First time posting here? Introduce yourself! This is my 4th pregnancy. Two previous losses (most recent in July) and one healthy 10 month old baby boy. I also have a 5 year old and a 3 year old who I just recently adopted (step mom adoption) 

How far along are you? 6 weeks

How are you doing? Some days I'm doing exceptionally well. I have that fear that this is all fake or that something is going to happen, even though there's nothing I can do about it. 

When is your next appointment? My intake appt is 11/16 where we do paperwork and my first actual appt isn't until 12/13. 

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My boobs will not stop burning at night..so much so I can't sleep! And I'm exhausted by 630pm. 

GTKY: What's your all-time ride-or-die favorite TV show? Breaking Bad. No doubt about it.

Yay got to see the little bean yesterday along with a heartbeat! So excited. Will go back in 2 weeks to make sure things are still going well, but I'm sooo happy since last time I didn't get to have that experience

Kind of a dear diary post but I don't know who else would understand...

I was on the Feb17 BMB for a few weeks when I was pregnant over the summer and quite active there.  I have wondered from time to time how the ladies are doing and secretly was rooting for them to make it through the first trimester period though I never checked.  Well, I'm on this board now so I thought, oh! I can handle it, Let's see how everyone is doing.  So I go to the HDBD thread because I'm so curious and excited to see how it's going - and man!  I cannot handle it I am so dumb.  Why did I think that was a good idea?  I just purposefully tortured myself for no reason. Jeez!  I was so happy for them but I didn't realize that I would then have the visual of where I would have been if the pregnancy had continued.  It took the air out of my chest.  It gets easier, right?  Being pregnant again made me feel so much better that I think I underestimated the loss feelings re-surfacing so intensely.  Now I'm feeling super fragile again.  Sigh...

I am sorry that you went through that. I don't know if it will get easier but not beat yourself up over it! It's perfectly okay to be sad and hurt over the loss you had. Hugs

@SaphireSweetie88 you're right of course!  I'm still just surprised at myself - why would I go poking around in that thread?  There must not be enough drama on July17 to keep me entertained lol!   Sigh....  Well, I really hope it gets easier for all of us!

Lol. Give it a while and like with any other board on TB there will be drama lol. I hope it gets easier for all of us too. From what I've been told, the first few weeks can be scary / rough but then usually gets easy/ easier after that

@caribbeanmama  I did the exact same thing 2 days ago with the May board. It was torture. I hope you did something kind for yourself after...  this after a loss stuff is rough

@caribbeanmama and @MrsN092714 well ladies we are in good company bc I've done the same with the march bmb. Those bumps are so cute and my heart aches when I see where I could be. I also just recently passed my first due date (two losses back to back this year) so it's just been hard to be excited but hopefully we all get those bumps this time around. So just having a bad day today ladies, and I figured who would understand better than you all. I have been doing pretty okay lately, but today just getting super nervous and worried. I also barely have any symptoms at all and it concerns me. I try to tell myself it doesn't mean anything, but I was the same way last time and it is just nerve-racking. I am so super happy to see everyone's amazing posts of their little beans and the heartbeats, but then I recall seeing the heartbeat last time and then immediately finding out how low it was and what it meant. Plus, today is my wedding anniversary and I am so thankful for DH that I keep telling myself to not worry and be happy, but some days are just tough.

Sorry for the book, just would appreciate some kind words/good vibes. I hope you all are doing well this week.

@GG620 awww <<hugs>>   Your feelings are completely understandable.  I had a similar experience with my loss so my heart aches that you had to go through that too.  It is nerve-wracking and some days are better than others.  Give yourself permission to feel how you feel today, whilst reminiscing perhaps on your marriage and how special it is that your anniversary is here.  Being grateful for one doesn't negate or diminish the pain of the other.  I am officially sending you loads of sticky baby dust your way   oh and Happy Anniversary!!!  How long have you been married?

@caribbeanmama thank you so, so much! I really appreciate your kind words. It really does help to be able to connect with some other women who have been through the same thing.  We have been married 2 years today so not very long, but I can't believe how fast 2 years already went!

@GG620 happy anniversary! Mine was yesterday
