@pepper16 hope things go well with the bloodwork and that your doc can help you figure this out! Is the pain worse?

@irishrose54 @manillabar the pain was getting more consistent all last week, subsided a bit yesterday, but is back today. It's more very specific discomfort rather than what I'd call real pain if that makes sense? I could draw a dot exactly where it is achy on my lower right. I'm at the doctor's now for a blood draw but won't see the OB. I'm just frustrated that I don't feel heard about my concern about a cyst. But hopefully the results will come back quickly and positively and we can move forward! FX!!

I had my first appointment today with an NP and they used a tiny handheld ultrasound and we even saw the heartbeat. I'm so glad we got to see it. It made everything seem so much more real.

A small update on my earlier post about the test: got my betas back and they're still doubling at about a 35 hour rate!

Second blood draw for HCG back and my level was up into the 1,000s. They not 100% it's doubling just because it was a few days between tests due to the weekend but it's up high enough that they're confident all is good so now I just wait until my appointment on 12/12

115 - based on the chart from my Dr. I shared over the Beta thread that fits my current estimations.

So if I doubled every 24 hours and 115 was Thursday then Saturday would have hopefully been ~230 and then Monday ~460 so then getting over 1,000 by Tuesday seems good to me (and my Dr). I think it was more mid-1,000s but I don't remember. They'll put it on my chart in a few days (Thursdays showed up on my online chart this morning)

Update to yesterday's appointment - 

went to radiology and had another uptrasound. Babe is measuring 6 weeks, 4 days. HR is 144 BPM! I don't think I've ever been so damn happy in my life!

I entered the following information into the calculator and showed your rate of doubling was 36 hours:
- November 10th (Thursday) 115
- November 15th (Tuesday) 1100 -since we're not sure what the exact number was

@SaphireSweetie88 - thanks! Makes sense that my Dr. says it's good and no more blood draws for now. I think it may have been a tad higher so that's even good too.

Knowing my 4+4 HCG was at 115 helped me realize why I didn't get a BFP until two days after my period was due (although I didn't check the day it was due or the day after...but I checked the day before to a BFN)

First appointment was today. I'm 5w6d according to LMP but baby measured exactly 6 weeks. The sonographer warned me ahead of time that there was a good chance we wouldn't see much of anything but as soon as she had it on the screen she immediately could see the heartbeat. I'm ecstatic of course. Bloodwork will be at the next appointment in a few weeks.

Update: just got betas back from yesterday (5+3) and they look good! 19,763. So they think my lower right pain is likely one of my cysts acting up (right.... like I said... ugh) so I'm going in for an earlier than planned u/s next Wednesday to check out both baby and ovary. Relieved that my numbers look good and we're finally addressing my concern. Also excited that I'll hopefully get to hear the heartbeat earlier than planned - and that it'll be just before Thanksgiving so we can share with our families! FX!

So much for being done this week. I had a tiny bit of spotting today so I called my OB because I didn't know and talked to a nurse who is going to have me do a blood draw to check my HCG again tomorrow and to check my blood type to see if I'm RH-negative. Although the spotting was light pink and then brown and seems to have stopped. I had one large cramp but no other since (and *TMI* that may have been constipation related).

I'm not too concerned but it hard to be completely calm since this is my first pregnancy so I don't really know what is normal and what is not. From what I've read this seems normal but I guess we'll see.
