February FET anyone?

Re: February FET anyone?

  • @taddesse hold off a few more days. I also transferred 2/10 and tested this morning. Obvious bfn as it is just too early. I mean let's be honest I will totally test every day until my beta but it would have been better if I waited until day 5 or 6pt.

What poas ops will you be using?
  • I'm losing my resolve already. I walked into a dollar tree and stood in front of the pregnancy tests....and then I walked out empty-handed. I don't want to pay for the FRERs this early, but I know the dollar store HPTs have a much higher threshold so it's pointless to try them this early. UGH -- it's so hard waiting. At least since I didn't buy any today, I won't test tomorrow morning. One day at a time :)

  • @SingleGeneMe good for you!!! I am using FRER. They came 3 to a pack for 12 bucks on amazon prime. Honestly after all I have paid for oop treatment it is like what is another 24 for the peace of mind of using the best lol
  • @Joslynj11 congratulations!

    *TW*
I am am so nervous to test early!   I did so good when I had my fresh transfer and didn't test until 10dp5dt and saw a faint line on both tests.  Got excited, and then they just got fainter the next day, and non existent after that.  I'm convinced it was a cp but nurse said it would have come up on beta so no?  This go around I feel like I need stay positive and just wait it out.  I was at the dollar store a few days ago and the tests were staring me down at checkout.  Almost threw a couple in but resisted.
    TTC since:  1/2015

    2/23/17:  FET with a BFP on 3/8/17.
EDD: 11/11/17 with a baby GIRL!

  • Sooooooo question: and yes I know this is hard core reaching...

i took a FRER this morning and waited three minutes per the instructions. Negative.  Not surprising at 4dp5dt.

The instructions do specefically say say not to read results after 10 minutes. I did not check at the 10 minute mark.

I get get home from work and there is a faint but definite second line. Thoughts? Test malfunction as it was too long? Possible early indicator? Anyone come across this before?
  • @PCOSat25 Holy cow! That's so cheap! They are like $20 for 2 a the drug store. Thanks for the heads up!

  • @Redbass Good luck today!!! @JamieH2000 I can't wait to hear how your appointment on Friday goes. I know that you have a hard decision on your hands but keep your final goal in site and that is to be someone's mommy! I hope your RE has some good advice too. If you do go with your own eggs maybe she can give your some tips on helping with implantation. Mine couldn't really but I took it upon myself try every wives tale under the sun and maybe that's what help my little fighter stick. I just hope they keep on growing. I am going to keep on stalking and following you girlie <3

Good luck to my ladies about to test! I know how nerve wrecking it can be. Thinking of you ladies :)

  • Thanks, @SingleGeneMe and @Joslynj11!

The embryo thawed perfectly, and the transfer itself went really well! I did acupuncture pre and post, and we had a really relaxing day at home afterwards. I can go back to light/normal activity tomorrow, but I'll work from home the rest of the week. Everything looks good, and I'm feeling really positive. =)

Sending good vibes and keeping fingers crossed for all of you!
  • @RedBess I'm late seeing this! I'm glad everything went well! Sending positive thoughts for here on out!
  • Ok I have been POAS each morning since 4dp5dt. For the first two days I was getting at faint second line outside of the time window for valid testing. Couldn't quite decide what to take of it as the 2nd day was darker than the first. I didn't see that happening with an evap line.

this morning I got a super faint but definitely there line within the testing window. Side by side it is darker than both previous tests. WE ARE MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. Trying to not get too excited before beta but I have literally never in my life had a positive test before. @SingleGeneMe and @taddesse any news yet?

my first beta is Saturday and second is Monday. However my clinic is cruel and freezes the blood from first beta to test at the same time. So no actual results until Monday :(
  • @PCOSat25 - what? i've never heard of that before! why bother freezing the blood and test at the same time? makes no sense...
and yay for that second line! FX that the line gets darker!!
  • @PCOSat25 I can definitely see a line - congratulations! I was not trying to doubt you with the earlier tests, just wanted you to be prepared if it didn't ever get dark within the window. My FRERs are coming in the mail today, so I will probably first test tomorrow.

  • @PCOSat25 OMG!  I tested last night for the first time.  I literally went to Kroger bought a pregnancy test and went into their bathroom to test.  LOL!  I got a very faint line, which is more than I have every had before.  I got up this morning and tested again and the line is getting darker. I think its working!  I am going to test every moringing until my Beta on Monday.  I think you should keep testing to see if it keeps getting darker.

  • Hello Ladies! this week has been so hectic ive been reading up on everyone on my phone but its hard to reply so im finally getting time to sit down at the computer and get caught up.

@PCOSat25 and @Joslynj11 Congratulations on your BFP what a great valentines present!

@RedBess congrats on your smooth transfer and being PUPO! when is your Beta?

@Bharvey10 this is a bit delayed but just so you know i was instructed to do my PIO shots at 7pm, i try to aim for this time but it varies based on the evening events and i dont think it matters much, i also am on suppositories in AM and PM.

AFM, i am just anxiously waiting for Beta #2 on saturday, i just need to be reassured that the level is rising appropriately. After having 2 early pregnancy losses im constantly trying to push away the fear at each step.

Keeping fingers crossed for you and Beta #2!

  • I slept for about 2 hours last night. Between the progesterone and anxiety, I just couldn't stop tossing and turning. But EEK! I got a positive on a FRER just now! It's light but definitely not a squinter. Last round at this time, I couldn't see a line. So I'm cautiously optimistic!

  • @SingleGeneMe that is fantastic!!!! I am so excited for you!!!! Congratulations. I have to say I was also up half the night! Progesterone? Anxiety? I don't know what it is...

ugh i I almost feel more nervous going into beta with the bfp on my home test as my hopes aren't up.

I have to to stop taking tests because now I am just scrutinizing them. Is it darker? I should it light? What's does that mean. Ugh. Driving myself crazy over here
  • @Joslynj11 Walmart cheapies are my favorite!

Also is a side effect of progesterone insomnia because for the last few days almost a week I've been sleeping terribly I wake up around 1-2 o'clock to pee and never fall back to sleep. Definitely have anxiety for my next beta but it seems like more than that. But between no sleep and no caffeine I'm barely making it.

i had my 2nd beta today and the dr had to leave a message saying everything looked great but didn't leave the beta # so I have no idea what the change was but I'll hopefully find out from the nurse later. I also got word I can stop my PIO injections tomorrow! First pregnancy ultrasound scheduled for the 27th I can hardly wait!

@hibiscus118 Wow! Your lining is so impressive!! 4 days off for a transfer sounds awesome!

AFM: So I woke up at 2:30 wide awake and waited in bed until 4 to do another FRER. It looked about the same as yesterday's and I was nervous. Then I went back to sleep and later when I got up it actually looked a bit darker compared to yesterday's after it had dried. Still - not impressively dark. Then I decided to do a digital test with my SMU and I got a positive! It said "pregnant" and I cried! I can't believe it might work. Also, I am skeptical of FMU now.

this will technically be my 2nd. Then drew yesterday but will test both samples together tomorrow.
  • Good Luck today @PCOSat25 @SingleGeneMe @Joslynj11 @taddesse! I hope you ladies get great numbers!! Baby Dust to everyone!

AFM: Bad news. My beta was only 22. I have a feeling I'm going to have another chemical pregnancy. My embryos are PGS-tested, so I don't know what my body is doing to them!

  • @taddesse congratulations on a fantastic first beta!!!

@singlegeneme I am so sorry! Will you have a second beta to know for sure? My heart goes out to you!

    @Joslynj11 any news yet?

AFM: I am driving myself crazy out here on the west coast. It is only 12:30 so no results yet. My clinic said "this afternoon". The wait is killing me AND my confidence.
  • @SingleGeneMe I'm so sorry u r going through this.  I'm just coming off of a cycle with a CP with a PGS embryo and it is all so confusing and unfair.
  • Congrats to those with great beta numbers!!

@SingleGeneMe I'm so sorry you didn't get a higher number. I had a CP with 2 tested embryos in Decemeber and it's just such an extra kick in the ass when they are supposed to be "normal" and then that happens. You're not out yet of course, but I just remember how I felt when I got a low beta result.
