@meld17011 I should do that! I called do the other Dr's office and their availability isn't great so it may not work with my work schedule. I'm back to the drawing board. Thank you for the idea of asking if my RE will follow me til the later appointment! I'm going to email them tonight. Unfortunately I started a new position a few months ago and I hate to ask for so much time off so I'm really trying to limit it.
Awwww thank you guys! You made me cry! I appreciate all the well wishes I know my updates are long but I figured its easier to post here than in the Trimester threads!
I definitely think my baby boy is a toughie! I will tell you this hasnt been easy, but fighting for him puts me at ease! I feel wholehartedly that as a mommy and my husband as his daddy its our job to fight until our very last breath for this little man! its crazy how much you can love someone that is not even here yet! and one thing this little man will always know is that he was worth the fight and how absolutely loved he is! And @kelrauh@AandDM2014 ME TOO and thought I may be the only one! It was drizzling this morning and my husband had to drive 2 hours away for an overnight conference and I awkwardly asked him to drive super safely and he was like "??? as opposed to???". @ADRIANAC1982 glad that your little man is still fighting hard and agree with @wifeinraleigh28 you have an amazing attitude and keeping strong for your little boy can only be helping him fight hard!

Is it just me, or do maternity pants suck?? I am 19 weeks along and wore maternity pants for ~2 hours for a dinner on Tuesday, and have been wearing them all day today. Every 4.3 seconds I have to pull them up and it is getting truly annoying. They even start pulling my underwear down a bit. Not fun. I can still fit into some old jeans I have, but the belt cuts right across my belly and is not overly comfortable. However--THEY STAY UP!!
Anyone solve this dilemma, or is this what the next 5ish months are going to look like for me? I'm really glad I'm an RN and I basically wear pajamas to work, so I only have to deal with actually dressing myself on the weekends and don't need an extensive maternity wardrobe, but day one of maternity clothes is not going so well for me.....

@dragonfaerie maybe just take the clothes and then if anyone asks if he wore them, you can snap a quick pic for them and say yea sure. My friend does that with clothes she doesn't like that her MIL buys. And then she just dresses her baby in the outfits she loves.
@PNW12RN I had the same thing with maternity jeans. It took a number of trial pairs to find good ones that stayed up. I found them at old navy and I love them. Although it was annoying when I tried to get a few backup pairs of the same style in different colors, those fit completely differently. As for black work pants, my favorite ones are from motherhood maternity by their own brand. They are skinny pants and so comfy, I can live in them! Same for old navy leggings, at this point they are pretty much all I wear.

@PNW12RN unfortunately I've had the same issues w/ maternity pants. Found some skinnys at Target that are BETTER, but still have to pull them up every once in a while. My friend passed down some designer jeans that are nice, but still need to be adjusted more than usual. I bought a "bella band" at Target that I wear over my non-maternity jeans/pants. It's pretty amazing. Look it up!
@dragonfaerie agree with pp! We got some hand me downs that are kind of gross... I politely took them, but am planning on throwing away. Not even going to pretend the baby wore them lol

@dragonfaerie I don't know which sex you're having, but I've heard that boys go through clothes like they're going out of style! I've had people offer me baby girl clothes, but that sorry, my son destroyed all of his. If you're having a boy, you'll probably go through them quickly. I'd say just take them all, go through them, and donate the ones you don't want.
@PNW12RN I think once you get a bigger tummy they'll stay up better. Mine still like to fall down a little, but they've gotten better about it over the last 2ish weeks.

@dragonfaerie That's really funny about the clothes, because I'm over here wishing people would give me hand me downs! A friend gave us four totes of clothes. . .all for girls! We just found out we are having a boy, so I decided to go through and see if anything is salvageable. I ended up with 6 things out of (not kidding) like 200 things. I'm praying we have some other friends who will pass down to us because baby clothes are expensive, and they wear them for such a short time! If you don't like some of what has been given you thpugh, don't feel bad about passing it on to someone else.

@dragonfaerie I loved getting the hand me downs but one neighbor kept giving so much I had to give some to my parents since they will be watching them when I go back to work. She also gave me a bunch of dr brown bottles and all I had to do was buy the nipples which I found out adr cheaper on Amazon. With twins i don't mind as much clothes but there are days when I will want to dress them alike. Another good thing with the clothes is that they have me stuff spread out to 3t so there set. And if you don't want to use the clothes donate them don't throw them away there are tons of people who can use them
