Had an interesting day today. I work in an office attached to an airplane hanger, I am not sure what happened but but the office smelled strongly of jet fuel (or exhaust from jet fuel). Other than it smelling awful I didn't think much of it until a fellow manager who knows I am pregnant (also a father of two) texted me and told me I shouldn't stay in my office and that I should go to the other building to work. Thankful for the heads up as it hadn't occurred to me that breathing in jet fuel fumes (while I didn't think it was healthy) was harmful to the baby. So I had an interesting field trip of a day at another desk - hopefully I can be back in my normal spot tomorrow.
@swanbrooner something similar happened to me today. After lunch I had this feeling of doom and I thought I was going to throw up or pass out. I couldn't get out of the convo I was having fast enough and kept saying "I need to sit down," I felt somewhat better pretty quickly after sitting. But it was a scary experience because I felt out of control.
@doodleoodle Maybe your questions have already been answered but I will throw in my two cents. I also had a c-section for my first baby because she was breech, although mine was planned and it went very well. I had a great experience and healed quickly so I don't regret it. I had an epidural during it and it was fine. I wouldn't mind a RCS if this baby ends up being breech too, but I am planning to at least try for VBAC. I know there is a small risk of uterine rupture, etc, but remember that c-sections have risks as well! Either way there is going to be risk, you can't avoid it, so the best you can do is read and educate yourself and make a decision after getting all the facts. And even then, life happens. NO birth plan is a guarantee, so it's best to be educated about all the possibilities.

My sense of smell is off the charts today... I'm annoyed at the smell of myself, but I mean, I showered this morning, have clean clothes... but literally am just that sensitive and anything that has any kind of smell is bothering me today.
I gagged on toothpaste this morning and it made me vomit the glass of OJ I'd had shortly before... and for some reason I ended up with OJ coming out of my nose. Not fun.
Our postpartum unit is completely full and they're currently holding 3 mom/baby couplets in L&D. Getting those tax deductions in before the window closes!!
