CD13 and (im)patiently waiting to O. I had some lovely EWCM today which got me excited but OPKs still coming up negative. Hopefully this weekend!

One thing: I read an article about how women who had a previous miscarriage had a higher change of miscarrying again if they conceived on any day other than -1 or 0 and now I'm panicking that we can ONLY BD on those two days or we'll increase our risk of another miscarriage. Has any heard anything similar? I'll try to find the link and post it here.

My TTC emotions are all over the place from super sad and crying yesterday to feeling hopeful and optimistic today.

How is everyone else doing? Anyone close to O?

If that's not working, the title is: Timing of conception and the risk of spontaneous abortion among pregnancies occurring during the use of natural family planning, you can probably google it. I'm not sure if there was any real correlation but interesting to think about, I guess.

So I had a solid smiley Tuesday and Wednesday and Wondfo's were positive as well. Today I'm low so I believe I got my O.  It's a bit early compared to when I normally would O as I'm now on CD 15 but I also no it takes a while for body to get back to normal.  So I guess I will be heading to the TWW 

@oliveoil. I have not heard that before. It would be interesting article to read

I have no idea what the rules are but I certainly appreciate you starting the thread @szwill86 ! I'm on CD7 and usually ovulate CD18 so I'll be here for a while...

Yay for the EWCM @oliveoil! Before TTC, I used to be so grossed out by EWCM but now I get so happy when I see it. Sorry that this month has been up and down for you so far. Like you, I was in tears yesterday (and the day before) but feel better today. It's hard to know what to expect. 

@Mack2342 FX for you this cycle. I decided to add Clearblue tests (which give the smiley faces, right?) to my Wondfo routine because I never get a clear positive on the Wondfos. Why do you use both tests? Do you start with the Wondfos earlier, because they are cheaper, and then add on the Clearblue when you get closer to O?

@Wingless00  I remember being grossed out with EWCM too.  Back then I had no idea what it was.  I have to admit that I had no idea until I read TCOYF.  I felt like nobody explained to me what my body was doing.  Now I would kill for some EWCM

CD11 here.  Did an OPK this morning and about half hour ago.  Both negative.  Temps have been a little crazy. They have been around 97.2 the last few days.  Hoping for another day or so of it staying stable and a temp jump for O.  

@oliveoil  and @Wingless00  My emotions have been a mess as well.  I think I'm ok with this whole mc thing and then something random triggers me.  Sometimes it's just a thought.....  To fix this, let's all O - have it get fertilized, get BFPs and H&H 9 months!!!

@Wingless00 I just started using ClearBlue this cycle too in addition to the Wondfos. I just wanted a confirmation by using two different tests, I guess (and helps with my POAS addiction to test two different times! The CB I use FMU and the Wondfos usually mid-morning or afternoon).

@SP128 That is a great idea: let's all O, fertilize, get a BFP, and have a H&H 9 months, I'm in!

Side note: anyone else found/love the yule log channel on TV? I'm sitting here with a fake crackling fire and a cup of decaf green tea, it's pretty great stress reliever! (although H just came in and changed the channel to the news, not so stress reliving...!!!)

So I started the thread but forgot to comment!

CD 15, still the same not dark not light second line on Wondfos. The past 4 cycles I've gotten positives by now. I wonder if my chemical pregnancy is the reason I don't see anything yet. But I did have some EWCM this morning so hopefully I'll see that positive this weekend. 

@oliveoil I know the channel you're talking about. I don't put it on now that I have an electric fireplace built into my tv stand, but I used to! Makes me feel festive for the holidays.

@Wingless00. I use both just as a confirmation. I figure if they both say the same thing they both can't be wrong and have to be right!  I just added them after the MC. Prior to that I only used Advanced CB and yes they are the ones with the smiley faces

i hope everyone gets their O and we can get BFP!

Man, you guys are on top of it. Two types of opks. I'm doing one and temping. Anyone know if the opk doesn't register anything but temps do if it'll still be considered an o?  I'm thinking yes, just wanted to see what you ladies think

@SP128 if you're using Fertility Friend, it will give you dotted crosshairs with an O day marked. Marking the positive OPKs will give you a solid crosshair line when combined with temping. And I'm with you on just one type of OPK and temping, so don't worry!

@szwill86 huh. That's why I got cross hairs last cycle. Since I still had hcg in my system I didn't do opk , but my temps indicated ovulation. This cycle, my temps are a mess and I just got a positive opk. Let's see how ff interprets this mess, because I don't know

I am on day 15. This is our first cycle trying after being benched for five months. I am trying not to stress to much by testing all the time. When we were trying to get pregnant before my first loss I did ovulation test strips and became a bit obsessed. I think it might have increased my stress. So I am trying not to do that again If this month doesnt happen I am going to start temping next month. Temping has always confused me and seemed a bit intimidating

I officially go here now... cd 6. Apparently what was supposed to be posted on the November WTO thread never got posted. I can't believe that I missed it. I am thinking of buying some Wondfos for this cycle. Which if I'm not sure if I am actually going to get on time now that I think about it. Guess I should have ordered them early. Oh well. Maybe next month. I used Clearblue Digital Advanced with both my other BFPs but am I just don't want to spend that kind of money. I usually O between cd 12 & 14, so I guess just planning to HIO EOD/ED when I get closer to cd 12.

@Hopefulmommy1980 I am also willing to chart stalk. I am probably not at good as @RiverSong15 , but still willing.

@Hopefulmommy1980 The POAS addiction is real. Temping isn't so bad once you get used to it and there is a lot of knowledge on these boards to help you along the way. Congrats to being off the bench! How are you feeling? 

@stephann85 I ordered some Clearblue OPKs on my amazon subscribe and save and am now not sure if they will arrive in time for me, either. I wanted to use them as a back-up for my Wondfos since I have yet to get a true positive with them. But yesterday I started wondering if I should chill and just HIO days 14-20. Arg! GL to you this cycle!

CD 19 over here and I think today is my O day based on OPKs and fake temps put into FF  This would be the latest I've ovulated in the past few cycles and the only thing I did differently this cycle was to NOT take my red raspberry leaf pills from CD1-O day. When I took those,I O'ed between CD14-16. Is it related? I don't know, but it's good to note. Now to call the dr to see if I can push back my HSG to a week later...

I've had positive opks the last two mornings. And some temp rises. Just waiting for ff. I feel like I'm stalking the elusive o.

How soon after a <5 HCG would the wondfos be accurate again for predicting O? I was getting a positive before I was unaware that HCG triggered a false positive for ovulation.

@justsuzie Not really sure but I was getting negative OPKs when I was still getting positive pregnancy tests on the wondfos. OB didn't track my hcg so I don't know what my numbers were...

@szwill86 I think raspberry leaf might be the cause. I've read it affect cycle duration. GL this cycle @SP128 + OPK today for me as well. GL BDing and FX for perfect timing . @justsuzie Once you have - HPTs you can track ovulation with OPKs as usual.

If you don't look at the opk then it looks like O was cd 13. If you put in a dummy temp for tomorrow does it give you crosshairs? I know you said this is your first cycle post mc but is this your first attempt at temping or do you previous post O temps to go on?

Hi. I just put in a fake temp tomorrow (def didn't know you could do that!). Nothing. 
My first month temping was in aug and I got pg. I turned an opk on cd12 and ff said I ovulated on cd13. 

The temp for cd13 in aug was about 97.4. 
I just attached aug chart since I just learned how to do that this morning !!

@SP128 I think today is O day based on temps and OPK. Your temps the last three days are still low, despite the dip in CD13, and overall they are consistent with your pre-O temp range from the other cycle. I'd HIO again today. And FF will need 3 high temps before giving you CH, which means temping is good for confirming O, but horrible for predicting O. Because you're halfway through a cycle right now, looking at temps is kinda like trying to figure what a puzzle picture is with only half the pieces in place. The big picture is what matters, not a single puzzle piece (or single temp). In any case, today as O day is my bet. What has your CM been doing yesterday and today? 

ETA: FF has a lot more algorithms to determine O, but a good rule of thumb is the "3 over 6" rule. O is confirmed when you see 3 temps all higher than the previous 6.

Hi. Thanks so much @RiverSong15.  I usually get very little cm. I did notice some I think after a bm today (sorry tmi) but not sure if it is from Preseed last night. Unfortunately I inserted but didn't end up bd. Will def try tonight !!! Is it just me or bd seems like a chore during fertile window ?

@SP128 it looks like it . For sure BD its a chore during FW. I usually wait until +OPK to make sure DH is not overwhelmed by the time the key days arrive. This means I usually only end up BDing twice and hoping for the best. Seems like we will be moving to TWW soon. Let the games begin lol

@endo_mom  We ended up BDing a few days before a +OPK and last night I wasted some preseed.  I think I wore him out  I still had a +OPK yesterday morning but it went away by 6:45 pm last night.  A ladies chart stalked for me this morning and think that O may happen today.  I have not brought it up with DH yet.  Don't really know how to bring it up tonight and not have him feel too pressured.  We both know that I just want that baby batter

I agree with you ladies, I also feel like BD can be a chore during FW -- DH gets stressed and has trouble performing and I get upset that he's "not into me". It can be a mess. That's partly why I get so happy for O.  Spike temp today for me, waiting on my crosshairs, hopefully heading to TWW now.

And I think it is because he knows there will then be a sex drought with a only few sprinkles until the next cycles fw, when there is another flooding of HIO. Poor guy, my sex drive was way higher before we started ttc.

Haha @stephann85 I don't tell him either. I think he doesn't care anyways because we work opposite shifts so anytime he's going to get some action initiated by me when he comes home, he doesn't question it!

Ladies...for the ones who temp +OPK. How long after your first +OPK did you actually ovulate? Trying to pinpoint ovulation since I'm not temping...just OPKs.
