Middle Names for Jonah?

We just found out that Baby #2 is a BOY! My husband and I have finally agreed on Jonah as a first name, but are still (sort of) debating on middle names.

Our most mutually-liked option so far is: Jonah Rhys

We'd prefer a short, 1 syllable name, as last name will be 11 letters, Italian and 5 syllables! We also like names that are recognizable, but not crazy popular. Our first son is Aaron James (both family names...and yes, I know James doesn't meet our "not Top 10 rule").

Thoughts on Rhys? Any alternative ideas?

Thanks all for the added suggestions and the feedback. @MamaWren919, I actually suggested Jonah Reid and was vetoed (even though to me, sounds soooo similar, lol!). Looks like we have a keeper with Jonah Rhys...one thing to cross off the checklist, phew! Happy New Year all!
