Coming back to say that I really appreciate and respect all of the actual, legitimate reasons listed as to why "2016 sucks." A lot of the things mentioned are truly awful and I admit that about several of them I am woefully undereducated.
This video popped up that kind of sums up the people I disagree with and was referring to. Besides the election (which should probably start being capitalized as The Election, as I'm sure it will be taught as such in future history classes), the only other "real" thing brought up is Brexit (almost... except they called The UK "England"). This is what I think unfortunately, the majority of people seem to be talking about when they claim "2016 sucks." https://www.facebook.com/LADbible/videos/3038672026179967/
Also to the several of you who had tragic personal events happen to you, I am truly sorry and I do hope 2017 is kinder to you.
My son had uncomfortable amount of hair but by 3 or 4 months his head grew so big his head of hair looked barely there! My grandmother passed this year and it's been really stressful at work and home even this pregnancy has been so much more stressful this time but I know a new years not going to change that stuff. Just looking forward to a new child to get to know.
I don't expend much anguish or grief into the passing of celebrities. Like us common folk, they will eventually die. I might appreciate one more than another, like if I was more familiar with or a fan of their work, but it's part of life. I've seen more tributes to Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds than I feel is healthy. I don't blame 2016 for their deaths, I blame the heart attack and the stroke and whatever other medical event that occurred to each of them.
Nursing covers are the same to me as breastmilk vs formula - it's a personal choice based on one's comfort level and I have zero opinion on the decision of others. I used them for as long as DD tolerated them. When she started swatting them away, I stopped using them.
But it would make things way more interesting if there was more internet drama on this issue. Covered is best! Let the baby breath!
Haha!! Is that fabric print stimulating your baby's growth and intellect? No? Then you're using the wrong cover!!! *shock*fear*judgement*hatred*
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
Wait, I thought covered vs free *is* a big issue? "How dare you let your boobs hang out in public? Go feed your baby in the dirty public restroom."
Unfortunately that debate is alive and well. I got in an internet fight with a guy last year who said he never "let" his wife BF in public. He thought it was "gross" that anyone would do that. It was even more disturbing that his wife was a bf'ing mom. It's not like he was naive about how the whole thing works.

The first nine I nursed in public this was my husband. He told me is was disrespectful to everyone around d me and he left to go on a walk and came back after 20 minutes when he was sure I had finished. I was LIVID. It's an intimidating thing the first time you do it for sure!
Fast forward to a couple months later and he did a complete 180. He was practically itching for someone to make a comment so he could toss a swaddle blanket to them so they could cover *their* head. Dads are weird.

You've got a typo in the first sentence that for a second made me think you are pregnant with your tenth kid. I had to scroll up and see who was writing because I wasn't sure how I missed that somebody here has nine kids with a tenth on the way.
I guess I'm the silly one who is kinda upset about Carrie fisher. I just wonder about what will happen with princess leia. Episode 8 should be in post production, but was she supposed to be in episode 9? And if so how does that change the story? Will the character get the resolution she deserves?

Lol, if those are the only reasons people think 2016 is shitty, then, well, I'm happy for them that they don't have real problems.
