Thoughts on middle name

Right now I'd say our frontrunner for a girl is Abigail. Its more popular than I'd like, but MH really loves it, and its a favorite of mine, too. However, I'm struggling on a middle name. I'd REALLY like to honor my maternal grandmother. She died when my mom was 19 (long before I was born) and as crazy as it sounds, I've always felt like I have some sort of spiritual connection with her. Anyway, the problem is her name was Shirley. Which, is just not a pretty name. But, does Abigail Shirley have any kind of flow to it at all? Her middle name was Jean, and I feel like that's maybe worse... Thoughts on Abigail Shirley?

I think both Abigail Shirley and Abigail jean are fine. Neither flow terribly and I always vote honor vs perfect flow anyhow.

Yeah,  both are fine.

I don't mind Shirley at all, I don't love the flow with Abigail, but meaning trumps flow. Could you use her maiden name instead?
