Happy Friday and Happy Veterans Day to any we may have here on the board.  We made it through another week ladies...what's everyone got on deck for the weekend?

Tomorrow is teeball, Christmas card pictures (which I still don't have outfits ready for) I have to drive my mom to the airport.  FSU plays tonight so I will have a stress free college football Saturday which will be nice.  Sunday we have nothing scheduled so I really need to muster the energy to deep clean my pit of a house.

Tonight our oldest has a Veterans Day performance at school. We have our last soccer game of the season tomorrow afternoon, and hanging out with friends that evening.

Our dog passed away suddenly last weekend and our other dog is a mess without him. I'm going to adopt a dog from a rescue tomorrow at an adopting event! Other than that, hoping to get caught up on laundry and cleaning this weekend. I've had no ambition to do anything around my house lately.

Today I took advantage of my Veterans Day freebies and had Olive Garden, DH and I also cleaned the entire house.

This weekend we have zero planned. It sounds glorious.

@LAMCH1980 they are all mixed breeds! We have never had anything but mutts. I like three that they have available so I just need to see which one gets along with my little doggie the best

Just got home from Epcot. It's the last weekend for the Food and Wine festival. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday so we will do whatever he wants which will probably be stay home and watch football.

Dad's coming to town tomorrow and we will celebrate the Mr's bday. Tomorrow is also DD's swim class. Fingers crossed for a class that DOESN'T involve tears...

In the morning we have soccer (last game, thankfully, and it's going to be freaking cold), and then my SS has a swimming lesson.  The rest of the day I think is going to be a deep clean the house kind of day.  

Sunday night DH and I are going to the Patriots game, assuming I can last the whole game without falling asleep.  I really hate 8:30 games.

We have our first appt today but our sitter fell through at the last minute so we'll have to drag both boys with us.

@awillis13 you're going to the patriots game which means you're really going to see the Seahawks!!!!!! Woop woop!!!! Just kidding.  But go Hawks!!! 

I brokedown and treated myself yesterday at Williams and Sonoma.  I bought the entire 8 piece setting of their T'was the Night Before Christmas dishes and accessories.  It was  a ton of money but every year I see that set and I love it.  Can't wait to set a gorgeous table this year!

@kassyfry I agree - pictures are a must! I want a dog so badly at this point.  My little girl of 17 years passed away almost exactly a year ago and while I love my cat it just isn't the same.  I'm still waiting for DH to get on board though.  Until then, I get very excited to see other people's  puppies!

I don't have a ton planned this weekend.  I'm thinking some errands this morning and then home for college football (PSU at noon and VT at 3:30) while I hopefully get some stuff done around the house.  Tomorrow will be early church so that I can make it to an afternoon Paint Nite event with my mother. I'm hoping that I'll be able to squeeze in grocery shopping after Paint Nite and still be home in time for the 4:25 NFL games.

My dh is getting home from a week in Honduras so I've got to clean up my lazy bachelorette pad today and then enjoy welcome home snuggles most of the day tomorrow.

I'm in Alaska visiting my best friend.  It's been great!  However, I could do without the constant nausea.  With every pregnancy I start developing aversions to even non-food things, like TV shows, websites, certain activities, etc.  It puts a damper on my daily activities.

@kassyfry That puppy is too cute! Enjoy all the happy puppy love.  I think it's so great that you adopted.  I used to work in rescue and it's always good to see one of these little ones get a good forever home.  Love those ears!

@Wearmi1 I do like the Seahawks too (just not when they play the Patriots).  I grew up with Lofa Tatupu (I know he doesn't play anymore, but we like to root for the local guys).

I got a haircut today and then headed to a Korean festival for a grad school class. I'm looking forward to relaxing and watching football tonight, and tomorrow. Not looking forward to writing my paper!

I am working....all weekend. It is not how I would normally like to spend the weekend. On the upside, I left a nice little honey-do list for DH which included finding a storage unit so we can put our house on the market.

I've spent all day on the couch watching Hallmark Christmas movies! Tomorrow I'm sending dh and our older two to my parents house to watch the Broncos game since we don't get it on regular tv. I plan on putting the toddler down for a nap and taking a nap of my own. Although I really need to catch up on some laundry and basic cleaning. My house is suffering big time right now. I really want to bust out my Christmas decorations too, but dh promised we could do everything next weekend since we'll be gone Friday/Saturday after Thanksgiving and the following weekend is packed with other activities.

@Mother0fDragons I went to be during the game. It my lovely husband work me up when Iowa was about to kick the field goal.  I am kind of glad I saw it because it was crazy but I also had to have a snack and couldn't go back to sleep for awhile after.

Woke up this morning feeling awful.  Congested, sore throat, achy all over.  So now DH is going to the Patriots game with his stepfather because an 8:30 game is not in the cards for me tonight.  

Oh oh and the post nasal drip is kicking my nausea into overdrive

My sister in law just told the immediate family tonight that she's pregnant and we were planning on telling them about our pregnancy tomorrow prior to knowin about hers. Now I feel like it looks like we're trying to compete by being like "oh we're pregnant too!" Although she's due a month and a half before me. It's her first with a guy she just started dating and this is my second with my husband and we had been trying for six months so I'm already a little sensitive about it. It also doesn't help that the month before this baby was my chemical pregnancy so it makes it that much more frustrating that she got pregnant by accident when we had been trying and had a loss in the meantime. She's due a couple of weeks before I would have been due. I don't know. I might just be too sensitive of a person about it.

Your feelings are valid and I understand the pain/frustration.  It's good to use us as a sounding board so that you can vent to us and be supportive of your SIL.  Don't change your announcement plans.  It's nice they had their day and now you can have yours.  Think how great it will be to have cousins so close in age.  

It can be hard to have reminders of your own losses through someone else's successful pregnancies.  I try to look at those babies as a gift; they're a small window through which I can track the milestones of where my own child would/should have been.  

Allow yourself to feel however you need to.  Use us as a sounding board so you can be supportive and happy for your family.
