Is the shell app by Bella beat legit?

everywhere I look online it seems like the real deal but the nurses at my doc said they never heard of it and on some other baby apps people are saying it's a scam while others are saying it's the real deal.

when I did it on my knee, pillow and couch I heard like wind blowing g sounds and when I did it near my pubic bone I got what sounded like a HB that I hear at the docs office. I am 9.4 weeks

Not saying it is not possible, but I was just at the doctor and he was unable to find a hb with his Doppler at 11 weeks, so I doubt you could find it on the app at 9 weeks.  You likely heard your own heartbeat or it is prerecorded, like the others said the the other thread regarding the shell app.
