the other hand noticed immediately, and hours later, had to finally point it out to mom as she is oblivious to basically everything. We have 3 sisters between us who all live in different states. We facetimed them all, and they all noticed right away.
We just announced today at my son's birthday party. This is our third. His name will be August Richard and we had the siblings open a present that had big sibling t shirts for them each and then a baby onesie and ultrasound photo with his name. My daughter was excited, son doesn't really get it (he's only 3 today). The grandparents, various family and friends were excited but in typical fashion by sister made it about her and stormed out because she hadn't been told first.
Our immediate families and close friends already knew but we announced to the rest of the world last week! I am fantastic at keeping other people's secrets but terrible with my own so it felt good to finally announce.
@Swazzle I love that calendar page you used! Did you make that? If you did... wow! If not... do you mind sharing where you found it? Thanks in advance
Sadly, I'm the least crafty person on earth! I actually saw something similar on Etsy and then asked my friend to make me one. She just emailed it to me and I printed it out. The ones I saw on Etsy were only like $3 for a digital copy so not too bad if you wanted to do that!
ETA: I have a copy of one that's blank (no heart around the 13th). If you're interested and aren't creeped out by sharing your address, I'm happy to email it to you.
Me & DH: 31 | Married: 5.4.13 | TTC: April 2016 | BFP: 1.8.17 | EDD: 9.13.17

@Swazzle - I sent you a message to your inbox (I think!). Thank you!!!!
I told my students today!! Mainly, I want to be able to wear some different clothes that may show my bump, as opposed to having to hide it!
My freshmen are learning about commas vs semicolons vs colons. I wrote a paragraph where I left all of them out and told them it was practice for a quiz next week. I started off by saying how much I love fall and then I said I have something extra-special to look forward to this fall: welcoming my first baby. They were all excited and it was so lovely to share with them!!!
Sorry I have been MIA for a bit. Between taking care of the house with DH laid up, the whole lice fiasco, and general anxiety about everything being OK with the baby, I'm just trying to make it through to next week. DH's cast comes off and I finally get my anatomy scan (plus we haven't seen any lice for almost 2 weeks...). Anyway, I'm probably the only person that hasn't announced yet because I'm paranoid, but if everything does look OK next week, I will tell my direct boss and team lead at work next Tuesday, and then post this on social media:
I so wanted to do this @missykhamvongsa but with my low blood pressure it's been too hot to venture to Disney... so we announced our pregnancy at the castle but we just did this for the gender
this was our announcement and gender reveal. Then we posted the video of us popping the balloon. It's a boy! The video was annoying though because my mom was in the background talking about how her phone wasn't working. I almost cried. Thought it had been ruined, it's just finally funny.
Re: Announcements!
@missykhamvongsa Love it!

And the baby's sex. It was captioned "Science says..."
